A peaceful campsite in the country. Our campsite is on a private 1 acre section near our residence. You can enjoy watching the wildlife or stargazing at night. On site, you will have a cozy bed, hammock swings, outdoor shower, fire pit with grill, and an outhouse. Access to the nearby creek is just minutes away.
The Magnolia is a great place to escape from the city. Some of the wildlife you may see or hear are cows, squirrels, rabbits, owls, coyotes and our free range chickens. We do ask that you give us a heads up if you plan to brings dogs so we can keep them in their coop for the day.
Enjoy the stars from the hammock swings or lay a blanket out in the grass. We also allow tent camping for extra people beyond our 2 person limit for the building itself.

This is our family farm, though you probably will not see us much. The campsite is located on a corner of the property on Cummins Creek and once you get there you will feel secluded in nature. Matt grew up here swimming, fishing and exploring in this creek...the creek has taught him more about life than anyone ever could. I hope that you too can understand why we always walk alway feeling like this is a very special spot! Amenities include a cowboy pool, courtyard seating and camp fire pit, hot showers, bathrooms (currently port-a-potties), fiber wifi, and a potable water/filling station/wash station.
We are in the customer service business, meaning we make it easy to camp (and celebrate!) with our beautiful 4-season canvas glamp tents and glamp vintage trailers. Just drive up to your tent and get ready to relax. All tents are fully furnished with made beds and critical supplies, and have picnic tables, chairs around the fire rings, firewood, and charcoal grills. Our premier platform tents also have electric, heat, Keurig coffee pots, coffee and more! Vintage trailers have everything you need as well inside and out. Reservations are available on both Hipcamp and Airbnb. We even offer to decorate for you in advance for special celebration occasions.

Quiet natural location away from the busy city. Located on a private access dirt road so a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle is recommended. There is a firepit but please burn inside the cinder blocks areas and keep it under control (not too big). Do not burn when it is windy. There should be wood available near the firepit. If more is needed, please help yourself to the branches on the land. Please make sure to completely put the fire out when done; there is a water tank near firepit to help you put out/soak the fire.
There are 6 acres and you are welcome to camp anywhere you like, in the open areas or in the woody areas at the back.
We have a RV barn area that can be used for shade, sitting, eating, relaxing, etc. You can use the tables and chairs. There is also a white water container on the table or the blue 55gal drum that you can use for washing.
There are two 32 gallon rubber trash buckets that you can put trash in but make sure lid is closed when you're done to keep animals out.
This site does have limited solar electric power in RV area. To use the microwave on the table, make sure to first power on the solar system by pressing the black button on the control box (see photo) on wall behind RV and then turn on the surge strip that microwave is plugged into. There is no running water so please plan accordingly.
There is currently not a toilet available but I'm planning on building a composting toilet soon. For now, use the natural way and make sure to bury.
For security, there is one camera on the property located near the front entrance and it is mainly for monitoring the front entrance area. There is also another camera near the north side of RV barn mainly for security of storage room and RV.
The RV barn currently already has a RV parked in it Our long-term plan is to also make the RV available, but we would need to install an in-ground septic system and electricity first.

5D is so close to home yet it feels so remote. This site was very large and surrounded by dense woods so it felt very secluded and private. The trails and sites are well maintained. We spent a great weekend here with friends and the kids loved exploring the trails.

My daughter and I rented The Happy Place for a few nights and it couldn't have been more perfect. Everything was set up so nicely in the glamping tent and the location was private, wooded and very quiet. Dana was very courteous and helpful and I'd highly recommend staying here ---I'll be back for sure.

I had a great experience at this campsite for second time. The area was clean, well-maintained, and felt safe the entire time. The sites were spaced out enough to give some privacy, which made it really relaxing. I especially liked how quiet it was at night—perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. Absolutely loved camping at 5d ranch!!
We had another camp site we were supposed to stay at but a tree fell over that campsite so very short notice we booked a spot at 5D ranch and they were very accommodating for us and we are greatly appreciative of it. The campsite was perfect. So many trees so was very shaded and having that seclusion as well being tucked back. The pond was awesome as well, we were able to take the boats out and had an amazing time! Absolutely loved it and are definitely coming back again!

Great little spot for just a weekend! Host were very friendly and accommodating. There was 9 of us in the cabin, and 3 of them were teenage boys! You might want to bring an extra fan or 2 for the bunk bed room. Bring games to play for indoors and outdoors.

5D ranch is a charming campground with a mixture of forest and meadow. The directions were clear, the host friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms far better than a porta potty.
Site 22 specifically is set just inside the edge of the treeline and has a view across the meadow. The bathroom is a short walk across the meadow. The ground is sandy and even after several days of heavy rain we didn’t have trouble with puddles or mud. There are no other campsites within 100 ft of site 22. There is plentiful shade, trees for hammocks, flat ground for a tent, and a centrally placed fire ring. We didn’t have trouble with bugs or ants.
Our kiddos did the “meet the ponies” and “feed the chickens” experiences and said that they had a great time. Overall we had a good experience and would stay here again

The ranch was a great place for our 3-night stay with our dogs. The site we chose (#9) was secluded and large - big enough for a family gathering. It was mostly shaded, which was great for keeping cooler on warm days. We noticed a lot of variety in the types of sites available - some on the smaller side, some very large, some remote, some in more open areas - so anyone should be able to find the right spot for their needs. The main bathroom (no electricity/hot water) was clean and well-kept. We enjoyed the trails, and even enjoyed getting a little lost in the woods! The host was friendly and efficient. I'd recommend it and would definitely go back.

This was our first camping trip with our toddler, and I couldn’t have found a better spot!
The property is peaceful, beautiful, and well kept. Julie took great care of us. Site 17 is secluded and surrounded by shade trees, close walk to an outhouse, and has easy access to trails. The lake is not far at all, and our son loved fishing, the boats, and just throwing rocks in the water.
We will definitely be back.

5D ranch was a wonderful stay! Campsites were in great condition and the property is well maintained (clear pathways, clean trails, etc).
Campsite 10 is very secluded and exactly what I was looking for. Perfect if you want to truly feel “away” from everyone but still a couple minutes walk from other sites and the out house. Other campers consisted of families & dogs that were all very kind! We were able to meet some folks at the fishing pond while having plenty of space to do our own thing.
But I must say that Julie and her family are what made this an incredible experience. From the second we checked in to the moment we left, Julie and her daughter were so welcoming. Felt like we had visited several times :) will definitely be back!
