For indoor washing, a five-gallon glass pitcher with a bowl serves as a rustic sink.
Sleeping is in the loft, up a steep staircase ladder, with a queen bed and lush linens. While not ADA-accessible and not suited for those needing special assistance, the setup is perfect for adventurous, able-bodied guests seeking a unique stay.
There are two other homes on the property, both occupied, but everyone respects each other’s privacy. No one will come to the treehouse during your stay. The owners live onsite in the main house and are available if you need anything, but will otherwise give you complete space.
The path to the treehouse is lit at night, but it can get very dark on the road—so bring a flashlight just in case.

What an amazing stay. We spent most of our first day exploring the surrounding area and left out early the next day to continue our trip, but would love to come back when we're able to spend more time enjoying the peaceful and beautiful nature. Also, to spend more time with the pups and meet all the other animals:)
The cool and laid back evening in the comfy woven chairs descending into music and laughter in a campsite all to ourselves... Soothed my Soul! Then falling asleep to the harmonious frogs and crickets... divine!

If I could give Broken Banjo more than 5 stars, I would! Our family of four stayed in the Treehouse Cabin and it exceeded our expectations. It was cozy, clean, well cared for, and tucked toward the back of the campground, which gave us a peaceful setting while still being an easy walk to everything.
The staff truly made our stay special. Karen patiently answered all of our questions before arrival. Steve went above and beyond by safely opening the pool after local storms so our boys could swim. We ended up having the pool and slide to ourselves for about two amazing hours! He also delivered our firewood that first night. Jody in the camp store was incredibly sweet and welcoming.
A HUGE shout-out to Eric! He was exceptional—kind, attentive, accommodating, and always making sure we had everything we needed. He kept the pool and activity areas clean and ready and always took time to check in with us. The pool was exceptionally clean every single time we went in! The wife and I enjoyed having coffee on the porch each morning.
Our 12-year-old loved the playground and the pool - while making new friends, on the other hand our 17-year-old loved basketball and the pool as well. We also enjoyed putt-putt, the water slide, grilling, a campfire, morning walks, and sitting on the porch watching a rainstorm. My wife and I even went down the slide and felt like kids again!
We always felt safe, welcomed, and cared for. We made amazing family memories and are already planning our return!

1 night at Darling Hill Glamp Camp
It stormed a bit and they went above and beyond. They checked on us, brought extra towels, and made sure we were comfortable! Absolutely nicest host.

3 nights at Kahu Farm
Lora and Dave were amazing. Lora's crafted "bug brew" works great for fleas and ticks. The campsite was well maintained and private, located in a picturesque woodland setting. Highly recommend.

7 nights at Historic Log Cabin
This was a lovely one room historic log cabin with an attached very nice bathroom. We had everything we needed for a one week stay.
We brought our Insta pot to cook with, but he also supplied a very good set up with a gas or charcoal grill to cook on.
It was a beautiful and great location. The host was exceptional, and we enjoyed visiting with him daily.
We would definitely stay there again!

With pets
Our host Ashley was wonderful. The cabin/bunkhouse felt new and was exactly as described. It has a great atmosphere with a wood burning stove, kerosene lamps, a big front porch with rocking chairs, a fire pit, and a grill. There’s no power but we did have cell service on our phones.
We got to meet all the beautiful horses; they were friendly and happy to be loved on, which made for a really special experience. We had a trail ride scheduled, but it git rained out.
Overall we had a great time and plan to go back in the fall.
