Just a short drive is the beautiful South Mountains State Park, which is the perfect place for hiking or a picnic. Also within a short distance is Yogi Bear Campground with Blue Ridge Mountain Coaster and the new Cherry Bounce Adventure Park. We also partner with local wedding venues that are also very convenient to our location. Some of these include Zimmerwald Estate, Farm Haven, The Venue at Don's Pond, Mountain View Barn and Venue, Creekside Farm Venue and The Farm at Belwood. Other attractions include Tryon Equestrian Center, Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. You can find plenty to do nearby or you can just sit by the fire, relax and enjoy the beauty here around us. You will enjoy a peaceful and private location surrounded by 65 acres of farmland. On site, there is a nice trail through the woods that leads to a beautiful creek area with a picnic table and fire pit. This is a working farm so you may hear or see an occasional tractor or side by side passing nearby. Across the road is our historic farmhouse that was built in 1880, which is also a vacation rental. This property is over 200 acres with cattle and a couple horses. It is common to see deer, wild turkeys, and other wildlife in the area. *We do allow pets, but we have a pet fee of $40 per pet for up to 2. This has to be selected when booking as an "extra." We do ask that you keep pets off of furniture and clean up after them outside to keep things nice for the next guests.*

I can't say enough good things about Patrick, his hospitality, and the sites and amenities available. This was our second trip at DogPatch and once again, an amazing and memorable experience was had. From the cow trough bath, to watching deer, to identifying spider species we had never seen before, it's all an experience we will never forget. Both times, as we are packing to leave, we are always thinking about another good weekend to come back out. Thanks so much for being an amazing host Patrick! Hopefully we will see y'all again soon.

Quiet, small compound for no more than 6 campers. You are on top of a hill from which you can glimpse the lake. Walk down the well maintained path and onto the dock and the view of the lake opens up. I enjoyed bird watching and star gazing while I was there. I plan to return.

Weekend Trip to Dogpatch Farms

I honestly don't know where to start. Patrick is AMAZING! He went the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. He explained current amenities offered, and plans for futures ones which I'm excited about. The bath was hot and so relaxing, I could lay down completely unlike in my own tub and I'm 5'8. The campsite we chose close by the river was quiet, level, and nothing but wildlife. We saw deer while cooking dinner and listened to various bird songs. We went on a small walk along the river and saw a beaver dam and the biggest orb weaver spider we had ever seen. Plenty of wood around when we went to get the fire started to cook on and keep warm. That fire was HOT! Cooked our salmon, corn, and potatoes straight on the coals in foil. Even though we stayed for one night, we fell in love quickly with the views and hospitality. I'm sure our dog even made the best memories on this camping trip. We will DEFINITELY be back with friends. Thanks so much for an unforgettable experience.

Such an amazing campsite, and the host were more amazing! Faith based setting too which we were super grateful for. The host made sure we were taken care of with firewood, helping take out things by 4-wheeler to the campsite. They are outstanding!

We had a lite dusting of snow, and its still easy access to the couples camper.

We spent the weekend in the bus and absolutely loved it! The kids loved the driver's seat and the sitting area upstairs. It was an awesome night escape with nothing but the stars above. They have thought of literally everything you need. The view and atmosphere were lovely! It's a nice place to forget the city life. We will definitely do it again. The host is very attentive and pleasant.

1 night at Eden in Lancaster, SC

We loved the area! So beautiful and peaceful! The host had everything ready for us and we didn’t run into big issues. However the ad said 6 people max and I think that’s a little misleading. It was just 2 of us and there was not a lot of room in the camper. It would be a good spot for more people who brought tents to put up outside the camper. Again we enjoyed it and I recommend, just be aware of the amount of space inside.
