Come stay on our 100 acre Richard Creek Valley getaway, gently tucked away on the north slope. There are four campsites on the property and they are all at least 150 yards away from each other. Each site is private. When the ground is dry there is access for all vehicles. When the ground is muddy, Brookside, RiverRock, and Richardson Creek campsites require a 4-wheel drive and have alternate routes to get to them. Ancient Oaks is an all-weather site. You can enjoy hiking and swimming in Richardson Creek when water levels permit. Canoeing from Bakers Crossing put-in which is only 3 miles away.

Sundancer On The Brazos sits on Comanche Creek in an isolated forest
on a 350 acre working cattle ranch with a quarter mile of river frontage!
The Comanche were quite active up and down this part of the Brazos when the earliest settlers arrived around 1850, until the Comanches' eventual conquest by the Texas Rangers and their Colt pistols around 1870; we have found lots of flint and some arrowheads on high places here. Going further back in history, the Fuller's Folly River Ranch has an abundance of petrified wood, they say that if you have fossilized sea shells you were under water, but if you have petrified wood you had land creatures. The whole property is great to get away from everything. It was our first time camping with a travel trailer and Top of dam was a great location. Plenty of room, great scenery. We rode bikes on all the trails and all the sites were secluded and roomy. It was cold and windy but we made the most of it. We are planning on returning with a bigger group to enjoy it again and utilize more of the amenities.

I really enjoyed David’s place. It’s a couple of acres of gated land out in the country with 3 rv spots.
The location was key for me to be close to family during the holidays. It’s only a short drive to a few lively cities but might not be ideal if you want to be in Dallas daily or don’t have a second car to drive thats separate from your rv. Even though it’s in the country I was still able to get Ubers, and Walmart delivery.
There are some factories across the street. You can occasionally hear semis, trains, roosters and the neighbors enjoying themselves. It didn’t bother me at all and outside of that it’s pretty quiet.
Overall it’s a GREAT value and a nice place to stay. The price for full hookups was worth it and the hosts were very responsive. I hope to come stay here whenever I’m visiting my family.

Well maintained and level pads. Water, electric, and sewer were conveniently located. Sites are back in which wasn’t an issue for our 30’ Class A motorhome, however, larger units and 5th wheels may find the sites a challenge to back in to. Camp hosts were fantastic and very accommodating.

I was welcomed by friendly goats and lil pig. Since, it was a thanksgiving day - I only saw three people in the area. Our tent was superb! Perfect spot for our camping but unfortunately we have to leave after 3 hours of stay coz my son has an anxiety attack. He just got tired from our previous camp (this is actually our second spot). I believe we need to come back here again soon and explore the area. The communication w the host was great. All the instructions were given clearly and the suggested trail to explore. We really need to come back here again soon.

It was wonderful. Very polite. Got to roam around the ranch saw a plethora of animals. Listening to the coyotes at sunrise and sunset. Watching the monarch butterflies fly through camp was magical. The ranch operator and his wife (I’m so sorry I forgot their names) were so polite and nice the doggo too!. They were able to help out with fire wood. Clean facilities, drinking water available. Just great.
