Loved this site. Great tent platform—-and perfectly secluded. Will be using again!

Wonderful experience! It was very remote and peaceful which is exactly what we were looking for. The view of the woods and hills was incredible! Definitely worth it! Only thing to note is that the drive up could be tough if you don’t have the vehicle for it. Road is very rocky due to rockslides and you have to drive through two creeks. I have a Honda HRV and it went just fine. Just be cautious if you have a lower vehicle, and make sure you have good tires!

Weekend Trip to Eagle Lode

If you need somewhere away from the rush of people but still want to be close enough for the action, this spot is for you. You’ll hear turkeys and lots of birds singing throughout your day, not to mention the beautiful rushing creek nearby to the site that makes it picture perfect. Site isn’t very hard to find, even at night as the path up is slightly lit and very easy to see in the dark, if you have a bigger vehicle like my Silverado, turning around to get into the spot isn’t the most fun, but it’s very doable and worth it to come. The 2 creeks might look large but they are very shallow when you cross them. The hosts were wonderful and answered any questions before I even booked. Come here for a central location that still makes you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere while at camp.

5 nights at Redwater Revival Campground

We had a great time here, beautiful property bordered by a crystal clear stream. During the week we spent there, we were the only guests. Great views of the nearby buttes, lots to explore nearby. Herb was a great host, checking in on us occasionally to make sure we survived all the rain. He suggested some nearby sights to visit, and even put some extra gravel on the access road so we wouldn’t get stuck. The campsites are situated along a wide strip of land along the stream. Sites 1, 2, 3 are closer together, 4 is the most private. There is a porta-potty near the first 3 sites, and just a short walk from site 4. Birds and waterfowl are everywhere, and are your morning alarm clock. Geese, ducks, wild turkey, and deer may pass by for a visit. Beautiful area, beautiful property, gracious host. We plan on visiting again with our family, next time.

Beautiful site on a clear creek with deer and turkeys to watch at dusk and dawn. There is a clean porta-potty at the site and a nice picnic table by the creek. Very private and safe. Herb is very attentive and eager to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There was a storm the night I was there and he was very concerned about me. Planning to come back here next year!

Beautiful flat site right by the water. Big enough for our truck with roof top tent and awning to keep us out of the weather. The host’s written directions were also easy to follow for a first timer.

Redwater Revival Campground

Book a peaceful and beautiful site on a private creek. The Redwater Revival Campground joined Hipcamp and was open during the 2020 summer season. Herb met and accommodated many wonderful guests and had a blast doing it. The red bluff in the background was a very strategic vantage point for early Indigenous Americans for hunting game that roamed the creek bottom. The rest of this exciting story will have to be heard when you get here. The Redwater Creek is full of Brown and Rainbow trout. They are sneaky little buggers that can actually hear your footsteps when you are fishing along the bank. Please make sure that you stay with us for some very restful mesmerizing sleep along our part of the creek at the Redwater Revival Campground.
