Park Ranch RV And Boat Storage

2 sites · RVs10 acres · Von Ormy, TX
We are an RV and Boat Storage facility that has open spaces available for overnight or weekly dry camping. It is NOT a beautiful camp spot with amazing views or amenities but it is a very affordable overnight parking spot with gate accessible fenced-in secure place to stay with an onsite live-in manager/security. Why take up valuable space at a truck stop where space is at a premium for those truckers as well as deal with the noise of the trucks coming and going all night? The same thing goes for lot docking at a Walmart or the like where there is no security, where people race their cars and motorcycles through the parking lots, or being kicked out by the Police and sleeping with one eye open all night. If in the San Antonio area, come get a safe peaceful night sleep while traveling through. What you get; You get a gate code to gain access, you get a specific area to park, you get a level place to park on a road base surface so no mud, you get a secure place to park, we are not promising anything fancy, just a safe place to park. We are 20 minutes away from Lackland AFB, 23 minutes from The Alamo and 20 minutes from the San Antonio River Walk.

The Ledge at Cypress Creek

2 sites · RVs2 acres · Comfort, TX
This property is a work in progress. I purchased a couple houses along Cypress Creek in Comfort Tx. It’s a little over 2 acres with direct access to Cypress Creek. Comfort is a little town about 18 miles from Fredericksburg Tx and 15 miles from Kerrville and Boerne Tx. Comfort has several antique shops and some great restaurants. You will also find the best pizza anywhere at Comfort Pizza. Call ahead and reserve some dough because they sell out regularly is so amazing. Currently I’m making available some camping sites while I work on the houses. You can camp right on the creek weather permitting or camp up on higher ground to get a view of the creek and wildlife. We have a couple pairs of Barred owls that visit almost every day. During the evening you can sit and watch them along the majestic Cypress trees that line the creek There are bass catfish perch and at times we will see rainbow trout. Not sure how they got in the creek but will see them mainly in the spring on the sand beds. Downtown Comfort is walking distance from my place but my wife and I like riding our bikes around town. There are some great back roads that you can bike on or if you are more advanced you are only 15 minutes away from the popular Flat Rock Creek mountain bike ranch You can Kayak in the Cypress Creek where you would be camping. Small camp fires are allowed as long as there is no burn ban in place. Eventually there will be a 200’ long water slide that will dump you into the creek and also a soaking pool fed by the creek. I have lots of limestone boulders and blocks that will be placed along the banks of the creek to prevent further erosion and make walking along the creek more pleasant. You will see lots of whitetail and axis deer on this property. If there are any questions you have about the area just ask. I have lived in Comfort for about 30 years. When you get here you will see a historic twin Cypress Tree which was the center point of the origins of Comfort when the survey team mapped out Comfort. The tree was the camp site for the surveyors. There is a swing that you can sit in the shade and watch the wildlife go by. You are allowed to bring your pets but please keep them on a leash. Some pets aren’t use to having open ground to run around on and we don’t want you to loose your pet. I have 5 sets of concrete picnic tables and benches scattered out down by the creek that are perfect for a family gathering or just a individual that wants to relax by the creek. If you have a special request that I can provide just . There are several spots along the creek that are deep holes 10’-20’ deep. There are other spots 1’-3’ deep perfect for wading.
