Absolutely wonderful experience. Me and my partener stayed on this lovely property in one of the two vintage Airstream trailers right on the shore of our fantastic host's wildlife filled pond. Our host and hostess were both very hospitable, and checked in on us regularly, while still oversight complete privacy. The amenities included were above and beyond what we were expecting, making the experience not only fun, but leisurely. Would 100% recommend giving this "glampsite" a shot, if you happen to be in the area.

Camping on Carol and Marty's land was wonderful! The site was very private, yet very close to everything in town. We were able to hear the hot air balloons starting up in the morning for the festival! The bathroom and cabin were quite welcome and they had everything we needed. Very thankful for Marty and his warm welcome, along with the pups. Anyone who can would be lucky to stay here!

Perfect spot in Quechee. This was glamping at its finest. Carol and Marty rigged up a series of hoses so that there was a kitchen sink and a refillable solar shower. The cabin was comfy and even had battery powered lights. We will definitely stay again when we're back that way.

Mike was friendly and attentive. The pizza oven worked out wonderfully and the barn was perfect for the night. We played records and read to the sounds of the rain with the big door open.

This was one of my favorite camping experiences ever! The Little Cabin was charming and super comfortable, the grounds were beautiful, and the toilets were among the cleanest outdoor facilities I’ve ever used—bonus points for the complementary hygiene products, which were a very thoughtful and nice touch. I hope to have the opportunity to come back soon and bring along some of my favorite people to share in the experience!

Weekend Trip to Timbertrail Farm

My group was initially considering camping at Mike’s, but due to some rain and opting to travel more lightly without any camp gear, we went for the barn lodging for one night. Mike graciously checked in to ask if we’d be bringing any camp gear for the barn and let us know that they updated the bed to a queen size rather than the two twin beds that were depicted in the listing. Since we weren’t planning on bringing any gear, Mike kindly left some blankets and extra pillows for us and let us know he’d be out of town while we were there. It was a comfy stay after a long day of driving. We really enjoyed Mike’s record collection! The following morning, we met the chickens along with Mike, letting us know we were welcome to check out at any time. We were on our way to a hike in Green Mountain National Forest (highly recommend Lye Brook Falls). If we find ourselves back up this way, we will certainly check out Mike’s campsite next time! Thank you so much for the accommodations and a great first experience with Hipcamp!

Everything was perfect and well taken care of. The cabin was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The showers and outhouse were very close to cabin. I have to say, the outhouse was the best rustic design I’ve seen. The grounds were so peaceful and private. We didn’t use the tent sites but they looked perfect also. It’s very relaxed there. Very few demands of the guests. The trails lead right from the door and were well planned, extensive and had something for all levels. They were scenic, technical. expansive. Trails for days. We will be going back.

We loved this sweet little cabin on Caitrin and Hardy’s gorgeous property. The bed was comfy and having mini fridge, power outlets and a hot water kettle made are our “camping” weekend feel luxurious. We loved the big windows and waking up to beautiful nature right outside the door as well as the direct access to the Slate Valley mountain biking trails. Can’t wait for our next stay here!

We had a great stay here. The yurt was spacious, remote, and comfortable, and Shannah had everything very thoughtfully prepared for us when we arrived. The bedding was comfortable. There was plenty of firewood for a nice campfire and there was a nice welcome basket with many helpful things in it. We'll definitely stay here again. It is a quiet and relaxing place to stay.

We are a maple sugar, beautiful farm with a majestic view of the mountains and sunsets. We have 4 sites for tents. There are 2 sites available along the west side of our maple forest, beautiful sunset views. . Also, 2 sites on the north side , with awesome morning sunrises glistening across the meadow. These 2 site can be excellent for parties of 6-10 with several tents. Sunset views are only 100 ft away. We have set up 1 tent at Mount Diiablo, including a cot, on the lower side of our property, Bring a bed roll, or we can provide a sleeping bag for a small extra fee. Our cabin at Kozy Korner is popular for those that want the rustic life but a little comfort. It has a double bed , made up with sheets and pillows. Also, a single cot that can be used as well. One should follow the “ tent sites” sign, drive up hill. After 2 tent sites, you will see the cabin, Just 150 steps away from our driveway, across the street ( before the black mail box) there is access to a refreshing swim hole in the Poultney River . Verlaska Farm is approx 2 miles to the Fairgrounds trailhead of Slate Valley Trails. Our farm is 2 1/2 miles from Poultney Village, where there are restaurants and a couple of awesome pubs! (Poultney Pub and Toads Burger Bar). Restaurants , Rail Trail Eatery and Perry’s , also have delicious food. Lake St Catherine is a “ stones throw” away, approx. 4 1/2 miles. Lake Bomoseen is a distance of 10 miles. Our amenities include hot shower, bike rinse off station, charging devices station, port a potty, communal campfire, propane grill , paper plates and cutlery and seasonings. Picnic tables at all sites, chairs at all sites, tiki torches at all sites.

