Everfree Shire Ranch is an 11 acre estate nestled between quiet country houses and a very active horse ranch next door to the east. Rescue horses are also kept on the property in rotation. Much of the camping here is still a work in progress! So for now, a very private economical choice for campers! The central building has indoor lodging available and the side bathroom with indoor toilet / washer / dryer may be used by campers as well. A new outdoor shower is 95% complete and usable but swimwear is required because we have not finished filling in the slots between the wood fence panels.
The RV Dump station is also ready for use as well as the new outhouse! If you forgot to dump on the way out or need to before arriving, please use the free dump stations on I-35 near Natalia on either side of the highway.

Cool spot near tons of Texas’s beautiful nature spots to explore . This camp has cool accommodations and shared community spaces.
We stayed at campsite 1 and felt secluded and loved the clean tent pad sites. We also added firewood to our reservation and it was piled up nicely at campsite upon arrival. Great host.

Seco. campgrounds was so cute ! they have Wi-Fi with in the communal kitchen . The bathrooms are nearby and there are cute chickens and goats. Woody greeted us upon arrival and made sure that we were comfortable. I would def recommend this for a campgrounds close to Lost Maples

Thank you for sharing your paradise land with us. We loved the spacing between the camp sites and the available accommodations on your property. We always love our visits to Woody's place. This was our fourth year visiting and this time we brought my parents who absolutely loved it. We had so much privacy and loved the sunsets, quiet and views. We also loved walking to the main community area and catching some live music Saturday evening. Can't wait to be back next year.

We enjoyed our stay at Seco Ridge! The #1 secluded spot worked out well and was pretty private and quiet. We don't need all the common amenities provided but for those who do, its a nice option. There were a few times communication with the host was delayed, and while WiFi was available, the password was not posted. Otherwise, a great spot! Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely gorgeous area. I loved the ease of booking and getting to the campsite, and was very happy to see the chickens and a sweet cat when going to use the available restroom. Also was very pleased to see plenty of firewood at my site(since I chose the option to have it) thank you again! This was my second time here and I’m sure it won’t be the last :)

We had an absolutely amazing time! It was the perfect short trip from San Antonio — just far enough to escape the city, relax, and take in the beautiful night sky. The peaceful, natural setting made it easy to unwind and reconnect with nature. There are plenty of options for every kind of traveler, from traditional camping spots to cozy bungalows you can rent. This was mine and my husband’s second time visiting the Seco Ridge Campgrounds. This year we stayed in the Bunkhaus. Our best friend and my cousin also joined us for the adventure. The Bunkhaus is nothing short of incredible. It’s more of a tiny home with an awesome patio area with fun lighting, games, and luxury lounging. A HUGE storm came in while we were there and the Haus had no leaks, nothing like that- it is a true experience. The interior is gorgeous with drywall and recess lighting. The bed was incredibly comfy. Owners Woody and Elaine were so very accommodating and kind. They got us fresh firewood and even fresh eggs from the ground’s chickens! In the Haus, there’s a microwave and large mini fridge for snacks and the grounds have a communal fire pit, swings, outdoor kitchen, running water, hot showers and toilets- I have to wear orthodics temporarily which makes it difficult for me to walk and Woody and Elaine set up a chemical toilet right outside the door of the Haus for me. INCREDIBLY accommodating. The Seco Ridge campground itself is the only place I have ever seen the Milky Way with the naked eye. I do astronomy photography and I was able to take some incredible photos. My family and I sang karaoke outside up to quiet hours time at 11, and had an overall BLAST! The Haus is air conditioned, heated, and has just the quaintest and most fun ambiance. It is a pleasure every year and we can’t wait to come back again soon! The campsites were all spread out between each other so you have a lot more privacy than a normal campground. The community bathrooms were top notch for a camp ground (hot showers too). The community hangout spot was really nice and cool. The property was big and lots of areas to hike around and explore. A couple of campsites had amazing views as well. Overall, this place was 10/10 for camp getaway!
