We are less than 5 minutes from the entrance to Paris Mountain State Park which boasts amazing hiking, fishing, and mountain biking. We are on 3 acres at the base of Paris mountain, only 2 miles outside Travelers Rest, but it feels like you're in the middle of no where. 15 minutes to Greenville, 6 miles to Furman University, and right on one of the main bicycling roads. We have an on site private workout studio with plenty of equipment, including bike trainers (in case it's raining). There are lots of chickens on site so you can have free range eggs.

We have one campsite on our 1.5 acre property. Located 2 miles from downtown Tryon, where you'll find restaurants and shops. The property is on the Pacolet River. Guests are welcome to fish and use the fire pit area on the river. There is also a small Airbnb on the property. The river, fire pit area are to be shared with all guests. The campsite is located next to our bathhouse that offers a shower, toilet, sinks, and washer dryer unit.
Property line runs along the large pine trees near the river, we ask that you stay on our property only. The surrounding area is still cleaning up from Hurricane Helene. HWY 176 from Saluda to Tryon is closed. Come to the property from the Tryon side.

Fishing and Tent Camping on a beautiful privately owned naturally spring feed 2.5 Acre pond. Pond fully stocked with Catfish, Yellow Carp, Buffalo Carp, Bass, and Brim. We do allow eating size catfish under 5lbs to be taken from lake. Large catfish and all other types of fish are catch and release only. No fishing license required. Typically caught fish weigh in at 20lbs plus. Some catfish as large as 80lbs. Enjoy peacefully fishing all night with your friends and family on a lighted fully stocked pond. Each campsite has its own fire pit so you are welcome to bring firewood and enjoy cooking out or having smores by the fire.

Loved our stay at the Bend. It was very quiet & private. No issue with noise or disturbance (even on a Saturday evening). Our hosts were extremely quick and responsive and wanted to ensure our stay went well (which it did). Fun to be camping on the river, but still just a few minutes to downtown Greenville. A couple girl friends and my dog and I came to get some time away and this was an absolutely amazing spot! The lake had plenty of fish to catch (and release) and there was tons of wood to grab around the area to make a fire with. The area was very quiet and still pretty close to town for grabbing essentials. Neil was an excellent host and was very responsive to texts with our questions! We would love to come back here! It’s a little slice of heaven!

We had a great weekend staying in the Teela Springs Cabin at Cold Springs Basecamp! It was probably the easiest camping trip we’ve ever done as a family. No need for a tent or cooking gear since it was all included with the cabin. A great way to get outdoors and spend time with the family. The cabin had a lot of privacy compared to the other sites we saw which we really enjoyed.

The property is a gem in this area. The rustic cabin was perfect for our group. The facilities were impressive. Nicest campground bathrooms I have ever been in. The cold plunge and sauna was a nice touch and unique. There are trails on the property for hiking or biking and even a waterfall. Great place to base camp and would highly recommend to anyone!

This was an excellent spot. It was very private since it was the only spot and secluded. The host was excellent. Bring you own utilities but it did It have a good clean pit toilet. There were plenty of tables and a large fire pit with a good view. I would definitely stay here again.

Second time staying at Camp Site #2. It’s become our favorite place to be with our family of 4. We love the privacy of the site, the level space for our large tent, the river that’s a perfect mix of stones and sand, and the closeness of having the bathroom/shower building. It fits the bill for our family! Craig is always so responsive so that adds peace of mind should anything come up. We always use a sound machine to sleep so if there was any road noise, we aren’t bothered at all. Can’t wait to go back again!

Aleah and Mark were friendly, kind, and made our hipcamp experience even better. Aleah gave us great recommendations for both Greenville and Travelers Rest. The site was secluded and clean. It had a fire place, and was a 2-3min walk from where our car was parked. The canopy of trees around our visit was beautiful, the creek was nice- we found tiny fish and frogs. We initially booked 1 night and decided to stay another.
