Great campground! Sites are spacious, water, electricity and plenty of firewood. I camped with three of my grandchildren, the camp hosts were so kind and friendly to them, we enjoyed all the animals, along with a trail ride on the horses! They are already asking when can we camp here again! 🏕️🐪🐴

Fantastic view - best of any campground in the past and probably the future!
We had a great time talking with our neighbors and making new friends. Great location to launch into hikes, rafting, site seeing.
Site has excellent grading and water/power/sewer.

My night at Fall Creek Stables was quiet. There was only one other camper. The storefront was intriguing with lots of antiques and odd items that could grab your eye for hours. The grounds were very organized and clean with a couple cords of neatly stacked firewood at every campsite. The bathroom and showers were very well kept, including the recreation and laundry rooms. I didn’t get a chance to go on a guided horse ride, but groups came and went, and it looked like they enjoyed themselves. It’s evident that Dale has put serious effort into having a sweet little campground, that all ages will enjoy.

We had a great time! Loved reading and listening to the sound of the creek and warming up by the fire. Our host was so incredibly kind and helpful. Having the bath house so close was SO nice and the store as well! The only service that works out there is AT&T so be mindful if you’re needing to stay connected. The site was right down the road from some absolutely breathtaking views and gorgeous rapids. We can’t wait to come back!

Awesome spot. View was amazing and the facilities were very nice and well kept. While being secluded up the mountain, there is a Food City and Ace Hardware within 12-15 minutes which came in very handy for a supply run!

By far the most beautiful view of any campsite I’ve ever had! Getting to the site was more challenging than I’m used to — he isn’t kidding about 4x4 being strongly suggested, but my Frontier was able to pull my GeoPro up the climbs without problems. The site itself was very level and easy to back into, the the hookups were convenient. Garbage cans are provided. The cabin provides good WiFi.
The only negative thing thing I can say about the site is that if you want privacy this might not be your place. The sites are right next to each other, which is in turn next to a cabin. There were two other sites occupied while I was there and everyone was respectful.

Weekend Trip to Waterside lot
The site was great with a nice view of the small pond. Very quiet, gated community with a lot of nice tiny homes for permanent residents. Also, the location is close enough to Blue Ridge to uber over if you didn’t tow a car. Will probably go again sometime.

We were switched to Site 1. What a beautiful property! The store is a huge convenience, bathhouse was great and we had plenty of room. The small creek lulled us to sleep each night.

Stunning Ridge- a Great Escape**
My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic 2-day stay at Ocoee Ridge Camp's Big Frog RV site in our Sprinter Van. Perched on the ridges of Cherokee National Forest near Old Fort, TN, it offers jaw-dropping panoramic views of mountains and valleys. Booking was seamless online, and the gravel roads were manageable (AWD or 4WD make it easy for larger rigs).
The site is spacious with full hookups (20/30/50-amp, water,, very strong WiFi, picnic table, and fire pit.
We grilled steaks at sunset, sat by the fire, and woke to magical morning vistas from our van bed.
Days were spent hiking and mountain biking the gravel trails then relaxing under the awning; evenings featured epic sunsets and a moonrise highlight.
Peaceful, private, and uncrowded with friendly staff. A must for van-lifers in the Southeast— Chris and the entire staff were great!! we'll return soon!

I stayed here for a long weekend and it was absolutely worth it and I will be back again. The property is amazing and the spots sit above the clouds looking over the Ocoee basin and the mountains. The sites are full hookups which are nice especially in the warmer months. There are only 4 sites and they are a little close so it would be great to reserve them all at once with friends. The owner came by several times to check in but otherwise extremely private! Highly recommend!

in a word, Chris' camp and cabin sites are gorgeous! The views of the Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia mountains are spectacular! We happened to be at Ocoee Ridge on a transition week for them and had the entire place to ourselves which made for a very quiet, reflective time. I rather don't want to tell you all of this because i want to keep this place a secret. But, it is a wonderful place to camp.

Absolutely amazing! Clean spacious new bathroom. The site (#19) was nestled between the trees. Firewood is available. There were so many horses, sheep, goats, kittens and even a dromedary and a zebra. The host was super easy going and nice. Went on a horseback ride in the morning before continuing our road trip, which was so much fun! It’s also super close to the Fall Creek Falls, which are absolutely stunning. Highly recommend camping here!

We really had a wonderful experience at the stables campground. The site was perfect well stocked with firewood and the bath house was ultra clean and a nice friendly staff at the stables. We really enjoyed a horseback ride around the property, which is one of the highlights of our trip. Much more private than the state park campground, and we will definitely be back.

Dale welcomed us upon arrival. The sites were clean, and well appointed. A BBQ grill/fire pit, with wood ready to burn. A beautiful forested private setting, with a large picnic table, convenient hook ups and exceptional water pressure. The bath house is clean and well designed. We really enjoyed our stay for the strawberry full moon. The night bird calls and the fireflies were an added bonus. We also took a ride with Dallas (guide), Big Red horse and Rocky at the stables. The horses were well behaved and Dallas was knowledgeable and kind. We enjoyed the many flowers, mushrooms, and beautiful trees.
We definitely plan to return.
