Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain.
Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity.
The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so.
The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

We now have slab wood for sale if you do not want to rummage for wood in the forest

Chunk wood is furnished for the inside stove. There is a splitting maul, snow shovel, and hatchet

Our campsite is secluded, peaceful, and provides exclusive access for up to 4 people and 2 cars. It includes an outhouse, lean-to shelter, two fire pits, Adirondack chairs, and hammocks. The site is about 200 feet from the parking area, accessed by a slight downward slope. We provide a cart to help carry your gear. Though you may spot us gardening or swimming nearby, your campsite offers plenty of privacy. With no other houses on our dirt road, you’ll be surrounded by nature’s sounds. Clear nights are perfect for stargazing, and the pond beside the campsite adds to the beauty.
Although the site has no running water, we provide a 5-gallon jug with a spigot, filled with fresh well water for drinking, washing, and cooking. You can refill it at our house if needed.
Our dog may bark at your arrival but is very friendly and loves belly rubs.
You’ll have ample space around your campsite to relax. We respect your privacy and kindly ask you to respect ours. Our house, gardens, greenhouses, and front lawn are private.

Located at the end of a dirt road, quiet with views of Killington/Pico and Salt Ash Mountain. Its a 15 min drive from Okemo/Ludlow, 10min drive from the Appalachian trail (7.9 mile walk) and there are 3 other Ski resorts within an hour of us as well as numerous lakes and hiking trails. Just 2 miles up the road is Star Lake and the quaint town of Belmont.
Our 7 acres sits on the Northside of Belmont hill. Half of it is open with several gardens to meander through. There is a pergola filled with kiwis and wisteria and a hammock for lounging. A shady grape arbor filled with white grapes that we have made wine with. On property we have a tree fort, greenhouse, chickens and pigs. We do provide fresh eggs for sale.
There is a medium pond in the back for swimming, a large fire pit for fires and but the Hip Shack comes with its own fire pit/grill combo. Wood bundle's are also available.
There is a rudimentary outdoor toilet and shower. The shower can be filled with hot water using the faucet by the garage. All water from hoses, pump hoses and faucets is the same drinkable well water, collected from the many underground springs that also feed into the pond.

Easy access to beautiful Chapman Pond (100 yards away), which is stocked with Trout and also home to Bass, Crappie and Perch. Great place to fish or just relax! The use of two kayaks and firewood available at no extra charge. (IF using the kayaks, they are to be brought back to the campsite and NOT left at the pond. If they are left at the pond and stolen, campers will be responsible for the replacement cost, which is about $600.) Lots of wildlife (loons, turtles, geese, deer, bear etc). You're free to explore the land and trails that go part way around the pond to the "Big Rock" and beyond. Info at the campsite for other nearby hikes and activities. We allow public access to the "Grassy Area", however larger camper groups that book this site have full access and are welcome to setup tents there, but no fires are allowed on the grass.. only in designated fire pit.
(FOR THOSE WITH A TOW BEHIND CAMPER, you will want to drive to the pond boat landing at the end of Chapman Pond Rd, turn around, head back towards the campsite and BACK IN.)
FOR THOSE WITH DOGS, we love dogs, we have our own. For everyone's safety and well-being we ask that you please keep them with you and under your control at all times. We have a farm nearby and want no casualties because of a loose dog. Also, our 90 lb APBT is very friendly but not to every dog he meets. $20 PET FEE - 2 DOGS MAX.
SMOKERS, we allow smoking at the site but please dispose of your butts properly and help keep our property beautiful.
All around beautiful and peaceful campsite. City of Keene is 15 minutes away.

Besides our animals (chickens, border collies, and cats), we have a beautiful pond, outdoor brick pizza oven (with advance request we can deliver fresh pizza to your campsite), a lean-to where you can gather for dinner or put your tent under if the weather is bad, gardens, the best star gazing you can find, and a beautiful view. Watch and listen to the birds, hang out with the goats, chill in the hammock, or explore Southern Vermont. We live and work on the property.
Our campsite allows a max of 4 people and parking for two cars.
Since 2019, we've been hosting campers, earning a reputation as proud superhosts with 5-star reviews on AirBnb. While camping with us, you’ll meet our friendly border collie, Stevie, farm cats Walter and Frida, and a lively flock of chickens.
With advance notice, we offer farm-made pizzas from our outdoor oven, delivered directly to your campsite. Enjoy exploring the woods, birdwatching, stargazing, or discovering the beauty of southern Vermont.
Our campsite is secluded, peaceful, and provides exclusive access for up to 4 people and 2 cars. It includes an outhouse, lean-to shelter, two fire pits, Adirondack chairs, and hammocks. The site is about 200 feet from the parking area, accessed by a slight downward slope. We provide a cart to help carry your gear. Though you may spot us gardening or swimming nearby, your campsite offers plenty of privacy. With no other houses on our dirt road, you’ll be surrounded by nature’s sounds. Clear nights are perfect for stargazing, and the pond beside the campsite adds to the beauty.
Although the site has no running water, we provide a 5-gallon jug with a spigot, filled with fresh well water for drinking, washing, and cooking. You can refill it at our house if needed.
Our dog may bark at your arrival but is very friendly and loves belly rubs.
You’ll have ample space around your campsite to relax. We respect your privacy and kindly ask you to respect ours. Our house, gardens, greenhouses, and front lawn are private.

