Had a great, peaceful stay with Laure! The location is perfect if you want to go to Spearfish, Deadwood, do anything in the Black Hills or if you need a place to stay for a night. Its a quiet location with beautiful views. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back!

We had an absolutely wonderful one-night stay at Blue Tin Ranch in our rooftop tent! The property is incredibly beautiful and well-maintained. We loved being able to plug in and charge up our gear, which was a huge plus for us. The indoor bathrooms and showers were fantastic—spotlessly clean and so nice to use after a day of traveling. It is a peaceful, welcoming, and unique spot. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great camping experience!

I really enjoyed my time at Katie and Chris's farm. The place is really clean and peaceful, the shower facilities are top notch and Katie and her daughter made me a killer pizza. I truly appreciate host's like them. I would recommend staying at there place. Also it's really motorcycle friendly.

Day 28 tent Chronicles. Ducks quacks, deer, and a pair Yellow Warblers! No shortage on mosquitoes, but I spray tent, boots, and clothes, lit a fire and it did the trick. There are Windows here where you hear nothing but Nature. However you can still hear the City of Aberdeen around the clock,  from industrial noise, to trains, and the occasional siren.
It’s absolutely magical otherwise. There’s lots of hidden charms around the 20 Acres, including a 1958 Edsel classic along one of its many paths, where I must of ran across the same deer 3 different times in half hour lol. There will be a tour today at 2:00 for the Castle. No work today, first day I decided to take off in 27days. Slept in, ate donuts, and fixing to make instant coffee, thought about trying yoga, they have some spot closer the the Castle where it looks more comfortable

I camped for my Outdoors Unsupervised YouTube channel in a tent with a hotstove in the snow. I enjoyed the serenity of this location. It did have electric to run a light and charge up cameras gear. They do also have more sought after lodgin' but I'd rather camp outside. The bonus was it had a shower house with heated bathroom. Def cheapest and best camp I ever used on HipCamp so far. They also provided a small fridge and a coffee maker with coffee in the shower/bathroom housin' area. Had an amazin' time. I did leave a day early cause 35mph winds was expected at 7AM and in a tent that is def not desirable. Cooked some amazin' meals while there. All videos post on YT Start Feb 9th

The location was right off the highway but once you get to your spot the road noise was very minimal. Host was very accommodating for a very last minute booking (less than 2 hours warning with a 9pm arrival). Host was out of town but very responsive to messages and helped how she could, we are pretty low maintenance though. It was very windy in this area but I think if you only had a tent you could find some way to break the wind easily. There were other guests on the property but no problems arose and everyone kept to themselves. Bathroom/shower access was a huge plus. Also super friendly kitty cats on property. The parking was ample, the fire pit was awesome and this met all of our needs for backpacker car camping 👍🏽
