Camp ground was very convenient for our family of 5. Kids range from 7-5 and they had a blast. The loved the swing tree, donkey, longhorns, and building a camp fire. The shower water was hot and the restroom was primitive, but clean and taken care of. Since this was our first time tent camping as a family I didn’t want to go far from home… we live in Drip and didn’t realize this place existed. We will absolutely be back in the future! Thank you!!

Where do I start..We have found our forever camping spot ❤️ When we arrived we were all just in awe of the view..What an amazing spot ( site 4 ) The grass was so green and soft the view of the river amazing.... The site is so private, and huge...We sit up our tents under some trees the shade was perfect . So much space to set up everything. The sounds of nature were on point. The birds singing was very relaxing. The entrance into the river was very easy like walking into the beach. Billy is so very kind . And kept us good with firewood. Also provided us with lifejackets which was so very much appreciated...Our children spent hours swimming and riding up and down the river on the boat and Kayaks that Billy provided...The two fire pits were a huge plus .made cooking so easy....We spund four days and 3 nights there and we were not in a hurry to leave....There is water from a well on the property that made it very easy and convenient for our needs....This is definitely a place that you will not regret camping at....it's our new favorite spot....💞💞💞💞 Thanks Billy for offering such a beautiful place to make memories at ...keep up the good work...we will be back...😊

Weekend Trip to Wildflower Getaway
Amazing experience! This is a very family friendly camp site. We camped in a tent and the spot they set us up with was really nice, near the outdoor shower, outhouse, and a hammock with a string of lights hung through the trees. There are horses and ponies and goats that roam the property and come say hi and there’s some playground equipment for little kids to play on. The property is fenced in and it felt very safe to let my kids run around. It’s owned by a very sweet family, who maintain their land really well. As a member of the LGBTQ community, it’s often difficult to find places that I can feel safe out in nature with my kids and they were very accepting of my family and I. If you’re looking for a fun, quiet, family friendly spot to camp, I highly recommend staying here.

Weekend Trip to Dot's Spots
We had a great experience at Dot’s Spots! Host was so accommodating for our late night arrival and adjusted our booking to a site that wasn’t as impacted by mud after some rainy weather came through. The location was also terrific as it was close to Pedernales Falls State Park and Wimberly, both which we easily explored in a day. It was the perfect first camping trip with our 18 month old! 10/10 would recommend!

We had a great time camping on Billy’s land. The river was beautiful and the campsite was spacious and appointed with a fire pit and chairs. Firewood was provided for a low price. The goats and sheep were friendly and cute.

This place is awesome one of the best hip camps we have ever been to. The little peninsula right off the river was beautiful and lush accompanied by canoes that are available to rent and firewood available for purchase as well. This is a Tip top establishment that I will definitely be visiting again and again for times to come. From wild beavers two cows in the river this place has it all!

Weekend Trip to Wildflower Getaway
We absolutely loved tent camping on Krystal’s land! It was beautiful and nice to get away out into the country for a couple days. We loved the open atmosphere and the fact that the animals could roam free. We loved every interaction we had with her animals they were all very sweet and kept to themselves. If you’re looking to camp somewhere away from the city this is the place to go! We could not recommend Krystal’s land more! Thank you for the awesome opportunity Krystal and we will definitely be booking this place again if we find ourselves on that side of town again!

Weekend Trip to Secluded, great hill country views
This was a great camping spot! We appreciated Michelle's communication and flexibility. The views (especially the sunset) were amazing and while there were other guests staying on the property, we had a secluded spot that made us feel like we had the place to ourselves. The bathrooms were a huge plus as well. The swimming hole was impressive although a little chilly for the March weather, but such a beautiful spot to relax. We enjoyed our stay!

Great private location with access to pump water. Very peaceful with a lot of animal sounds. River has a boat you can use, I wouldn’t swim in it lol. Billy was accommodating and nice. Trash can at entrance. No bathroom or shower. Prepare your own.

Camping on Billy's land was so relaxing, the location is amazing next to the Guadalupe river. The other sites are far enough where you dont even notice anyone around, and the sheep/goats were so amazing and really topped off the trip. I would highly recommend this space to anyone interested and I will definitely be returning!

Escape to the Texas hill country and experience the charm of farm life on 10 acres at Wildflower Getaway! Nestled just outside of Austin, in San Marcos, TX, our property offers a unique experience with hiking trails surrounded by nature and friendly farm animals. There is also a cowboy pool with a shade sail. We have goats, horses, chickens, ducks, and more. In September we will have a llama named Oreo Mochi. There is an outhouse for washing hands and a compost toilet. There are water and electric connections only. 50 amp RV connections. If you need 30 amp you will need a converter. You can pitch a tent. There are rock firepits set up around the property and plenty of firewood. Eventually we will be adding an outdoor shower for camping guests. It is 15-18 minutes to downtown San Antonio. About 15 minutes to tube rentals to float the river in San Marcos. The San Marcos outlet malls are a shower trip. An approximate 30 minute trip to Wimberly, TX wineries. There are wildflowers all over the property; especially in the spring time. We have seen deer grazing on the property and some travelers have found fossils and arrowheads (no guarantees of course). A tent can be provided upon your request ahead of time. We look forward to hosting you. We want you to create lasting memories by connecting with yourself and loved ones.

