Often described as being the most relaxing, romantic, dreamy and unique farm you'll ever stay in!!! Bent apple farm is natures perfect scape, thanks to my husband and I efforts to create a sanctuary to share with others. From apple trees, beautiful pond and a rustic cabins. Our farm is at the edge of VT natural forest, with often gifts us the visit of wild deers, moose and turkeys. Please come prepared with a vehicle and shoes that are suited for the season of your arrival (mud, snow and ice) for both our property and the town road we live on. Checking in during daylight hours is advised. Nearby, the town of Woodstock in only minutes away with cute shops and restaurants. There are many local hikes, national and state parks, the Quechee Gorge, white water rapids, The VAST (snowmobile trails), ski resorts and array of local events to attend.

Wise Pines was a lovely off-the-beaten-track place to stay near Woodstock. Incredibly comfortable bed and clean amenities. My dog and I enjoyed walking the beautiful gravel road and hanging out in the common space by the fireplace. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful private site surrounded by trees. My kids loved the tent, the little play area, the animals, the trampoline. Pretty much all of it! We slept quite well. There is a lumberyard nearby that produces a low constant hum. I got used to it but just fyi that it's not complete silence. The toilet is tucked into the trees with a privacy screen.

This spot is definitely hidden little gem. It's like camping without all the gear! I really enjoyed the private aspect of this glamping experience, unlike most places I've camped which are surrounded by other people. The views were beautiful, the star gazing was perfection and having a fire pit with seating and a table and chairs was a really nice touch. All you really need is your bedding, some lighting and your adventurous spirit! The area is great for exploring and so many great swimming spots. It's was the perfect romantic getaway that my partner and I needed. We will definitely be back!

This place was lovely. Exactly what I expected from a place on HipCamp. The photos are accurate and Loana was easy to communicate with. We literally saw no one, and it’s a short distance to a grocery store if you need it, and many amazing hikes. If you love cooking like we do, make sure you bring the essentials, but the gas stove was awesome and there was plenty of fridge space (bring ice if you need it!) Would 100 percent stay again.

Beautiful mini home with plenty of great amenities (hot tub, sauna, fire pit, kitchen, showers). Home is in a private area with great view of the nearby mountains and Vermont nature. It was easy to find during our visit (June), and served as a great "home base" for nearby activities.

The treehouse and surrounding area were exactly as pictured and even better in person. The water pressure in the outdoor shower was very impressive. If you're wondering whether or not to book it, go for it! The center of Putney and Brattleboro were so easy to access for restaurants and kayaking and returning to the site in the evening to make dinner and relax was absolutely serene and wonderful.

We had a great stay here. The yurt was spacious, remote, and comfortable, and Shannah had everything very thoughtfully prepared for us when we arrived. The bedding was comfortable. There was plenty of firewood for a nice campfire and there was a nice welcome basket with many helpful things in it. We'll definitely stay here again. It is a quiet and relaxing place to stay.

This treehouse is so cozy! The weather during my trip was colder & snowier than I anticipated, so while I didnt explore the trails on the property, this was the perfect place to hunker down with a book in the peaceful quiet of nature. The whole space is so thoughtfully and soulfully designed that it just feels good being there.

5 nights at Wise Pines

We had a fun time at the treehouse, exploring Woodstock and Quechee region. It was quiet and cozy. We had the place to ourselves pretty much, but Chelsey and John are great hosts. John even helped us with our tire! Not something you'd get at a Holiday Inn ;) Chelsey's book and story about hiking the AT was very inspirational to us. We also enjoyed her yoga class; it relaxed us. The place had everything we needed and was easy to navigate. I'd say it was one of the best places we've stayed on vacation.
