The family we bought the farm from owned and farmed it since 1900. They built a cabin then and built a house around the cabin in 1920. We bought it in 2018 and have been renovating it to build a retreat center for first responders and others who serve unselfishly. To that end, we've cut hiking trails and campsites as well as filling the farm with livestock to help people slow down and de-stress. We have water, septic and electrical hook ups (50 amp). This is a back in site. If you are not comfortable backing in, this is not the site for you! If you are staying over the colder months, we do not allow the use of space heaters. You must be using propane to heat. This is a farm and you are free to roam about in the front field around the camp site and watch the sunset, relax and simply enjoy nature. We are less than an hour drive to 4 different Tennessee State Parks and about 40 minutes east of Nashville. We do not typically allow dogs for long term stays We have had some confusion come up because people aren't reading the site specifications, so here is the most important. It is a gravel site, so it is not level. We do have cinder blocks at the site to help with leveling. The site is going to accommodate rigs 35 to 36 ft max However, you MUST be comfortable backing your rig. In the winter, it is dark here by 4:30-5. So if you arrive at that time you will be setting up in the dark. Make sure you are reading the rules and safety for what is allowed here.

You will drive 2 miles down a chip sealed road and then almost a mile down a dirt road past where the public road ends. Stay as connected or as disconnected as you want. Our farm offers the perfect escape from the day to day race of life. If you want to get away come spend a few days with us!!! We only allow booking of one camp site at time to ensure your privacy. Upon arrival there are 2 sites to pick from(see map in photos section). Camp firewood available for purchase at the barn on your way in. You will find a coffee maker with supplies for coffee, hot chocolate and tea. Electric power is run by a large Yeti battery for all your charging needs . Lots of solar powered lights and string lights around the trees for a wonderful ambience in the evenings.
Our extras include firewood at 10/bundle,as well as homemade cookies, breads, fresh eggs, muffins, and even cupcakes or cakes can be ordered if you are celebrating a special day. Just get in touch a week before trip to let me know exactly what to bake for you. We can also provide some simple meals upon request. The cabin is a work in progress at this time, but we hope to post new photos soon!

We discovered this small homestead 18 years ago. It was built by a man preparing to go off grid, but he never did. In the intervening time, we became enthralled with growing vegetables, raising ducks, grazing sheep and hiking the hills behind us.
Then Nicole discovered permaculture and began the process of changing the land using these practices. With our three dogs, cats, goats, sheep, rabbits, ducks and chicken (there is only one chicken), things can be pretty merry around her. There are aquaponics and hydroponics to check out for fun. Plus, Nicole is one of the region's only craft coffee roasters, so you are in for a treat if you come visit and like coffee because she tends to make coffee most mornings.

Our property has a composting outhouse and the outdoor shower attached to the house has hot and cold water. We also have a nice, outdoor kitchen area to share that has a big sink and blackstone griddle. There is Wifi in the kitchen area and a plug for recharging devices.
The camp site is a two-minute walk from the driveway and outhouse so be prepared to carry items in and take your morning constitutional walk.
We sometimes have homestead-produced items for sale.
This is a functioning homestead, so we may be hosting an open house event, processing animals, or some other fun homestead happening activity during your stay.

Drive on in to a pull through site with full hookups. It's a gravel site with a concrete patio. This site is behind our barn. It has a picnic table and fire bowl with wood provided. It's peaceful and quiet with views of trees and the neighbors cows. You may see some deer and turkeys. There is a Dollar General and a Gas station 1 mile away. Convenient to I-65. It’s 30 miles to Nashville and 30 minutes to Bowling Green. Other places close by- 112 Antique Store, Sumner Crest Winery, and The Mint at KY Downs.

Really nice well kept spots, well spaced, most of them very private. I choose site three and after viewing the others I think I choose the best one. All of them are nice tho and I did not view the hike in spots as they are private to those who reserve them. The hiking trails were short , which worked well with my limited time there, but most led to a nice private stream. Had it been a bit warmer I can only imagine how nice it would have been to shower under the little waterfall (soap free of course). There is a nearby highway, it is distant enough that it is not bothersome at all, but if you're looking for that dead silent but for the sounds of nature night, you won't quite have that. Nice custom cooking grates for the fire rings.

Great secluded boondocking experience! Plenty of outdoor activities to do locally. This was a great weekend getaway with no kids. Site 3 was perfect for us as a couple. Sites on the creek (I think 4 and 7) look great for bringing the kids! Plan to return some day!

Christine’s land is so special. I had a great experience and I left so restored- exactly what I needed. I hope to suit up with lighter gear and camp but the river sometime in the future. Spending my afternoon there was truly so peaceful, but I loved my site (no. 6) and its blanket of green trees and incredible birdsong and butterflies. Truly can’t wait to visit again! Weekend Trip to Quarter Spring Farm
We cannot possibly recommend thunder dome any more enthusiastically! Our weekend was so relaxing. Heather greeted us upon arrival and helped us get everything to the dome. The dome itself is perfectly cozy and quaint. Wood stove was so nice and warm on a chilly spring night, and the bed was comfy. This is THE definition of glamping. And the property is gorgeous with several trails into the woods. Last but not least, their goats are absolutely adorable, and one even bonded with us and followed us back to the dome. Absolutely perfect place for a weekend getaway in nature!

Great spot just outside of town to crash for the night. Definitely read Michael's directions around finding and getting up the driveway. I arrived in an intense rainstorm and there were definitely some down branches on the driveway the next morning. My car has pretty low clearance (Subaru Impreza) but did just fine getting up and down. If I were staying longer in Nashville, I'd go back to this spot 🙏

This was such a peaceful spot! Waking up, I could hear woodpeckers knocking on the trees, during the afternoon butterflies flew around curiously, and at night the owls hooted in the trees. The nearby lake gave the perfect scenic view for some book reading. I can say without a doubt that I recommend this spot if you're looking for serenity!

This was by far one of the best camping experiences we have had as a family.
There is SO MUCH SO CLOSE to the campsite
You pull into parking and there's a wrapping trail that follows the creek starting at the top looking down off a 50-100 foot cliff (rough estimate) going around to the bottom where on the opposite side your looking up a 50 -100 foot cliff
Creek is right next to the campsite so you get to listen and hear the water all day and night it was amazing. The Water was lower when we went which was better for us as we had a toddler that could play with her life vest. There was two swimming holes i didn't get to check out in that bend that I can't wait to next time
Next jus a lil further down at their venue there is two water falls and a amazing wrapping cliff.
We played in the larger waterfall for one day and it was a blast
We got some pics and there's others on this site but truthfully the saying pictures don't do it justice really has never been more relevant. Alice was a amazing host and super helpful Thanks you so much for sharing your land with us and allowing us to experience this we can't wait to come back
