in the Greater Zion National Park area.
Kolob Campground is located adjacent to the Kolob Reservoir boat ramp and dock, including four acres of private shoreline. Just a few feet from the paved road, nestled in tall aspen, oak,
and pine trees.
Access to potable water is available adjacent to camp, and public restrooms (vault toilets) are only a short walk from camp.
WiFi access is available nearby at Kolob Adventure Rentals/Adventure Beach (3 minute walk). WiFi location and password provided by host upon request. This is an exclusive benefit available to our guests, and the only WiFi available to campers in the area.

Greetings! Welcome to Arrowhead Campground! Arrowhead Campground is roughly 5 acres of land, sitting right in Monument Valley, Utah. Come stay with us to experience one of the most amazing views in the world! You'll get to experience a full 360 degree view of all the towering red sandstone buttes and mesas. This is great for capturing the best views in the area. You'll experience breathtaking sunsets and sunrises right from your campsite. Great for pictures and photoshoots. The campground offers one of the largest shade structures in the area, with durable white picnic tables. We do allow campfires, so there is a fire-pit for that. The campground is only 2 1/2 miles away from the tribal park and 1 1/4 miles from the nearest highway. It's tucked away and secluded from noise and light pollution. The stars at night are bright and shinny, so you can pitch your tent right underneath them. With that said, Arrowhead Campground will be one of the best campgrounds you'll ever stay at. Welcome to 34 acres of private, high-altitude mountain land along Ant Flats Road — a quiet, secluded escape where guests can spread out, breathe, and enjoy the Wasatch backcountry without crowds, noise, or neighbors. This is a private, gated property, and campers will have the entire assigned camping area to themselves.
A small portion of the acreage serves as the central area for the property and is occasionally used by the owners for personal use.
The owners keep an RV in their area and have two outbuildings used for storing equipment and supplies.
The tent area does not have electricity, water, or restroom facilities. Water is available at the main area. Generators may be available as an add-on rental. Campers can often charge electronics when the generator at the main area is running. Internet access can be intermittent, although the main camp area has Starlink available to rent on a daily basis or use in emergencies.
There are also several recreational opportunities available to campers. Guests can enjoy a small 8-hole disc golf course, as well as a small rifle range and archery range. The land is made up of sagebrush and a few small stands of quaking aspen trees. There are many hiking trails with easy access from Moose Flats, along with numerous side-by-side and ATV trails throughout the area.
This land is ideal for:

Conveniently located just a couple minutes off Highway 89, this is the perfect stop over between Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. You will have access to the multi-acre campground where you can choose which tent site or RV site you prefer. We DO allow no hook-up camping vans in our tent sites. Two of our four new RV sites have full hook-ups (sites 3 & 4), the other two (sites 1 & 2) have water and power hookups only. All sites are equipped with 30 & 50 amp breakers
You will have access to the large pavilion for gathering, cooking or shelter from the elements. You also have access to the clean bath house, equipped with two shower rooms (with on-demand hot water) and flushable toilets. As an added bonus, you will have access to the ponds, you may use the boat, canoe or kayaks, you can also catch and release fish if you have your own fishing equipment. (Keep a fish or accidental kill for a fee.) If interested in booking a fishing experience, please reach out to us for more details.
There are seven available tent sites and four available RV sites with hookups. No beds or tents are provided. Please plan to bring your own camping supplies. Common spaces including the pavilion and bath house are shared with all campground guests.

The Moab Field Office, administered by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), takes up 1.8 million acres of gorgeous canyon-riddled lands. Spend your days hunting for natural arches and bridges, exploring mesas, and contemplating how the heck rocks can look so crazy. BLM lands are also fantastic base camps for forays into nearby Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. There are 26 campgrounds, and you can usually find something even on the busiest of weekends (but, if you can swing it, it’s always best to arrive early). River recreation on the Colorado and Green Rivers is another major draw. The Five Kiva Ruin and Nations Natural Bridge are within hiking distance. Minutes away is the town of Blanding with restaurants, hospital, gas stations and a dump station.
Its only a short drive to five different National Monuments: Bears Ears, Natural Bridges, Rainbow Bridge, Hovenweep, and Canyon of The Ancients. Take a scenic drive over the Blue Mountain and Elk Ridge.
Southeastern Utah is full of archeology history to hike and explore.

