Bill greeted me at the gate and guided me to my site. It was raining weather but I still had a lovely time. I bought some wonderful things at his store. I loved Sassy (alpaca) she is so pretty and sweet! I will definitely be taking my grandkids to Herd It Here Farms

5 nights at Edisto Island Vacation Rental RV
We stay here every year...it never disappoints! Ron is a thoughtful and kind host...the property is well maintained, beautifully decorated,and is stocked with everything you need to have an excellent experience! Ron has added a new covered swing, which we loved and replaced several items to ensure proper working order (new grill and outdoor table/chairs). I chose this site the first year because it's pet friendly...we have returned each subsequent year because we absolutely love this place and feel so comfortable here with our Siberian Huskies!

I really enjoyed staying in the RV so close to the beach and many activities. Ron is very accommodating providing everything you could need for a wonderful camping experience. Including a state park pass to enjoy Edisto free of charge! Thanks again, Ron truly enjoyed your place. The decor is perfect Jurassic Park getaway! 😉

Weekend Trip to Edisto Island Vacation Rental RV
My partner and I really enjoyed staying at Ron's RV. It was a nice set up on his property. The RV was very nicely kept and clean. We would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay again.

Loved the tree house. AC and kitchen were adequate. The hosts were responsive. Loved being near the beach and Charleston, if it rains hang out in the kitchen or bedroom the dining area needs rain proofing after that everything was awesome.

Absolutely amazing place! My family and I took a trip around the U.S. East Coast, visiting places like New York, Washington, and Miami, and stayed at multiple Hipcamp spots throughout the journey—but this place and experience was one of the brightest highlights!
Melissa and Bill did a wonderful job greeting us, making us feel at home, and giving us a tour around the farm the next morning.
The animals were incredible too—every single one was a star. They were very friendly, and each had its own unique personality. It was a privilege to spend time with them.
If we ever come back to South Carolina, we will definitely make sure to visit Herd It Here again.

Weekend Trip to Edisto Island Vacation Rental RV
Ron was an excellent host, greeting us at the campsite when we arrived! He even had firewood chopped up and everything. Ron helped us find an easy bike rental so we could explore the island on bike. Botany Bay is a close car ride away and beautiful at sunrise, as is sunset at the pier on state park land. Everything we were looking for in a summer camping trip: seclusion, great fire pit, and a necessity for June/July in SC: air conditioning. Such a good time! Thanks Ron!

This was our 2nd stay with Ron. It's a great choice for us. We can bring our 2 labs...who love the beach...and it's just a 5 minute drive to the state park beach. Ron provides a parking pass that saves us $16 a day. The camper is clean and supplies all bedding and kitchen items plus bath towels and toiletries...just bring your toothbrush and settle in. We'll be back!

Ron was a great host. He made sure we had plenty of fire wood every day and provided a large spot to walk our two dogs. The location was super close to everything Edisto had to offer. Ron's lot was super private and surrounded by the state park. Edisto was a super cute town with a very clean beach & no crowds. The restaurants around were all great too. We had a great time!

Herd It Here is an awesome camping experience. Melissa went out of her way to greet us, get us settled, and then toured us around the farm. She answers all our questions about the animals and never made us feel rushed or like we were inconveniencing her, even though it was Easter weekend. Such a genuinely nice person and a wonderful host. I give the experience a 10 out of 10 for sure!

Liked how the kitchen, ned room and bathroom were all separated. This made using the restroom more comfortable. There was free wifi. There were real cool things for the kids to do. Rock wall, zip line, netting and tons of games. There was also laundry facilities. The couch pull out was really comfortable. It was pretty and the cats were cute. They also had a nice fireplace set up.

The tree house is fantastic! It’s cute and very functional, with a well equipped kitchen and spacious bedroom. The hosts are welcoming, everything was very clean and inviting, and on our last day I had to pull my kiddo off the zip line so we could make it to the Serpentarium. Highly recommend.

We loved staying at the Treehouse during on our roadtrip! This is so much better than a hotel for anyone traveling with kids--a perfect spot for families to gather, rest, and play! If you're roadtripping on I95, it's the perfect spot for getting rid of those too-long-in-a-car-seat wiggles! Kids will run straight to the climbing wall, the net tunnel, and the slides.
We found the treehouse itself to be perfect for our needs. The kitchen was great for movie night popcorn and early morning coffee, and it has everything you'd need for full meals! And sleeping space and bathroom exceeded our needs. We ended our visit with an early morning walk to visit the chickens and admire the amazing garden! This place really is a dream--- everything we'd want to build if we were adding a treehouse to our own place!

No fuss but all needs thoughtfully met. The host had everything clean and ready for our arrival. Appliances and equipment were functional. Our kids loved the play opportunities! If you have high energy school age through tweens, this is a great spot! I appreciated that every play area seemed to also have an "I'm a tired adult" spot to relax and watch them, join in the fun, or look out and check on kids while prepping food and cleaning up. Parents will appreciate this design! Note: there is a neat catwalk to the bathroom and shower (clean and well stocked bathroom!), so if you or your family has equilibrium challenges that might require a buddy to cross. Great experience!
