This beautiful place has been in my family for 3 generations. Since I was a child I loved having campfires and hiking. I used to imagine cabins speckling its landscape and story’s being told by travelers from far off places! Now that I am owner I can and will build those dreams and share them with as many folks as come to visit us! There’s 60 acres of hills for hiking a peaceful creek for meditation or just stick your feet in! A beautiful bamboo grove where we plan to build a camping platform in the very near future and you’ll be able to sleep in tha bamboo forest! We’ve come a long way in the last year, we have platforms, tents we can set up as glampers for those that love the idea but don’t want to have to set it all up. There’s several old buildings and unfinished projects left behind from my father we have a series of small cabins we will be building with them over the next 2 years it’ll be called “Boho Bottom”. We also host events, so far they are few and small but so much fun!! There is currently one communal bathroom with several more due to be built in the next year or so. As campers come the profit will help with future site development. Look forward to more updates as things develop!! We look forward to camp with you!

Near the main house where the restroom is located is the main camping area with platforms #1 and #2. Parking is permitted at sites where terrain allows, Some sites can only be accessed by hiking or 4 wheel drive. It is still quite primitive, tents can be used almost anywhere. We are improving RV/glamping sites as often as possible. These areas are ideal for large gatherings and spacious enough for all that want to gather together and get away from all the crazy!! OK guys I have an update! It is August 3, 2024 and I have pictures uploading of our very first glamper that is ready for short terms visitors. We also have platforms for pitching small tents on. I believe the big ones are 7 x 10 and the smaller one is approximately 7 x 5. Check other KatzLandia listings for details!

Welcome to KatzLandia we are very excited to share our vision with you! We are making progress slowly and expect to have several more glampers ready soon. Just wait till we get them themed, painted, and decorated accordingly!!! We are excited!!! Best feature is the space!! I plan to have large spaces so all can enjoy the true peace of the country! We are so excited to meet you all and for yall to see the property expand and change every year!! This area is approximately 3 acres of flat land with access to hiking and restroom (available at main house). We have tent camping space at the front and in the middle. Currently working on leveling and clearing an area in the bamboo near the creek!! We know you’ll love the serenity and nature!!

Hippie Haven is a nice place to visit, especially if you're looking to take a break from a hectic work life or to just get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Katrina was a great host; she was kind and welcoming, and she took the time to show me around the land a bit when I arrived. She also shared some of her ideas for how she would like to further develop camp areas and the overall community in the future. While the venue was a work in progress, there was plenty of room to pitch a tent and enjoy an evening fire while listening to the sounds of nature under a starry sky. If I get the opportunity, fall would be a good time to return for some lounging, reading, and perhaps a little yoga in the crisp autumn weather.
