Come stay on our 100 acre Richard Creek Valley getaway, gently tucked away on the north slope. There are four campsites on the property and they are all at least 150 yards away from each other. Each site is private. When the ground is dry there is access for all vehicles. When the ground is muddy, Brookside, RiverRock, and Richardson Creek campsites require a 4-wheel drive and have alternate routes to get to them. Ancient Oaks is an all-weather site. You can enjoy hiking and swimming in Richardson Creek when water levels permit. Canoeing from Bakers Crossing put-in which is only 3 miles away. Property is on the farm where I grew up about 9 miles northeast of Glen Rose off of Highway 67. It has various trees on property with cedar, live oak, post oak, etc. Campsites are in front of a wide waterfall which is about 5 feet in height. You can fall asleep with the sound of the waterfalls! We have three ground tent sites and two 14 by 14 deck sites if you want to be up off the ground. Each site has a fire ring and electricity. There are well-marked trails across the creek which go to a meadow and a big treehouse I built several years ago. Glen Rose has several restaurants known for barbecue and Mexican food. Granbury is 25 minutes away with lots of shopping and restaurants around their historic town square. Glen Rose also has a town square.

We have a 9-hole golf course, 18-holes if you ask one of the golfers. A bar is on premises for pool and darts. General Store and Grill all in Horseshoe Bend Country Club. Weatherford is the Cutting Horse Capital of the World. Enjoy our Sheriff Pose Rodeo, the Peach Festival. Downtown Weatherford is full of antique stores and once a month we have First Monday Trade Days. Texas Motor Speedway (NASCAR) is not far. We are a small park. The lots are very large at 100' X 50'. Our spaces are all covered, a blessing in the hot Texas summertime. We are across the street from the Brazos River. Campers do have river access with a dock for fishing a launching kayaks. . We offer shower and laundry facilities.

I loved camping at Deer Creek! The waterfall was really neat & the camping sites are remote. Communication was excellent as well! We checked in after 9 & John was still available to answer questions. We look forward to visiting again in the spring.

We loved tent camping on Amy's land! Everyone very kind and the area is beautiful and relaxing we had a wonderful time fishing and just being outdoors in nature. It reminded me of childhood spent on my grandparents farm. With all the goats, chickens and ducks etc.

Amy's place is always a welcome reprieve from the world. Situated on a nice piece of property along the river, it is a very chill vibe. If you are tent camping, I recommend the Far Far Away site. This is my second time here, and it's apparent that continued improvements have been made. She did have to shut down the honor system store because.... well, people suck. And I hate that for Amy, because she is such a sweet lady. But I understand the decision. If you come here, please be kind, respectful, and pick up any trash you see from previous campers.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Wendy and Kevin. They are super nice people and came by as I was getting checked in to make sure I got settled. When I accidentally left something at my site, Wendy reached out to me and we were able to get my items back to me. I am looking forward to my next trip to the area and will definitely be staying there again. The facilities clean and well kept. The grounds were beautiful. I arrived in the dark and it was nice to make up to the rolling, tree-covered hills.

A great little RV park. Dirt road in is a little rough, and no store, but great hookups and quiet. Wendy is a great host, and even have me ice out of her refrigerator when we ran out! I'd definitely stop there agian