. These are unique camping spots along the Guadalupe River. I didn’t exactly understand how unique until I started getting feedback from my campers. The surrounding scenery will lower your blood pressure and do wonders to let you reconnect with nature. Sit back and close your eyes late in the evening and listen to all the wildlife talking to each other. There is faint traffic noise from 90A about a 1/3 of a mile away but it calms down after 7 or so. Currently no amenities but I am in the plans for some portable bathrooms. Please be prepared to cover all your bathroom and cooking needs. I do have some good clean well water from a faucet on the way into the campgrounds. Campfires are permitted. There is a convenience store (Diamond A) with clean bathrooms and a great bbq just 5 miles to the west on 90A and a Walmart and HEB 10 miles to the east on 90A. (Both Diamond A and Walmart sell fishing licenses if you need one. Dogs are allowed at sites 3 and 4 but not at 1 or 2 where my livestock guardian dogs have access to. No matter the size or temperament of your pets you are always expected to have them under your control at ALL times. I have very small livestock in the area frequently I am almost always on the property and try to have my phone with me while campers are on site, just let me know what you need and I will do what I can to accommodate you Rentals include paddles and however many lifejackets you need. 12-14ft Jon boats $30 unlimited days Tandem (double) kayaks $25 unlimited days Single kayak $20 unlimited days Tub of mixed firewood ( pecan, hackberry, sycamore and chinaberry $15 Tub of split pecan wood $20 $5 cash discount off total but can also accept Zelle, cashapp, PayPal and Venmo.

Once owned by locally famous (at the time) D.G. Burrow who was a performing Country and Western musician here in Austin TX. campround/farmette' is about 2 acres (inside the city limits!), on a creek, kind of woodsy, and next to a pretty vast parkland greenbelt. Recent flooding made quite a mess but it's still pleasant here. Several friendly and permanent residents and farm animals. Creek-side private campground hideaway available. This is a CAMPGROUND: NO RV, ROOM, BED, INVOLVED - BRING A TENT AND GEAR FOR COMFORT (check my other listings for an RV stay). This a "want to camp" campground and not a living solution. If you "need to camp" due to financial or other reasons, Camp EZ will likely not be a good fit for you. 6 nights maximum stay. Not suitable for very young children. Please include your child in your count. Campfires in designated area only with permission (burn ban sometimes). Bring firewood. Community vibe 'round here; everyone is expected to be quiet and respectful of one another and clean up after themselves "leave no trace" style. Six night maximum stay. Bring a tent and gear needed to be comfortable. 2 private hot outdoor showers, rustic kitchen and 2 charming flush restrooms included. Wood fired sauna available. Visitors are expected to clean up after themselves especially in the kitchen, showers, restroom and, of course, your campsite. Trash and recycle containers are around or, better yet, pack it out! Campfires in designated area only with permission (burn ban sometimes). Bring firewood. We are a 2 acre community on a secret and secluded little street 5 miles due South of the capitol of TX and even closer (2.5) to the very hip SoCo area (Continental Club, Jo's Coffee, Guero's Taco Bar, El Mercado and lots more). I have 3 cats, 11 chickens, 2 little donkeys and sweet 4 mini goats here at my little and funky 'farmette' right on Williamson Creek (sometimes flowing and not really swimmable) and next to a huge wooded greenbelt with a quiet and unused nature trail. This is not a KOA or a state park. This is a home hostel/campground. It's kind of rustic and we like it that way. You may see a roach, ant or cricket and you may also see a deer, fox or coyote. We are busy and not always able to visit for long. Lots of remodeling and flood related cleanup chaos here but also lots of pretty and secluded nature. Short walk to bus stop and historic Sagebrush HonkyTonk and Austin Bergstrom Airport is 9 easy highway miles away. Rustic outdoor shower/kitchen/privy. BYOTent. No wild or excessive partying here please and please remember: no smoking. WE NOW HAVE A COVERED PING-PONG PLAYING AREA AND BADMINTON TOO!​ Other details to note: Street parking. Camping is a very short walk from parking lot. We have carts to tote your gear if needed. Sorry, this campground is not set up to be able to park next to your site. We do not supply towels, toiletries, tents or bedding. Camp fire in designated fire pits only with approval. BYO Firewood. NO GENERATORS OR RECORDED MUSIC. Quiet time: 9PM-9AM. Bird Haus Farms is centrally located in the Texas Hill Country—just 30 minutes from San Antonio, 25 minutes from New Braunfels and Boerne, and 60 minutes from Fredericksburg. A Walmart and HEB are just across the highway, with Guadalupe State Park only 15 minutes away. We're also a quick 3-minute drive from Guadalupe Canoe Livery for river tubing and kayaking!
