The site is located on a lovely mountain brook in Huntington. The small 8' x 8' cabin includes a queen bed with a mattress protector (you provide your own linens, blankets, and pillows), a small wood stove, and a bedside table. The large windows overlook the falls, and you’ll fall asleep to the sound of the waterfalls and brook. There are drawers for storage under the bed. The site is accessed by a gravel driveway off a Class 4 road, and you can park close to the site. In winter, when there is snow on the ground, the Class 4 road isn’t plowed past the bridge, so you’ll need to walk in—about 50 yards from the parking area. Firewood is provided for the wood stove. The site is near our home (about 100 meters away through the woods) but is relatively private. It’s within a short drive or bike ride to some of the best mountain biking and hiking (Camel’s Hump, Mount Abe) and cross-country skiing (Sleepy Hollow, Camel’s Hump Nordic, Catamount Trail) in Vermont. We are 15 minutes from Richmond and Hinesburg, 20 minutes from Mad River Glen, and just a half hour from Burlington. The site does get cell reception, but the cabin has no electricity or other facilities, so all waste must be packed out. We provide a bucket commode, but please bring your own trash bags to pack out all waste.

The small 8' x 8' cabin includes a queen bed with a mattress protector (you provide your own linens, blankets, and pillows), a small wood stove, and a bedside table. The large windows overlook the falls, and you’ll fall asleep to the sound of the waterfalls and brook. There are drawers for storage under the bed. The site is accessed by a gravel driveway off a Class 4 road, and you can park close to the site. In winter, when there is snow on the ground, the Class 4 road isn’t plowed past the bridge, so you’ll need to walk in—about 50 yards from the parking area. Firewood is provided for the wood stove. The site is near our home (about 100 meters away through the woods) but is relatively private. It’s within a short drive or bike ride to some of the best mountain biking and hiking (Camel’s Hump, Mount Abe) and cross-country skiing (Sleepy Hollow, Camel’s Hump Nordic, Catamount Trail) in Vermont. We are 15 minutes from Richmond and Hinesburg, 20 minutes from Mad River Glen, and just a half hour from Burlington. The site does get cell reception, but the cabin has no electricity or other facilities, so all waste must be packed out. We provide a bucket commode, but please bring your own trash bags to pack out all waste.

The site is located on a lovely mountain brook in Huntington. The small 8' x 8' cabin includes a queen bed with a mattress protector (you provide your own linens, blankets, and pillows), a small wood stove, and a bedside table. The large windows overlook the falls, and you’ll fall asleep to the sound of the waterfalls and brook. There are drawers for storage under the bed. The site is accessed by a gravel driveway off a Class 4 road, and you can park close to the site. In winter, when there is snow on the ground, the Class 4 road isn’t plowed past the bridge, so you’ll need to walk in—about 50 yards from the parking area. Firewood is provided for the wood stove. The site is near our home (about 100 meters away through the woods) but is relatively private. It’s within a short drive or bike ride to some of the best mountain biking and hiking (Camel’s Hump, Mount Abe) and cross-country skiing (Sleepy Hollow, Camel’s Hump Nordic, Catamount Trail) in Vermont. We are 15 minutes from Richmond and Hinesburg, 20 minutes from Mad River Glen, and just a half hour from Burlington. The site does get cell reception, but the cabin has no electricity or other facilities, so all waste must be packed out. We provide a bucket commode, but please bring your own trash bags to pack out all waste.

Wonderfully warm and curated cozy cabin! It was a wet, chilly, late fall weekend and we were so comfortable in Robbin’s tiny house. Everything was just as described and we likewise had everything + more we needed. Really enjoyed the sound system and super appreciated the ample water provided. Love the added space of the lofted bed. The pull down ladder went with the overall fun, creative vibe of the spot. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!

We enjoyed the horse run in! The run in was clean and had everything we needed. Very much enjoyed the wood burning stove, hot tub, and fire pit. We found the dvd player, books, and record player charming. The farm is beautiful and we enjoyed the town of Londonderry. While the listed rules were a bit overwhelming, Ben and Loana were very kind and hospitable and easy to deal with (it was only surprising bc the rules had set a bit of a different tone). I would highly recommend.