We are usually adults only, but if you are 100% responsible parents we're welcoming to families as scheduling allows. Our main focus is to get Shit Done, improving the resort, building out hiking trails, etc. This is currently a "minimalist" camping experience, if you pack it in, please pack it out. There is a solar powered extension cord outlet to charge or power small devices when the sun allows. We have a composting pit toilet with small changing tent over it for privacy. Sprinkle ash from bucket on your poop and cover with dirt. BYO-TP Plenty of pine firewood to burn has fallen in the woods. Only if wind is low or nonexistent. Dispersed camping available in the pine forest anywhere around the parking areas and further into the woods, and along the creek you crossed near the CAT Excavator. The creek is available to dip into at specific times of the year, usually only a foot or so deep unless there was a torrential rain, where it can get 3-4 ft deep at places. There's plenty of forest and streams to explore and camp out further if you want to hike farther from the parking areas into the woods to camp. Please don't get lost! We can show you a few spots to choose from when you arrive based on your wants. We can accommodate large parties of campers. Nudity is allowed anywhere on the property but not directly on the shared driveway and next to neighbors property. Our neighbors are further down the road with an animal sanctuary so you may hear roosters, horses, etc. when they're hungry. Forest Hut in Western Mass

Come stay on our quiet and scenic farm. Easily accessible from Rt 89 and Rt 4. Our Pick Your Own Blueberry fields open in July. Clay Hill Corners is a 10 acre working Blueberry Farm. We have PYO Blueberries and a farm stand open from mid July to August. We sell organically grown blueberries and produce locally. Learn more about this land: Our private Sugar Shack is at the end of our blueberry fields and faces the forest. The Sugar Shack sleeps two in a comfy double bed with clean sheets and a fleece blanket. I wash the linens and blanket in hot water for each and every booking. Please bring your own extra blankets or sleeping bag if the weather is cold. An additional clean quilt with duvet cover can be added for a $ 10 per booking fee. There is a small porch, a charcoal grill, four chairs, a hammock, a fire ring, fire wood, clean potable cold water, a solar shower, and an outhouse. We provide the firewood for the fire ring and we provide charcoal and lighter fluid for the charcoal grill. There is space available next to Sugar Shack in the field for additional tents or small RVs. (There is no electricity.) The upcharge for additional campers after the first two people is $5 per person per night. Hiking trails through field and forest start at your door. We have a 3 mile round trip hike to Harlow Brook with a map. We are on the edge of a wildlife corridor and often see deer, coyotes, fox, waterfowl, songbirds and the occasional bear. (Keep food in your car at night so that the bear does not eat it!) We are above the Ottauquechee River at North Hartland Lake. We have rentable canoes and a kayak. We can transport you to and pick you up for a canoe trip on the Connecticut River or to North Hartland Lake.. We are located two miles from Quechee, 7 miles from historic Woodstock to the west, and 7 miles to hip White River Junction to the east and 8 1/2 miles to Dartmouth College and the Appalachian Trail. There are fun casual restaurants with some sit down and take-out nearby and our local Jakes Market can provide you with a nice selection of groceries. Hot Air Balloon pilots often take off and land in our fields and it is always a magical site. We can connect you with local pilots if you wish to purchase a Balloon Adventure.

