We enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful scenery. Perfect distance from D/FW to get away. The Winery and Restaurant offer a fantastic view. We didn't do the winery tasting but plan to do that next time. We'll be back soon!

Sherwood was a very accommodating and communicative host. The grounds were very clean and just as described. The water park was inactive due to the off season, and staying here made us want to come back when the park is fully operational. Great location only about 16 min to the Stockyards. Would definitely stay again!

Trey was such a kind host! We had a fantastic fall camp with clear skies and stargazing at night and lots of active birdwatching in the morning. Definitely recommend as a place to escape DFW and be out in the country all by yourselves! The site was very private and well maintained.

My family and I loved camping at Lake Godstone. It was clean, well kept, just as advertised. The property is beautiful and great for stargazing. The cabins/ amenities were very well kept and comfortable. We felt safe and secluded out there. We will definitely be going back.

We booked a very last minute night’s stay during the week and got there after dark. The information in the listing and online was so complete that arrival was easy. No need for help from anyone. The camp site was perfectly clean and clear with firewood provided. We’re looking forward to staying when we have more time and can enjoy the winery.

Lovely landscaped ranch and winery. Wish we had more time to explore. Saw some deer. We're from a wine country, France and would sure enjoy going back for a tasting. Walt was efficient, obliging and courteous.