As far as we know, this land has been occupied since shortly after the civil war.  It is actually two farms, combined into one around 1900. The main farmhouse was built out of the logs they cleared in 1879, and there are old foundations of the other original farm houses/barns as well.  All over the property (now woods) there are piles of stones that the original inhabitants pulled from the fields. The second farm house was built in 1901. Most of the total 240 acres were cleared pasture land at that time.  During the twenties and thirties the property was owned by an industrious couple from the City that lovingly turned it into more of a "rustic retreat"; damming a pond, planting ornamentals and upgrading the buildings.  There have been many owners over the years, but we are proud to say it has been with us the longest.  Our family bought it in 1961 and we have been trying to be good stewards ever since.  Come and visit our little patch of wilderness!

The river house is an off grid house/cabin on 20 acres surrounded by thousands of acres of protected national forest. It is a half mile hike-in or 4 wheel drive in up a logging road. It is very private, with running water and a shower and 1 1/2 bathrooms, a loft, 2 bedrooms and ping pong table. A stream runs through the property that has small swimming holes and larger swimming holes are just a short drive away. Hikes galore are just out the door, and many many more are just a short drive away.

This was built as a personal vacation retreat and we gladly share it now with adventurers and romantics! 40 Private Acres - Fire-pits, comfortable outdoor furniture, and plenty of room to roam will make this unique stay memorable, relaxing, with absolute privacy with stunning views. The bespoke wooden Tower boasts 360 degree views of the surroundings. It is built on piers and has windows on the perimeter. A large table, outdoor chairs on the 2nd Level platform is an ideal space for gathering or picnicking. The 3rd enclosed level is furnished with a built in brand new queen bed and long custom built-in couch with a bar table and 4 chairs. Small fridge and Fan on site. No Bathroom in Tower. The Cabin is fully equipped, applianced, and is furnished with a Full Bed in the Loft, 2 Twins in a Trundle Daybed, and a Cot and Blow Up are available. Full Kitchen, Shower, Toilet in the Bathroom. There is electric heat, AC and a ceiling fan. Kitchen is fully loaded and there are plenty of clean linens, blankets, and pillows. The 40 Acres are Pastured and Open but Wooded all around in every direction. There are no cut trails at the Retreat and as it is thickly wooded, we encourage our guests to come visit us at Slateville Farm where we have over 8 miles of our own trails, swimming holes, and our ever flowing cold spring. Enjoy any of the many national park trails within the Green Mountains or Adirondacks. Lake George, Merck Forest, Schroon Lake, Lake St. Catherine, Bomoseen are all nearby as well as the Battenkill River and the Mettowee for fishing. If you are a winter visitor, plenty of ski resorts are a little over an hour away like Stratton, Bromely, Okemo, or Killington to name a few. Come by and visit us down the road at Slateville Farm to enjoy our fresh produce/eggs, over 8 miles of private hiking trails, and numerous swimming holes. This property is part of an original hundred acre woods in the Adirondack Park overlooking Lincoln Pond. My grandfather moved an old ice house under the property in 1943 and built the existing camp in 1949. Her family lives in Florida and has continued to maintain and improve the old camp for the last 40 years. After having done selective logging two years ago we discovered a spot in the back of the property overlooking the pond and with the removal of a couple of trees have a beautiful view of Lincoln Pond. The deck with the Yurt is the beginning of an eventual cabin. I live in the main house from late May until late October and decided to share it with like minded nature loving folks. It’s a 1/2 mile hike from the parking lot with total privacy.Learn more about this land:Located on top of a hill on a 100 acre wildlife sanctuary overlooking Lincoln Pond and the Adirondack High Peaks. Private Yurt on wooden deck with solar shower and water pumped up from nearby creek. Access from parking area over old logging road by SUV or ATV or a 12 minute hike from the parking area. 15 minute drive to numerous Adirondack hiking trails. Enjoy starry nights with a Biolite Bonfire. Two twin air beds and one king air bed. Bring your sleeping bags. Glamping at its best!

We've been farming here for 22 years, growing 5 acres of vegetables and flowers, all marketed within 50 miles of the farm. The farm sits on 90 acres right up against the Hogbacks and is only 5 miles from quaint Bristol village and tons of outdoor recreation opportunities. Our cozy, private, rustic mountain yurt is a 30’ foot space located in an upper field tucked into a wooded hillside. Views facing east are great for watching the sunrise and a kitchen and outhouse mean you’ve got everything you need to get out of town for a few days.* The location provides a serene, intimate getaway for couples, artists or anyone looking for a bit of mindful downtime and introspection.
