Site 1 (with entrance 70 yards south of the farmhouse) is best for camping in with up to 20 foot trailers or multiple tents …on the large flat spaces in the 25 acre field to choose from. Great Well water available near farmhouse. Biodegradable soaps Only if used in the ponds. Double Olympic sized Swim Pond we stock with Rainbow Trout to keep clear. We have been advised Not to allow imported firewood (can import Wood Beetle dangerous for our forest). - PLEASE use the Firewood bundle tubs we provide ($12.50) - pick up at the farmhouse or pull wood from the woods (and make it safer for use). The Guilford Fairgrounds is less than 1/4 mile away and has many hiking and biking trails. The land was originally part of a colonial Glebe Trust with the Church of England and divided up, the original 100+ year farmhouse and barn can be seen from many of the campsites. Guilford, Vermont is located in the southeast of Windham County, resting along the Massachusetts border to the south and New Hampshire not far to the east. A community with a long and interesting history, Guilford was actually Vermont’s largest town as long ago as 1790. Now, with a population of about 2,100, its by no means considered a large community yet with its beautiful old covered bridges, churches, and one-room schoolhouse, Guilford maintains an unmistakable sense of history while at the same time having a reputation as one of the truly unique small communities in southern Vermont. Guilford has some of the most quintessential small town landmarks in all of Vermont. Sites like the Christ Church, Broad Brook House, and Guilford Center Meeting House were all built in the early 19th Century and are now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. My land is easily accessible by main road, has ample parking, and yet cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, wildlife, fireflies and peepers are just outside the door. In the summer season, several organic farmstands and local picturesque swimming holes range between 5-15 minutes away. Autumn's glorious show is on display everywhere you look. Winter offers easy access to groomed VAST trails in the field behind the house and studio. Hopkins Center, AVA Gallery, the Lebanon Opera House, Northern Stage, and a wide array of restaurants are within 20 minutes. The Lyme bridge is now open, so there are more restaurants, trails, activities and the Dartmouth Skiway! Despite the proximity to town and even to my home, the simple studio space is serene in its sumac baby forest. The space is one of a kind, with a giant salvaged chapel window, cathedral ceilings, a candelabra, a clawfoot tub, a quirky outhouse, on-demand hot water, electricity and wifi. The site lists that it sleeps 4? But three is more realistic, and I cannot seem to change it. Weekend Trip to Bent Apple Farm

Perfect snow get away. Wood burning stove and heater kept us warm, even with just one. Enjoyed listening and looking through the vinyls. Loved the hot tub after a long day of hiking and the comfy bed. The cabin was cute and felt very lived in. It was a nice surprise to see a journal of how many people stayed there, especially during Covid, very lovely notes people left! Only down side - couldn’t stop sneezing at times, lots of dust in the crevices of the wood floor and fabric. Also wish there was a bit more privacy at the door and hot tub, could see the guest next door. Overall definitely would recommend and stay again!

This was my second time staying at Mary's marvelous Kula Bata Tiny Cabin. It is such a peaceful palace that makes it easy to unplug and recharge, and the infrared sauna is such a treat! Mary is always so kind, attentive and responsive to any questions or concerns that arose before or during our stay. I cannot wait to return again in the near future!

Gorgeous location! What a cool spot. Directions brought us right up the road that runs between the two main houses- Your classic white antique farmhouse on the left & the newer house on the right. Just past the house & down around back, we loaded up 2 big bins of firewood & headed down the hill to the campsite entrance on the right. There are 2 ponds along the road where RV's & vans can park, no fire pits, & kind of out in the open for us. The lower pond & camp site was lovely, but little tricky to get our little schoolie parked in close to the fire pit area, plus it was a bit wet & mushy, (understandably, in late November) so we decided to walk down & see if there was a dryer option. We found a few more drive-in campsites each with picnic tables, fire pits, a little outhouse & level, nicely woodchipped, tent spots. It's all pretty obviously marked with painted signs & little solar lights. Its adorable. We parked our bus down there since it was cold as heck & we wanted to be very close to a bonfire! This area was also more private, in the edge of the woods under the trees. We had the whole place to ourselves. We had a huge bonfire, while it lightly snowed. Beautiful.

Mary is an exceptional host—warm, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in creating a magical experience for her guests. Thank you, Mary, for opening your beautiful space to us! One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the pizza oven. It was such a hit—easy to use, incredibly fun, and the perfect activity to bring everyone together. We made some truly delicious creations and shared plenty of laughs around it. We also loved the variety of sleeping options throughout the property. With so many different configurations, everyone in our group found a cozy, comfortable place to settle in. It made the whole weekend feel relaxed, flexible, and tailored to us. We enjoyed the horse run in! The run in was clean and had everything we needed. Very much enjoyed the wood burning stove, hot tub, and fire pit. We found the dvd player, books, and record player charming. The farm is beautiful and we enjoyed the town of Londonderry. While the listed rules were a bit overwhelming, Ben and Loana were very kind and hospitable and easy to deal with (it was only surprising bc the rules had set a bit of a different tone). I would highly recommend.

Staying in Oma’s cabin was beautiful. The cabin feels handmade down to the smallest detail. You can feel the hosts’ Erin and Philip’s care in everything about the place. Excellent kitchen set up with everything necessary to cook meals and clean up. The stove kept the cabin warm and comfortable when it was cold and windy outside. Luna the dog came by to say hi. Fire pit is great for having a fire under the stars. Walking distance to a great hiking trail. Really just a perfect off-grid cabin in the woods.

The cabin/library was cozy, the tipi was super cool and bigger than I expected it to be. Bring a sleeping pad, the ones in the library were a little thin. Beautiful and very private site.
