We are currently offering 4 treehouse dwellings to share our peaceful land full of God's promises. The dwellings are spaced far enough apart for privacy yet not to far of a walk to the common area where the kitchen and shower are. You'll be surprised at how cool the tents stay under the forest canopy in the heat of summer. Then in the colder months we have various heating options to keep you cozy in 3 of the dwellings I hope you come to share this with us, it's an amazingly peaceful area. Nearly 3 miles of hiking trails to enjoy during your visit. Take a spur trail off the main trail loop and there is a prayer shelter with a fire pit inspired by Luke 6:12 in the back corner of the property. Located at the edge of the prarie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, propane grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill. A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer! We look forward to hosting you!

I had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Standing Bear! While I wasn't actively hiking, I got to enjoy the community of hikers who stop at this beautiful property on their way on the AT. I stayed in the private room top tree house and enjoyed the evening fires and open air kitchen. I was met with accommodating and generous staff ( Rodney and Grateful) who made sure I felt welcome and had what I needed. The owner, Maria clearly has a heart for all the people who come through. Lots of love for Standing Bear and I hope to be back as a hiker one day!

We had a great stay in Tree Solo! The hosts at GlampKnox thought of everything— we had a bug net to keep the tent insect-free, our own outhouse, water, power, fans, and lanterns. The land is beautiful, and the horses and barn cat are an added bonus! Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved this place. Teesolo is the best site in property. The staff was incredibly accommodating. The facility was beautiful. The outdoor shower was so cute and the bathroom was clean! I was also super surprised that there was also an outhouse by the tent. The tent stayed perfectly dry and I had no issues with mosquitoes or anything of that nature. They even provided an extra bug screen incase I slept with the door open. My pups and I Absolutely loved this place. The front porch Absolutely was the icing ontop of the cake. 10/10 could not recommend this enough. Id love to come back and stay for a longer period of time.

Beautiful spot. We stayed in the solo tent which I recommend if you want extra privacy. The barn is so beautiful. The outdoor shower located at the barn is such a great space. Everything was super clean, the host was really responsive through the app, and they provided clean water for dishes. Easy to find given the written directions. Just an overall great space. Would stay again!

We enjoyed Tree Solo with our recent stay. The property is well kept and in a nice location, close to attractions in Knoxville yet wooded and private for those who want to stay in. I would recommend a more level location for the fire pit as it is sloped and cannot sit around the fire & maybe some fold up tables for inside to eat. Otherwise the place is great & peaceful. The mattress is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on and I really want one for my home 😊

GlampKnox was beautiful, and the Tree Solo tent was amazing. Exactly as pictured, private but not too remote from the other 3 tents. Luxurious mattress was so comfy, cordless lanterns and fans handy, a large Jackery charger so I could keep my phone charged and have extra lights. I didn’t use the portable heater, but was very comfy all night with an additional down comforter I brought, even at 36 degrees! Pristine grounds and stables, with nearby well appointed bathrooms. Great communication from the host. So glad I found this this place—I’d definitely come back.
