Great spot! We had it all to ourselves the whole weekend. It rained so the river was a bit high so we couldn’t really kayak without paddling against the current (which we did anyways!! Lol) great trip and time with family. Host was awesome and very accommodating. Clean facilities. Everything you need for a good reconnect with nature.

Awesome, family-friendly stay! All the creature comforts you need (plus even more than we are used to- a warm shower, towels and bedding provided, a well-stocked kitchen!) Campground is a short walk to the beautiful Guadalupe River! We had 7 kids across 3 tipis and everyone had a blast! The kids could roam safely around the campground games and grassy area while we cooked and relaxed. We can’t wait to go back!

Our tent at GLAT was everything we hoped for and more! It was so cute, comfortable and had everything we needed. The only complaint is that the people next to us were playing music the entire time and set up their volleyball net right in front of our tent and view.

I really loved the feel of everything. However, when I got to the tent I saw a lot of things I didn't see within the pictures. A lot of the things were changed out. It was beautiful, but it also just wasn't what we expected. The bed was comfortable, it came with blankets, had two lamps on each bed. There is an ac & heater to use, but the ac came in through the zipper windows. We had to stuff a bag into the hole so no bugs would get in. The rack to hang clothes n such on was short, so you couldn't even hang anything. Also, I wasn't expecting the furnace to be removed. I should've looked into it more, but I really was excited for that part of the tent. The toilets are eco friendly, so you can't flush the toilet with toilet paper and dispose into a toilet (bring a water bottle to flush!). There were also a lot of holes in the bathroom/shower area. This made it extremely cold trying to shower, + if someone came over to go to the bathroom, while you were showering they could see you, if they wanted to. This place is nice, but there's some kinks that need a little fix. Overall, decent experience. <3

On The River Camping was such a perfect get away for my spouse and our closest friends. Despite lots of rain on Friday evening, the site dried out extremely well and made for an excellent weekend spot to just hang out, fish, kayak, and laze around while the kids were at their grandparents house! In addition to the awesome spot, Bridget went above and beyond on so many occasions. When our truck got stuck near by (not on her property), Bridget offered to inlist family to assist. She then was super flexible because of the rain and offered so many accommodations since Friday night got a little wonky for us! Finally, Hipcamp made a few billing errors, and Bridget spent a good amount of time emailing with customer service, while staying in contact with me the whole time, to make it right and make sure we didnt get overcharged (by Hipcamp) for the stay! 11/10 would recommend!

Weekend Trip to Stunning Dome Retreat w/Hot Tub

This was our first time using HipCamp, and what an incredible experience! Zvi and Thunder (the resident longhorn on site) were extremely responsive hosts and made sure we had everything that we needed for the duration of our stay. The geodesic dome was beautifully decorated with a sophisticated touch, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. The location was private and peaceful—a perfect getaway from the city. We loved how secluded it felt despite being a short 20 minute drive from Bastrop. One of our favorite parts was waking up to a beautiful sunrise, with the option to open the curtains and let the morning light pour in. At night, the views of the sky were absolutely stunning—perfect for stargazing and soaking in the beauty of the quiet countryside. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to unwind and recharge.

Lovely, peaceful campsite near the Colorado River, with plenty of room to spread out. We got lucky—we were the only ones camping so had the place to ourselves all weekend. Bridget was a fantastic and welcoming host, immediately responding to all of our questions and requests. Electric hookup at site and communal bathhouse and dish washing area were great amenities. We loved our time here and will definitely return!

2 nights at Colorado RiverBend Retreat #CRBR

This is the perfect country retreat along the Colorado River! We stayed in the fancy river shack and the accommodations were absolutely amazing. The 1st night I used the outdoor grill which was perfect along with a fire pit evening. The host delivered two bundles of firewood immediately upon request at $10 a bundle. The second night was too windy for a fire but it was still great. The River Shack is just a short walk down to the river bank and there are two tent and camping sites close to the shore with their own amenities. All sites are peacefully and perfectly placed to provide a woodsy country private and tranquil get away feel. The River Shack itself is so attractive and the kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom are perfect and modern, and can be compartmentalized with sliding doors. Three flat-screen TVs across the jacuzzi room, living room, and bedroom were great, along with a desk area for your laptop with wifi. Last and of course, the jacuzzi room lets you know you are "Glamping" in ultimate style and country grace! I literally watched the morning news with coffee in the jacuzzi! Why not! With nature watching I saw 10 deer total throughout my stay and a Cow! My Lady and family will return one day and get some fishing done!

