2 nights at Belle and Beau Acres

This is such a beautiful place to camp. We stayed during the middle of the week and had the entire place to ourselves. We hiked into site number 4. The path is as steep as advertised! But since the hike in is so short you can still bring luxury items like a real pillow. Sleeping next to the creek was so relaxing. It felt like we had hiked miles into a national park without all the effort. We're looking forward to visiting again!

Belle & Beau campground is the perfect base camp for waterfall viewing in the area! You’re only 30 minutes from Cummins Falls, Burgess Falls, and Rock Island. Site 4 was beautiful, we especially enjoyed the variety of flora and fungi and the appearance of synchronous fireflies was absolutely magical. Pack efficiently to get gear in and out of the campsite, the hill down to the site is no joke- but once you are settled in you are in heaven! Enjoy!

This place was great! Easy to find, great communication from the start and the land was beautiful. We didn’t get to explore much with bad weather in the area but there was plenty to do right on the property and the sites were spacious. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic camping site - loved hearing the stream during our whole stay. Plenty of privacy & space to spread out (2 adults, 2 kids and 1 dog). It was great meeting Christine too when we checked in - they run an awesome Hipcamp. We would love to come back!

This was our first experience using HipCamp and it was amazing! We chose to hike in and camp. A lot of work, but definitely worth it to be right by the river. It was so peaceful and beautiful there! Our vacation was absolutely perfect!

Amber was a great host! Kept me updated regularly on the weather. Would love to come back to this quiet little river side place during the dry season. Had some bad storms but was kept updated by amber regularly. Even offered to move me to a different site. The site itself was nice. Right by the river. Perfect little getaway to do some fishing. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

We had a great time tent camping on Christine’s land! All of the sites were spread out enough for good privacy and Christine was great about instructions. There was a small waterfall/creek the kids loved playing in and the field was a great open spot for star gazing . Would recommend!

Christine of Belle and Beau Acres owns this absolutely beautiful property. With several short and easily accessible nature trails, a small but unique waterfall, and easy access to several creek waters, this was exactly what I was looking for. The campsites were well-tended, private, and in beautifully wooded areas. There are also a couple centrally-located open fields, should you want to go stargazing at night. For anyone wanting a return to real camping, this was the perfect venue for me, my 5-year old, and dog. My only tips would be to make sure you bring water, and don't forget to pack those water-shoes! 5 stars -- Highly recommended. We will be returning to the property this summer.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time. The site was very private (#5), but not remote. It was very quiet and serine, with the sound of the stream gently in the background. They have a great system to get more firewood, when needed, and it was only a short ride away. The hiking options were great too, with several difficulty options ranging from easy to challenging. And the challenging hike was definitely worth it, with a beautiful waterfall at the end of it. It was just enough of trek for this type of camping. Lastly, the host was incredibly cordial, and very thorough in her mapped layout of the property. All the sites and trails also had very clearly labeled signs, so there was never any question where we were. You can tell they take great pride and care of their beautiful land. My partner and I have been doing the Hipcamp thing for 3 seasons now and this might the best experience we’ve had yet (and we’ve had some good ones). We would definitely camp here again!

A short list of what to expect on site includes: PRIVACY - ADVENTURE - GETAWAY Quick response time/Clear communication Spacious, shady, leaf-bed campsites 360 degree views of relaxing nature 27 Foot Waterfall (365 days of flow except during severe drought) Rock shelter under Ledge Waterfall Two shallow lazy rivers for soaking Hiking trails onsite Multiple spring-fed creeks Countless water cascades for exploring Star gazing over wide pastures Old forests for ample shade and hammock hanging Cellular reception at campsites (usually at least 1 bar) Please read the site descriptions carefully to match your style of camping with the appropriate campsite. BBA guests frequently camp with a tent, vehicle, smaller camper, hammock tent, roof top tent, pop-up camper and similar styles. Most photos in this listing are taken onsite. Please keep in mind this is primitive and wild Tennessee landscape that may also contain poisonous plants and wildlife in or around camp. Access to fresh water fun is a short down-hill hike for all guests, with the exception of our hike-in campsites which are positioned alongside the river. Each spot has been strategically selected to provide as much privacy as possible, and comfortably accommodates groups with two vehicles. We provide a rock fire pit and heavy-duty, cast-iron grill grate. You provide everything else, including drinking water and personal toilet waste bags if you plan to use our system. The hike-in sites come with extra seating. Every guest must be included on your reservation, and adult guests may be required to provide identification. Thank you! COMMUNITY COMFORT STATION: There is a comfort station with an outdoor shower stall for hanging your own solar shower bag. The comfort station also includes a changing room which doubles as a private place to use your portable camping toilet. A toilet seat and bucket system is provided but guests will need to use their own waste disposal bags, available at most camping supply stores. The backside of the comfort station has a rain barrel (not potable) collection system for extinguishing fires. OFF-ROAD CONDITIONS: Due to the primitive nature of our location, all reservations should expect hilly terrain and potential bumpy or some muddy road access, especially after heavy rain. We ask all guests to help us minimize impacts by driving with care. Vehicles with low ground clearance or low-profile tires are no longer permitted to use the off-road drive and must park at the entrance. If you want a campsite with the shortest walk from the entrance parking area, you will want to select campsite 5, 9 or 6. When the road is open during unusually wet periods, we recommend AWD or 4WD as a precaution. We are continuously working on improvements for our off-road drive. Belle and Beau Acres is a farm homestead with a personal campground, conveniently located less than five minutes from I40. Expect nothing short of 360 degree views of relaxing nature, privacy, and spontaneous adventure when recreating at this agritourism location. Central to the most beautiful middle Tennessee destinations, BBA is the perfect home base for hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing excursions to at least 10 nearby state parks and lakes. Conveniently located on the Eastern Highland Rim between Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga in the lower Appalachian mountains, this area sits at the Upper Cumberland Plateau and is part of Tennessee's largest micropolitan area of Cookeville. We offer camping ranging from primitive tent sites, to an actual cabin. Hikers, kayakers, canoes, Horses and riders welcome, located a couple miles from Daniel Boone National Forrest, seemingly endless trails through some of the most beautiful country. Bring your canoe and kayaks. Located 16 miles from Cumberland Falls State Park. Located 11 miles from Sheltowee Trade Adventure Park. Located 11 miles from Kentucky Splash Water Park. 11 miles from The Mint Casino!! Clayton Geneva Camp Ground began as a retreat for our family since the 70's. My grandparents, Donald Clayton Russell & Jewel Geneva (Davis) Russell, purchased this little piece of heaven to get away from the hustle and bustle of Cincinnati life. Judy was born in a little cabin just down the road. Judy & Don along with many family members have made cherished memories here over the years. We want to share its beauty with you and your family. Please consider, Clayton Geneva is a primitive campground, gravel drives and left as natural as possible. This is not a sculpted campsite or a concrete campground. The primitive area is as such, gravel, grass, sand terrain accessible by a one lane gravel drive that leads over the hill and around the cliff to the riverbank. This drive is absolutely passable however is left bumpy to keep traffic at a safe speed as pedestrians also walk the drive. It is passable by any vehicle as long as the vehicle is not overloaded beyond its ability and/or has an extremely low profile. Any area that is not an actual campsite is left to nature, not manicured, trimmed or sculpted. As you’ll find all the sites are clear please don’t expect micromanaging of wild growth of our native plants in areas around the sites as we reserve those areas for the wildlife to enjoy. Please consider all the above mentioned details, primitive campsites are not for everyone and that’s ok.