Our homestead is a judicious 20-acre mixture of meadow, woodland, orchard, gardens, and wild and cultivated berry patches.
Lots of opportunities to interact with wildlife (and my livestock dogs -- Koa, Irie, Makita & Bostitch), explore the woods and sit in the peace of wild things. Surplus eggs and extra seasonal produce (grown, foraged) for sale when available.
A very rewarding and strenuous hike leads you down into a beautiful secluded brook, with waterfalls and swimming holes. An absolutely magical spot you will most likely get to soak in in complete solitude. Other great hiking throughout our woods and nearby in Jamaica and Townshend state parks.

Rustic and Comfortable Cabins. No power lines cross our property. We have no blaring screens to distract us from the sound of the wind in the leaves or to call us back to the whirl of modern life. But that does not mean we are without any comforts.
Each cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, hot and cold running spring water, indoor bathroom, and overhead LP gas lamps. Nestled in the forest at meadow's edge, Cold Spring Cabin has an outdoor shower and indoor tub. Perched on a hill near the Farm Pond, Ripley Hill Cabin has an indoor shower and tub.
The cabins are rustic, but clean and airy. Located at the end of a dirt road, quiet with views of Killington/Pico and Salt Ash Mountain. Its a 15 min drive from Okemo/Ludlow, 10min drive from the Appalachian trail (7.9 mile walk) and there are 3 other Ski resorts within an hour of us as well as numerous lakes and hiking trails. Just 2 miles up the road is Star Lake and the quaint town of Belmont.
Our 7 acres sits on the Northside of Belmont hill. Half of it is open with several gardens to meander through. There is a pergola filled with kiwis and wisteria and a hammock for lounging. A shady grape arbor filled with white grapes that we have made wine with. On property we have a tree fort, greenhouse, chickens and pigs. We do provide fresh eggs for sale.
There is a medium pond in the back for swimming, a large fire pit for fires and but the Hip Shack comes with its own fire pit/grill combo. Wood bundle's are also available.
There is a rudimentary outdoor toilet and shower. The shower can be filled with hot water using the faucet by the garage. All water from hoses, pump hoses and faucets is the same drinkable well water, collected from the many underground springs that also feed into the pond.

Easy access to beautiful Chapman Pond (100 yards away), which is stocked with Trout and also home to Bass, Crappie and Perch. Great place to fish or just relax! The use of two kayaks and firewood available at no extra charge. (IF using the kayaks, they are to be brought back to the campsite and NOT left at the pond. If they are left at the pond and stolen, campers will be responsible for the replacement cost, which is about $600.) Lots of wildlife (loons, turtles, geese, deer, bear etc). You're free to explore the land and trails that go part way around the pond to the "Big Rock" and beyond. Info at the campsite for other nearby hikes and activities. We allow public access to the "Grassy Area", however larger camper groups that book this site have full access and are welcome to setup tents there, but no fires are allowed on the grass.. only in designated fire pit.
(FOR THOSE WITH A TOW BEHIND CAMPER, you will want to drive to the pond boat landing at the end of Chapman Pond Rd, turn around, head back towards the campsite and BACK IN.)
FOR THOSE WITH DOGS, we love dogs, we have our own. For everyone's safety and well-being we ask that you please keep them with you and under your control at all times. We have a farm nearby and want no casualties because of a loose dog. Also, our 90 lb APBT is very friendly but not to every dog he meets. $20 PET FEE - 2 DOGS MAX.
SMOKERS, we allow smoking at the site but please dispose of your butts properly and help keep our property beautiful.
All around beautiful and peaceful campsite. City of Keene is 15 minutes away.

This is my third time at this dome with the same best friend. We love it every time. We go on walks, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, and love coming back to the yurt with a fireplace.
We have brought a dog with us every time and it has been extremely easy. The bed isn't huge so depending on how many dogs sleep with you, think about that.
It also does take some time for the yurt to actually start warming up after starting a fire, so take that into account on what time you are arriving and how cold it will be. However, once hot, you could be roasting.

This is a gorgeous cabin, thoughtfully furnished and in a beautiful location. The hosts were kind and communicative. The only downside to my stay was that the pellet stove was placed on such a setting that it produced extended noise at regular intervals. This was no issue at all during the day but ruined our sleep the first night, despite our use of earplugs and a white noise machine. The second night, we decided to turn off the stove, which was fine because it wasn't too cold outside (around freezing). I would not recommend staying here if it's so cold that you need the stove at night, but I recommend staying here any other time.

This was the perfect “glamping” spot! Tara has the space supplied with everything you may need. We especially enjoyed cooking our dinner over the fire, and sleeping to the sounds of the wood stove burning at night. Be prepared for the sounds of wildlife (coyotes). We never encountered them and always felt safe, but could certainly hear them! We would definitely return to this spot.

I had a great time camping here! It was quiet, private, peaceful and had a great little fire pit set up. There was water at the site also which made the trip so much easier for me. The land was beautiful. Marcus was communicative and helpful and even brought some more firewood when I ran out. I hope to go back there again next season.
