We are Caleb & Amber who enjoyed managing this little oasis in the middle of the desert from March to June of 2017 when we decided to purchase the business & make it our own. This is a dry, rugged campground with a bathhouse that provides coin operated showers and flush toilets. In addition there is little old rustic camp store placed in the middle of nowhere where we provide fuel, snacks, firewood, ice, showers, cold drinks & more. If you are looking for a more private site with lots of space and shade, book our Small Group at the Rocks. For a warmer stay during the cooler months book one of our Glamping Tents listed. We have the larger, and spacious tent in the grove of the Juniper Trees (which is also amazing in the warmer season) and rent a heater from us inside the general/camp store. Loved staying at Lynnellen’s Hipcamp so much that we extended our stay by two more nights mid-trip. She personally greets you, walks you through everything, and has created an incredibly thoughtful setup for travelers. In the evenings, she puts out sandwich fixings and keeps a fridge stocked with water bottles you can grab for your tent. Inside, there’s iced tea, ice, hot cocoa, and other small touches that make a big difference. Each camping space feels private while still being comfortable and well-equipped with real beds, clean sheets, power, and lighting. She even set out a telescope so guests can take in the night sky. Mornings shift into a bed-and-breakfast experience. Everyone gathers at a long table, talking and connecting, while Lynnellen cooks whatever you’re craving. There are around 20 hot cocoa flavors to choose from, which my daughter loved. She is an excellent cook and genuinely kind. There’s also a huge garden where you can pick fresh vegetables for a snack. What started as a simple place to sleep turned into one of the most memorable parts of our trip. It felt less like a campsite and more like a community. One camper even asked to take a photo with her, which says a lot. She also gave me great advice, and my daughter absolutely adored her.

Rubys was great and had wonderful facilities. The tipis were a wonderful surprise for our family and were very large and homey inside. You should know that the floors of the tipis are a little dusty because of the tipi structure but was not a problem. The quick access to Bryve Canyon was also great.

Love camping on this property the tent was lovely and set up for everything and more. The host stayed up very late to let us come stay with a last minute notice from our road trip. We stayed on the way to our destination and on the way back. We had to leave early each time so we didn’t have time to stay for the homemade breakfast but there was food set out the first stay in the morning, for early risers which we appreciated. Loved seeing the animals around and walking around the property. Thank you!

Weekend Trip to Sandy Beach

This tiny house my family rented was way cooler than we could have imagined. On the outside it looks small but inside is so roomy, comfortable, and somehow looks way bigger inside than out. Overlooks the beach and easy walk down to it. There were plenty of accommodations provided and just overall was a great time there. We plan to make this spot a tradition.

1 night at Wildland Gardens

This site was just perfect! I was on a road trip and needed a comfortable place to spend the night with my car in view since I had some valuables in there that were on the larger side. This was the perfect place to roll right up to my tent! Everything was very clean and comfortable!

2 nights at Ruby's Inn RV Park And Campground

Delightful. We really enjoyed our time in the cabins at Ruby's. Proximity and time into the park was a huge plus by both car and shuttle; easy walk through the grass and across the large road. And while the pool was closed it appears to be nice and well maintained. The store and laundry facilities felt very clean and new; and the bathhouse was also quite clean and in good condition. These amenities are quite a bit of a walk (or mini drive) from the cabin area. And though the cabins are located next to some group campsites, we were never disturbed by them. Occasionally had to deal with "cut through" traffic next to the cabin area as people were driving to the main lodge located across the way from the cabins. It is a little walk from the cabins to the dedicated kitchen wash sink area (on the far side of the pool's bathhouse). The cabin restrooms are shared with the pool, so I imagine that they can get quite busy during pool season. Cabin was clean and comfy- though tight for more than 2 + bags. Top bunk close to ceiling! Did have an issue with a/c unit the first two nights, and had to fish partially burnt aluminum cans and trash out of the firepit. Cabin parking is tight between units so if you drive something larger than we did (Outback) grab the cabin closest to the driveway leading to the cabins. Bonus: it's quite a large tourist development and we were thrilled to find large bays for vehicle washing at the gas station and free air! Would definitely return.

1 night at Teardrop Arch B&B

The view is beautifull. There is firepit in front of the cabin and a barbeque. You can eat sausages and watch stars and mountains. The cabin is cozy. Bathroom in main building nice and clean.
