Our stay at Tent Site #2 at Boulderdash Cabin & RV Park was absolutely wonderful! Carol-anne and Lyn were amazing hosts—friendly, responsive, and super thoughtful. They provided helpful tips before our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed for a great experience.
The site was peaceful and well-kept, surrounded by nature and just steps from the Medina River. Even though it was a short hike to the bathrooms, we were well-prepared thanks to their clear heads-up and suggestion to bring a tent potty—especially useful since we were camping with our child.
We appreciated the attention to detail, from the check-in process to on-site items like firewood and ice. The no-visitor and quiet policies helped make the space feel safe and relaxing for families.
We made some great memories here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect, relax, and enjoy the outdoors!

We absolutely loved our stay! We spent the weekend kid free celebrating our 13 year anniversary & couldn’t help but talk about how much the kids would have loved it! Will definitely be back sometime soon with the kids! Plenty of areas to swim or sit in the water and enjoy the absolute peacefulness of the flowing water and watching the sunset!

We loved camping out at Boulderdash! The campsites were clean and well maintained. There are amenities like freshwater, WiFi, and electricity available if you’d like, but it doesn’t feel like glamping. If you forget anything, Carol-Anne and Lyn have it handy. The riverside sites are a short walk to wading in the Medina river. The kids and dogs had a blast. Campers who come here should abide by the camp’s simple rule; don’t be a jerk. We’re looking forward to coming back as soon as possible!

We had a great time at Boulderdash! Carol-Anne was a great host, very helpful and made us feel welcome. The sites and the bathrooms were clean. The RV pad was easy to access. The river is a short walk and fun to explore. Great weekend all around. Thank you for being great hosts!

We stayed at Hill Country Views on Farm #1 from May 2nd to May 4th and loved the peaceful, scenic setting. Even though we got hit with heavy rain the first night, the gravel road and well-maintained site made things manageable, and the ground dried up quickly around the road. The view is incredible, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. We camped in an Aliner Evolution 15 travel trailer and had easy access to electric and water hookups, with clean bathrooms just a short walk away. The host was friendly but gave us plenty of space, which we appreciated. I’d recommend this spot to anyone.. tent campers, RVers, or overlanders with rooftop tents will all feel right at home here.

One of the best camping spots there is! I've been several times now and never want to leave. There are 4 great spots to choose from, they are all clean and have a picnic table/fire pit. The porta potty is not a far walk and always clean. It's perfect for adult only or family camping. Definitely take advantage of the paddleboards/kayaks and head upstream. Laura is a wonderful host and will make sure you are taken care of. Enjoy!!

I would definitely consider myself an avid outdoorsman/camper, and let me tell you that I am glad that I found this spot. This location has everything you need, restrooms, community sink, and amazing access to the river. The campgrounds are very clean, and the RV sites are perfect. Carol Ann and Lyn put their passion for camping and traveling into their property. And it shows. These people made us feel like we were family, and honestly just want you to have a great experience while you’re at Boulderdash. If I could give this place 10 stars I gladly would.

I had a fantastic experience at this camping spot, thanks to Laura’s exceptional hospitality. She was incredibly helpful, guiding me to the site with ease and personally showing me the available spot, which was nestled in a serene, picturesque setting.
The peaceful water and tranquil atmosphere were absolutely outstanding, perfect for unwinding. The shower and bathroom facilities were super clean, adding to the comfort.
I loved the convenience of provided wagons for moving gear, and the kayaks and paddleboards were easily accessible, making for a delightful time on the calm, scenic river.
Highly recommend this gem for a relaxing camping getaway!

We had an amazing time! The view was great and the camp sites are right on the river. We saw plenty of wildlife but were mindful of the slithery kind 🐍

Weekend Trip to The Best Dam Spot
Quite literally the best spot I’ve been to so far. Theres a nice warm shower and porta potty, the sites are spaced out enough, that you can’t hear others. Theres water being in the background was lovely. Kayaked up the river and enjoyed the beautiful views. Definitely will be back!

Camping at Boulderdash was absolutely amazing. We rented tent site 1 and our friends rented tent site 2 and it worked perfectly to have that area together. The sites were clean, quiet and had awesome amenities including the outdoor kitchen area to share with each other. This made washing dishes, charging devices and washing hands so easy. The river is beautiful despite being low and there is easy access to it. They are pet friendly as long as your pet is friendly and that's a huge plus. The hosts were so kind as well, they even put on an easter egg hunt for all the kids on site Saturday night. I can't say enough great things and will definitely be back.

This was a beautiful spot. We camped with friends in tents and the amenities were awesome. There was tons of space between the RV sites, tent sites, cabin and trailer. Carol-Anne and Lyn were very helpful and accommodating. There were very nice extras like an Easter egg hunt and feed corn at the site. We will definitely be back.
