There are paths to walk, a stocked tank to fish in, (bass, catfish and blue gill), and oak and pecan trees to sit under and view the clouds as they drift overhead. Fire pits are available in two different areas of the property, and campfires are permitted within these designated spaces. The land is divided through the middle, which allows convenient access for parking. Bikes and ATVs are welcome, but for your safety, please do not enter or attempt to use any areas that seem unsafe. Guests are welcome to collect firewood from fallen branches or trees already on the ground. However, please do not cut, damage, or remove any standing trees. As this is a primitive camping site, there is no electricity or running water available. Please bring your own drinking water and water for personal use. Our compost bathrooms contain a small amount of water for basic showering; however, if the water runs out, guests will need to provide their own. These bathrooms are enclosed on three sides and are located a short distance from the campsites, providing a reasonable level of privacy. There is a pond located toward the back of the property. Swimming is not permitted. Fishing is allowed, but it is strictly catch-and-release. You may drive closer to the pond only when the ground is dry. Please do not attempt to drive there after rain, as the soil becomes very soft and vehicles may become stuck. Trash bins are not provided, so please pack out all trash and belongings when you leave. As this is a large property, we are still working to remove items left behind by previous owners. We do have neighbors nearby, so please be respectful and mindful of noise levels. The property is only partially fenced, and animals may
occasionally pass through the area looking for food or shelter. Please remain aware of your surroundings during your stay. A train passes nearby from time to time, so guests who are light sleepers may want to plan ahead. If you plan to bring pets and allow them off leash, please note that we are not responsible for any injuries or incidents. One of our neighbors in particular has a breeding issue and his dogs tend to bark especially at night. Because this is an unrestricted property area, there is limited control over neighboring animals (we have tried to resolve this issue with no results) If you are a light sleeper, we recommend bringing earplugs or headphones to minimize any noise disturbance during your stay. The space

Our 1955 Traveleze was born and raised in Los Angeles just before getting a makeover and retiring to Texas at the age of 62-years-young. The bed is a comfortable futon opposite a padded bench seat with storage underneath with extra linens, just in case. You'll find all the pillows, sheets, and comforter in the small closet to the right of the bathroom door (the one with the clocks on it).
The bathroom with shower, toilet, and extras is located at the end of the trailer behind the door with the mirror. One of the coolest pieces in the trailer is the original 1950's gas stove - that still works! Just turn on the gas and use the lighter to light the flame (let us know if you if you need help).The A/C and the electric water heater work very well.
We have a dedicated parking spot for your vehicle right next to the trailer or you can park on the street, whichever you prefer. The trailer is stationed in the back corner of our backyard, but is fenced off from the rest of the yard for your privacy. There are no working security cameras on the premises.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a mid-size trailer, so the shower and bed are small and may not be comfortable for guests over 5' 10". The trailer is 21 feet long, 8 feet wide, and about six feet and three inches tall on the inside.

The access to the lake is less than a 1/2 mile down the road, boat ramp.
Fishing, swimming, exploring. You can fish the small pond on the property. Explore the property, In the evening if you’re quiet and from a distance you can probably watch the deer come to the feeders. Bring your mountain bikes, ride the county road. Star gazing at night.
There are some targets around the place if you like target shooting. You will need your own guns and ammunition. This activity is at your own risk.
Neighboring town, Malone is about 8 miles away. It's quite small but does have a convenience store, with ice, drinks, food, and worms for fishing. There is also a small-town bar with music and food.
Hubbard is a nice little town about 15 miles away. It features small cafes, antique shopping, gas and a Sonic.
The town of West is much larger and about 30 miles away. West features Czech Bakeries, & old town square shopping.
Don’t forget mosquito spray, bedding, and drinking water. There is plenty of dead wood for fire, but you may want something to cut it into smaller pieces. Please don’t go too big or crazy with fire. Conditions can be very dry. Keep the wood burning fireplace in the tent to small fires please.
Tents can fit 2 adults comfortably; bring your kids and sleep on floor or bring your own tent to set up for them. children are free no extra charge.

My friend and I spent three nights at one of the campsites on Coyote Farms. Regina was everything you could hope for in a hostess. She checked on us every day, including during a hailstorm, to make sure we were alright. There's a stocked pond for fishing and a grassy trail that winds around the property for hiking. Lots of shade to park under and for pitching tents. Each campsite had a trash can, compost potty, a fire pit, and a wooden picnic table. The fields were full of blooming wildflowers, so pretty. It's a great place to take kids camping or let your dogs run free. We had a great time there. I highly recommend it,

Its a lovely little place tucked away in the backroads. The hosts are wonderful! The access to the lake is easy to get to. We had views of a bluebonnet filled field and cute little cabins along the lake. The site had FULL HOOK UPs, picnic table and firepit to use if desired. The river access had breathtaking views of the cliffs across as well as upstream and downstream. There is places to fish and swim near by. We can wait to go back!

Fantastic camping on Todd’s land lots of open area to walk around and explore. There is a great pond to fish and swim in. Comes with a paddle boat and Jon boat. I will say you can hear the near by road most of the night but it didn’t bother us too much. 10/10 would book again.

This spot was exactly what we were looking for. We love to camp and were looking for a perfect camping spot to pitch our tent. This was that spot. Off busy roads; nice, quiet and peaceful. Plus, there was electric which was awesome! Would definitely camp here again if we come out to is way. 10/10 would recommend.

Becky's property is in a picturesque setting on the Brazos River. Cool, crystal-clear water runs adjacent to the property. This location is ideal for people looking for a place to get away for awhile - and the fishing is pretty darn good, too.
