The Property: Located north of Cookeville in the rolling hills and farmland, our property is on Spring Creek, a state scenic river. Situated between two waterfalls and featuring over half a mile of river frontage to explore. Float, fish and relax listening to the cascading water. Perfect for bird watchers- blue and green herons, ospreys, hawks, bald eagles and more. You may spot the creek critters- minks, beavers, and otters. Various types of bass, craw dad's and minnows are in the creek. We operate similar to a state park. We are open to the public from 10am-7pm, peak season. We have other listings that are spaced so each of our guests has privacy. Please see aerial photo for an overview. We sometimes have small events (birthday parties, ect) at the pavilion. Please feel free to message us first, if you would like to see if there are any events during your stay. There are 2 restrooms centrally located at the pavilion. One bathroom has a shower with hot water, soap, shampoo/conditioner included. The restrooms are shared with our other listings. There are USB and regular outlets in the pavilion and WiFi. During warm season the outdoor kitchen is available as well. We also rent out a Suite which is located above the pavilion. Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. Pets are welcome as long as they are leashed and picked up after. Please note there is a gun range 2 hollers away and depending on the season, it can be heard from our property. Tent in the Trees Listing: Your tent site is built above the trail and overlooking the creek. The tent is equipped with a queen bed, linens, extra blankets & essential cooking gear. There is a fire pit with grill and griddles for cooking over wood or charcoal. Really, all you need is clothes, food and drink! Primitive Camp Site: The rustic camp site is DIY. It is 300' from pavilion, and 600' from Tent in the Trees. We provide a picnic table and fire pit You bring all the rest of your gear. Typically, you may park next to your campsite. No RV's, converted vans are permitted. If you have a very small camper, please message us to see if we can accommodate. There are no hookups, and no loud generators allowed. Please consider, Clayton Geneva is a primitive campground, gravel drives and left as natural as possible. This is not a sculpted campsite or a concrete campground. The primitive area is as such, gravel, grass, sand terrain accessible by a one lane gravel drive that leads over the hill and around the cliff to the riverbank. This drive is absolutely passable however is left bumpy to keep traffic at a safe speed as pedestrians also walk the drive. It is passable by any vehicle as long as the vehicle is not overloaded beyond its ability and/or has an extremely low profile. Any area that is not an actual campsite is left to nature, not manicured, trimmed or sculpted. As you’ll find all the sites are clear please don’t expect micromanaging of wild growth of our native plants in areas around the sites as we reserve those areas for the wildlife to enjoy. Please consider all the above mentioned details, primitive campsites are not for everyone and that’s ok.

Our Little House by the Pond is a one Bedroom King Size bed, one bath, kitchenette with full size refrigerator and living room. Bedroom and Living room furnished with Smart TV, kitchen is supplied with all utensils and bathroom with towels only. The Terry Farm is formally a running Dairy Farm est. in 1947 until 2001 now the Love and Peace put into the land still applies and we share it with you, come and enjoy a peaceful stay with us. All ponds are off limits and no fishing or boating, swimming, ice tubing or ice skating is allowed. The pond is for viewing and wildlife watching only. if you see deer on the property they are off limits as well. No fishing or hunting allowed on the property. We camped for 13 days. I would recommend Mrs. Amber and her staff a hundred times over. Herself and her staff Ms. Abbey and Mr. Payten are amazing people. First our battery died and Mrs Amber had stepped away from the site So while she was away she contacted Ms. Abby at her other job ,to come and jump us . When Ms. Abby arrived it was astonishing to see a well round and grounded 18 yr old these days who would leave there job just to give someone a jump. Thanks again Ms Abby. The bathroom was warm showers were hot yes hot in the winter months. We stayed with Mrs. Amber 13 days beautiful sight even when it rained I got in 2 days of fishing the best time ever. If you don't go see Mrs Amber and her staff You would miss out on a lot canoeing, honey, you name it Mrs. Amber has including but not limited to amazing and friendly neighbors we even took long walks. Compassionate, polite, respectful. You get all the bells and whistles with this camp grounds They treat like a human being and not like $$$$ dollar signs. She has electric cabins and wagons, RV hookups We can't say enough about This site Other than. CAMP, RV OR GLAMP HERE YOU WON'T REGRET YOUR CHOICE OH YES SHE HAS FRESH MEAT,,EGGS AND THE fresh produce is down the street with Walmart 6 miles from you on your way to Walmart you bypass a huge water park. Mrs Ambers site has a lot to offer. If I could give her 100 STARS I WOULD. WE WILL SEE YOU SOON MRS. AMBER THANK YOU AGAIN FOR AMAZING SERVICES AND SIGHTS OH YEA 🐕 FRIENDLY

Very unique camping experience with all the anemities you need. It's cozy, fun, and had a great morning sunrise view. Waking up each morning to the sun popping up between the trees was awesome. The outdoor area and patio over looking the small pond is relaxing as well. And close to Big South Fork, which was a gorgeous hike was a bonus as well.

5 nights at Patrick's Point River Camp

We had a very relaxing and peaceful five-night stay at Patrick’s Point River Camp in our 21’ camper. This is a huge property on the Cumberland River in southeast Kentucky. They offer everything from remote primitive tent camping to FHU RV sites. Our Premium RV site on the river could benefit from more gravel but was located under shade mere steps away from the shower house. Access to the campground could be challenging for an inexperienced driver pulling a car behind an 45’ Class A, but the road in was fine for us pulling a small trailer. Bathroom and shower facilities were clean and had good hot water and water pressure. The real reason we’ll be back was the hosts Patrick and Angelica. We have never been made to feel so welcomed in the five years we’ve been camping. They have mastered the perfect blend of providing excellent service and giving their guests space. Eager to offer recommendations for adventures or eating establishments, we were treated like family. We highly recommend Patrick’s Point River Camp!
