Great hikes, picnic areas, dogs to pet, bluegrass music sometimes, 2.5 miles from Burgess Falls, 12 min to Walmart.  We offer multiple cabins for rent, a lodge, or camp sites (both tent and RV spots available). I definitely healed up well at Dan’s cabin in Sparta!! I loved writing music on my cabin porch looking at beautiful green hills with mini ponies roaming around!! The trails on the property were awesome! And at night i loved picking on the guitar with Dan and his family! They were so kind and real genuine people! I highly recommend this hip camp, he has multiple cabins, all unique and special! Plus its close to so many amazing state parks, waterfalls, and swimming holes!!!"

Weekend Trip to The Home Place

We had a great time at Hawk's Nest. It was so peaceful and private. We packed a lot of our camping gear, just in case, but barely need to take anything out of the car. Our dogs loved running around and exploring. The bedroom was comfortable and we stayed warm even though the nights were chilly. The location is perfect for hiking. We were able to make it to both Burgess Falls and Rock Island. We hope to make it back and stay longer next time.

Weekend Trip to The Home Place

We enjoyed our stay at Hawk's Nest. Dan and Jo were super to visit with and very accomodating. It was a pleasure to be on their beautiful farm and feel so warmly welcomed. The wild life around the property is amazing. We saw possums, a marching procession of armadillos, the friendly dog Martin, racoons, and heard so many owls at night. I recommend it for a camp get away that will get you super close to Cane Hollow Rec area where you can access the lake and kayak up to the base of Burgess Falls.

Weekend Trip to CrowMocker Cabins And Camping

Loved the land and have been multiple times. The hosts are fantastic and attentive people. A lot has gone into the land. Rich history as well. This is a great place to overland if you love your 4x4 like we do and want to use it. Shuttle up the mountain if you do not have the capability. 10 out of 10!

We went for a weekend climbing in the Obed. The place really had everything we needed and nothing we didn't need. Oh, and it's so close to the Obed climbing and the one-of-a-kind Lilly Pad.
