Our cabin was clean and fun. There were deer on the property. The host was friendly. After full dark the stars were bright and light pollution was minimal. The town of Ingram was 20 minutes away and had a nice coffee shop and some good restaurants. The views and scenery around the camp were lovely.

2 nights at HomeAway Ranch & Wildlife Preserve
I stayed in the Lindavista Cabin and the pictures don't do it justice. The inside of the cabin is completely styled in luxury country chic. You'll find a giant LCD television in the living area, stainless steel appliances, lcd-enabled mirrors in the two full bathrooms with wraparound glass showers (one on each floor), a huge two-person jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom upstairs, remote controlled air conditioners and fans on each floor, a private balcony off of the master bathroom, and a fully enclosed sunroom off the master bedroom that could also be used as an additional bedroom for more guests. Even the kitchen faucet has an LED light that shines from the water to let you know whether the water is hot or cold. There's a comfortable little porch at the door of the cabin, and I was visited by an entire group of 9 or 10 adorable goats a couple of times each day! The cabins on this property are spaced pretty close together, but the owners did an excellent job of arranging them so that the cabins do not directly look into each other, a relief since there are no curtains in any of the many windows of this cabin. There was a small hiccup on check-in time (Hipcamp said 2pm but the owners told me 3pm not long before I arrived), but otherwise I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing, peaceful, and luxurious stay.

Lovely wide open property with large spaces, adorable cabins, large clean bath house, pool and hot tub. our surprise was to find it is also an exotic deer farm so all the time here we were surrounded by the deer roaming freely. Wonderful to see the different kinds. It was quite there and the hosts and their helpers made our stay perfect. We will stay again and recommend others to stay. Thank you for a nice night

The pull through slots were long enough for our full setup and car. Electricity, water and sewer all worked fine. Had good enough cell service for our hotspot. Getting in and out was easy and the gate is nice and wide. Got to see the deers which are on the property. The issues are the pull through slots are very narrow and close together. Our stairs almost were into the neighboring site. Also, there is one quiet "permanent" rig two sites over which needs a bit of repair and makes things look like this wouldn't be a good spot to stay. This is a great place for an overnight stop.

I loved this cabin. The view of the river from the patio was amazing and the jacuzzi, you could look up at all of the stars. The kitchen is nice. They have a very nice toaster oven, bbq grill, but no stove top (just a heads up)! The cabin was very clean. The location is perfect. It is very close to Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock! My dog even got to join in on the adventure.

James's wild bill’s cabin was real cozy. The star gazing was great and so was watching some of the wildlife grazing around the property. Speaking of grazing their pizzas are delicious overall it was a great experience would definitely recommend staying overnight!

It was a beautiful place and lots of deer. The owners are really sweet too which was really welcoming to have. We did tent camping right in the center near the bathroom which was perfect. The bathrooms are very well kept and clean. My boyfriend and I have already decided to go back for another stay.

This was an awesome experience for our young grandchildren. They learned so much about the animals and loved their first ever horse ride. There was a nice playground, hills and rocks. Things we don’t have at home. I would definitely do it again.

Was a great location right off the highway and very quiet. It is a campground and event location with a nice amount of wildlife within the fenced area. We didn't have much time since we were passing through but would love to return and spend some time here. Our spot was in the front but still was very quiet and couldn't hear the highway. Only possible negative would be that the front pull through sites were right next to each other and would have been on top of others if the row had been full. But the site was good and the hookups were very easy.

The hideaway cabin is as absolutely stunning! We had a wonderful weekend enjoying the nature trials, floating the river and the kids loved the tadpoles in the spillway right there in the driveway! LeAnn was great giving us all the information we needed and much more!

We enjoyed the peacefulness of this quaint cabin with its unique features. The fenced yard was wonderful for our dog. The private hot tub was fantastic! Be sure to bring paper towels, toilet paper, coffee, condiments, bug spray, dish soup and other essentials. We explored the trails a bit, but the tall grass caused concern for our dog and potential snakes. It’s a great location away from the craziness of the river. Enjoyed Lost Maples Cafe in Utopia, Gypsies in Leakey. Hippie Chics in Concan was our favorite! Garner State Park is beautiful and popular so get a reservation way ahead of time. Looking forward to coming back to this gem in the future. Thank you to the owners.

This is an amazing find and a great weekend getaway! It was my favorite HipCamp find so far. The cabin is very secluded and quiet. The nature trails are beautiful and very well maintained. Leann was very responsive to messages and a great host. There is a gate around the cabin to keep your fur babies close. We had clear skies and enjoyed star gazing in the hot tub. I can’t wait to return!