2 nights at Romantic Tiny Luxury cabin-hot tub

The tiny house was perfect for my boyfriend & I. It was a surprise for his birthday and he absolutely loved it. The tiny house was clean, private, comfortable, and super romantic. The pool and sauna were really nice to have as well. Hill country is a dream and the location of Colibri was spot on. We would go back!

They stay in their pens and we provide food so you can feed them - please do not give them any other food except what is provided. Bonus! Guests can enjoy fresh eggs daily, when available. Located-10 minutes from Canyon Lake -20 minutes from Wimberley, San Marcos and Blanco. Wynona’s is perfectly situated to some of the sweetest towns in Texas! The space We love camping so much we decided to make our own Glamping experience in our backyard! The rental includes your yurt, but you get to use the common space!! In total we have 4 bell tents. Two tents have one queen bed and two have two queen beds. We provide two air mattresses to sleep total 16!! There are AC units in each of the tents to keep cool at night. Please note that the hot tub is only included if all 4 tents are booked. Our common areas include 2 showers, 2 toilets, 1 extra large sink area connected to the bathrooms, 2 grills and 4 large picnic tables, a bar and coffee station, a fire pit, hammocks and a rope swing. This space is perfect for any family celebration, reunion, birthday party, ect! It is tucked away at the bottom of the property so you get the space to yourself. IMPORTANT! There is an additional $25/yurt if you want to use the hot tub during your stay. Guest access When you arrive at our house you will park in our circle driveway and walk through the double green gates down the hill to the glampsite. (To the left past the house) The road is slippery/steep so please use the steps. Backpack recommended for easier up and down! You can roll a cooler down the (steep) road! Other things to note Each of the four bell tents are equipped with an AC unit, beds, heater, pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, electrical outlets, twinkle lights, and a lantern. The home is located inside a completely fenced-in compound with private driveway, parking spot and security gate. Come hang out on the Eastside. This is tiny living at its finest! No pets allowed. Guests will have complete access to entire house and yard. Nothing is shared. The hosts are long-time residents of Austin and are available to offer tips, recommendations and general guidance if needed or can be completely invisible if you prefer. Eastside Container is conveniently located in the heart of East Austin, close to the MLK train Station, downtown and UT campus, including UT's baseball, basketball and football stadiums. Very convenient to many great bars, restaurants, and live music venues on E. 6th St., Manor St., E. 11th St. and the Red River district. Some of the best BBQ joints in the state are almost within smelling distance, including, Franklin, La Barbecue, Mueller's, Mickelthwaite Kerlin and Sam's. Your own car is highly recommended while visiting Austin, as the public transportation system here has something to be desired. That being said, you are a 10-minute walk to the MLK train station which runs to and from downtown (but not too late).

Learn more about this land:Tom Dooley’s Hideout is located at the Gateway to the hill country, just minutes west of Dripping Springs off of hwy 290. It’s a unique 4 acre property with 5 modern tiny houses that sit on open range with free grazing livestock which occasionally show up as they do not belong to us. This tiny house comfortably sleeps 2 on a queen bed but we do have a sofa/futon thats great for kids. Enjoy sitting on the porch or at the picnic table under the trees to kick back and relax on a cool evening. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO HAVE A TWO NIGHT MINIMUM ON WEEKENDS Each tiny house has a keyless code entry system in which a personal code will be set up and sent to you prior to your check in. In the case that there is an issue with the key pad we do have a manual key so that you will always be able to access your tiny house. Pets are always allowed but we do charge $40 PER pet PER night. We do ask that you keep your pets off of the couch and the bed and clean up any “restroom breaks” outside. Also please note that we Do Not have a full kitchen only a microwave but we do have a charcoal grill under the trees in the common area. Dripping Springs offers a huge variety of fun activities and places to visit. Within a 10 to 15 minute drive you can visit countless local wineries, breweries and distilleries. There are also many amazing state parks such as Pedernales Falls, Blue Hole, Jacobs Well and Hamilton Pool that are always great to visit. Dripping Springs is also known to the wedding capital of Texas If you are in need of transportation you can always call an Uber or Lyft but if you are up for the drive, using your own personal vehicle is the best way to get around.