This Outpost and campground is located on 300 acres of private property surrounded by park and public land. It has been here for over 30 years in some form or another. We are Caleb & Amber who enjoyed managing this little oasis in the middle of the desert from March to June of 2017 when we decided to purchase the business & make it our own. This is a dry, rugged campground with a bathhouse that provides coin operated showers and flush toilets. In addition there is little old rustic camp store placed in the middle of nowhere where we provide fuel, snacks, firewood, ice, showers, cold drinks & more.
If you are looking for a more private site with lots of space and shade, book our Small Group at the Rocks. For a warmer stay during the cooler months book one of our Glamping Tents listed. We have the larger, and spacious tent in the grove of the Juniper Trees (which is also amazing in the warmer season) and rent a heater from us inside the general/camp store. Please check with us on fire restrictions, hipcamp is often wrong on their assumptions, we rarely have fire restrictions.

This place was the perfect place for a bad camp to go out to see area attention, Zion, Bruce Canyon, Grand Canyon, etc. Griffin was a great host. Their office and restaurant are a work in progress. I’m anxious to see what they get done. The bathhouse was very clean. There was a cool little hike that adjoined the campground, Dinosaur Tracks. We loved the quaint little town, Kanab. Hope to visit again!!!

We loved everything about staying at Ruby’s Inn RV park and campground. We stayed in RV spot 95 which was picture perfect. It had power and water but not sewer, but sewer was easy and free to dump in the main dumping site, super close and convenient on your way in and out of the park. Spot 95 has its own little wooded area with a picnic table and fire pit. The public bathroom and showers were close by and really clean. The laundry was clean and had a ton of washers and dryers. It was really easy to pay for laundry with your phone. We walked to the cute shops across the street and to Ebenezer’s for dinner and music. The Bryce Canyon national Park shuttle is amazing and free and it stops right at Ruby’s. Cannot recommend Ruby’s highly enough.

What a treat. A small campground with about 15 campsites and 3 yurts. In a canyon of its own, surrounded on two sides by high red rock walls. Its entrance only a few feet away from the Dinosaur Trail. The sites are close but individualized, some have shade. The bathrooms are clean and so are the showers that always have hot water. The hosts respond quickly and are very helpful. They are new owners and are doing a great job! A great basecamp or place to relax. Hope to come back some day.

We booked Water Canyon 3 nights for its photo reinforced location which was conveniently between the 5 nights Nevada’s Valley of Fire and the next 7 at Tuweep. The “van site” was recommended and was perfect for our pop-up truck camper. We were impressed with the campground layout which caters to walk-ins and the building that we replace the portapotty with toilets and, an amenity never seen, showers. When that’s complete and presumably water available with another van site or two, I expect booking Water Camp won’t be as easy as it was this time.. Tree shade in the spectacular red canyon,, proximity to wilderness hiking trails, and 20 minutes to Bees Grocery Store makes this an excellent camping choice.

Stayed at Slackline Van Post during a busy holiday weekend when all the major campsites in Moab were booked and hotel prices were insanely overpriced. Honestly, it turned out to be a great alternative. The staff was super friendly, and the amenities were better than expected — clean showers, a nice pool, outdoor seating areas with fire pits, and adult beverages available when purchased with food.
The overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming, especially for van campers and travelers looking for something different than the typical crowded campground.
The only downside was the road noise at night. Since the property sits below the main road entering Moab — almost like in a little valley between the hotels and roadway — the sound of passing cars seemed amplified all night long. Ended up sleeping with noise-canceling earbuds... lol.
Also, make sure your reservation placard is clearly visible on your dashboard unless you want a surprise middle-of-the-night wake-up call. Apparently enforcement is serious there — two spots over from me it turned into a full episode of Cops with an employee knocking and yelling, asking if they were paid guests. Definitely entertaining… unless it’s your car they’re knocking on.
Overall though, I’d definitely stay again, especially during peak weekends when everything else is either sold out or ridiculously expensive.

This was a great little campground. Just off the highway so easy to find, but also quiet - I didn't notice any traffic noise. There are nice showers, some solar lights and firewood available to buy. There's a fun hike to see some dinosaur footprints. Very comfortable - I would definitely stay there again.

Stunning setting. Clean, inviting bathhouse very appreciated after a day of hiking. Quiet and pleasant. Undergoing renovation and will be a funky, fun place—has great potential. Currently very peaceful and well-maintained.

Nicely spaced out sites just a short drive to the national park. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and close to our RV space. The spots were also nicely spaced out. We had a fantastic stay and would stay again if we were in the area.

A very quirky well kept and managed little campground with a variety of accommodations and sites, from windowed geodesic domes to full hookup rv sites, an old westfalia (parked) you can rent and also tent sites. All in a beautiful setting with cliffs around and a hike to dinosaur tracks!!