Come experience a romantic, private four season yurt experience in a secluded piece of nature on our 14 acre property, enveloped by a variety of tall trees and distant view of the farms pasture and barn. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway for two, a family or group experience, the yurt provides 492 sq. ft. of comfortable space with top quality amenities, including Wi-Fi, and is available for all seasons: rain, snow or sunshine. There is a viewable pond and two running brooks on the property. We have Nigerian Dwarf goats, numerous chicken breeds and ducks. When we are available, you may interact with the farm animals if desired. The small town of Mason has a number of homesteads/farms nearby, a fine dining restaurant, a Maple House and restaurant, a venue for live concerts of talented singers/bands, and a swimmable quarry. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION IN FULL BEFORE BOOKING WITH US. BOOKING THE PROPERTY ARE ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND RULES. Be mindful that we have multiple animals on our little farm including a barn cat, dog, goats, chickens, and ducks. As such, you may hear animal noises. However, the barn is approximately 400 feet away from the yurt where most of the animals stay. We have made extensive efforts to make your stay as comfortable as possible. However, the Yurt is a “Glamping” (Glorified Camping) experience. As such, here are some following considerations before you decide to book our yurt: 1. The walkway from the parking area to the yurt is approximately 150 yards long over a grassy path that can be wet, uneven and in the winter covered with snow or ice. Wear appropriate footwear. 2. The yurt is heated by a wood stove. You will need to build a fire and maintain it in the wood stove to keep warm in the winter months. We provide the tools, the wood and the training for those who need it. If you are away from the yurt all day, you will need to restart the fire to get the yurt back to a comfortable temperature. 3. Yurt guests exclusively have access to the outhouse lavatory for all bathroom needs. We utilize a composting bag/toilet in the outhouse, and guests must follow the posted instructions related to its use. 4. The outhouse is NOT insulated. It can be cold in the winter. 5. The outdoor shower is available for guest use during the warm months (approximately May through October, or when outdoor temperatures are consistently above freezing). There is a water hose with shower spray nozzle and solar shower bags for warmer water at the shower stall. 6. We DO NOT have hot running water at the yurt. There is up to an 18 gallon container over the sink for cleansing needs, washing dishes, etc…Refills may be required. Guests may boil water in the kettle for hot water needs. 7. Guests are welcome to use all items in the kitchen. The kitchen has all of your cooking needs. 8. The yurt is located on a farm. Although unlikely, guests may encounter associated sounds and smells related to raising animals during their stay with us. If you proceed to book a stay, you can expect to have a unique lodging experience that will detach you from the routine and reconnect you to nature and those you are experiencing it with. Careful consideration has been taken to design and furnish the space to provide you with a comfortable, memorable experience. From the artistic pieces, to the cozy bed and lounge chairs, cast iron wood stove, air conditioner and outdoor fire-pit; to name a few. Clean towels, linens, robes and slippers (robes and slippers are provided during the winter months and slippers are for you to keep) are provided, and there are extra blankets stored in the chest and round stools for those extra cold nights. The composting outhouse is just a few steps away from the door. It has a skylight and a solar lamp during night time hours. The yurt area is private, but you may experience wildlife such as deer, fox, bunny or other sightings. You may see our goats in the fenced pasture from a healthy distance, but you may choose to approach them at the fence, if desired. You will get a sense of what homesteading life is like in rural New Hampshire. Cell carriers may be spotty. AT&;T works best. Wi-Fi is provided with speeds up to 140 mbps. Currently there isn't a television provided. You may bring a laptop or other screened device to stream your favorite television shows. You must provide your own subscription account/login. DOGS: When you book, please confirm these rules and be sure your reservation includes your pup. > One dog maximum > Your dog is at least one year old and FULLY potty trained > He or she gets along with other dogs - we have a dog and cat here > Dog stays off all furniture - this is important to us and to our future guests; please note that we charge a minimum additional $250 cleaning fee if this rule is broken > Please bring bags and pick up waste > Dog stays with you when you go out and is not left alone in the space COLD SEASON VISITORS: In your reservation request, please acknowledge you have read and understood the three important points below. The yurt is a wonderful and cozy place to be in the cold season. That said, there are some unique aspects to staying in the yurt during winter that you should review and feel good about: 1. Making fire in a wood stove is an enjoyable feeling, AND, you must do it well in order to stay warm. If you have never worked with a wood stove before, plan on reading the detailed instructions we have left you. We would also highly recommend you come before dark rather than late at night. 2. There is a lovely outdoor shower space outside the yurt, next to the outhouse. It is useable anytime during the year; however, during the cold months it will likely be intolerable. We DO NOT have running water to the shower space area. During the warmer months of the year, solar water shower bags are provided. Soap and Towels are provided. 3. The yurt is about 400 feet (a 2 minute flat walk) from your parking spot. That said, it's an easy walk. WHAT TO BRING: We provide all bedding, linens, pillows, towels, robes and slippers (robes and slippers are provided during winter months only and slippers are for you to keep). We provide all of the basic bbq/cooking supplies. There is a coffee/Nespresso machine provided, including coffee and coffee pods, snacks and fresh farm eggs when in season. We encourage you to bring appropriate clothing and foot wear for the season you visit, including jackets, shoes, beach towels if you will be swimming in the summer, slippers and cozy layers for the cold months, and foods and drinks (coffee is provided). If you are interested in streaming your favorite shows, we recommend you bring your screened devices (i.e. laptop). SUMMER VISITORS: We can provide suggestions in our area for great hikes, swimming holes, paddling spots, and the best ice cream stands. There is a viewable pond on the property; however, there is No Swimming allowed in the pond. The yurt has a window A/C and high velocity fan to keep you cooler during the hot summer months.
