Nomad's Nest

1 site · RV, Tent30 acres · Patrick, SC
Hey ya'll! We are nestled in 1,000's of acres of State Forest, dirt roads, and real country life! When you pull up our secluded driveway, you will see a clearing to our beautiful 30 acre homestead, then you'll head back to the barn to your private camping spot. The native pines and rolling golden field grasses that sway in the (perfect) breeze will immediately take all your worries away, and you can let the de-stressing begin! Nomad's Nest is optimized for those who trailer and travel with their beloved horses, but anyone looking to park their RV/Camper under the open-air barn is welcome. We have 20/30/50 amp service and running water. Just tenting it? Feel free to set up and relax under the stars or under the open-air barn area. H. Cooper Black is a very popular recreation area boasting over 7,000 acres and is considered the most equine friendly park in the area. You can ride there from our land or it's just a short drive there (about 7 miles). We are also very close to Cheraw State Park that has famous Lake Jane and you can hit the beach, go kayaking or rent a paddle board, a golf course, and very pretty walking/hiking trails. If you are into mountain biking, hiking, picnics, and exploring - than head to the Sand Hills Forest (a 46,000 acre protected forest) or Carolina National Wildlife Refuge! Interesting fact: The sandy land in this area is left over from an ancient sea! Take a short hike up to Sugarloaf Mountain for incredible views of the vast forests covering the old sea bed.

Tall Grass and Pines

1 site · RV3 acres · Aynor, SC
This property is unimproved and unmaintained raw natural land. The entire property is surrounded by a farm drainage ditch on all sides, with random farm drainage ditches to insure the land is dry and a 60’ x 60’ old farm irrigation pond (see satellite photo to know where the ditches are located). There is plenty of seasoned raw wood (from when the property was cleared 4 years ago) laying randomly throughout the property to cut and collect for a camp fire. The land is located off a dirt access road that is well maintained by the county. The county dirt road can provide for hours of peaceful riding via mountain bikes. Campers are more then welcome to cut their own path on the land for their campsite. There is a fire pit by the large tree when first entering the property at Entrance 2 (please see photos for the locations of Entrance 1 and 2). Note: This raw land is unmaintained and was last cleared 4 years ago, photos are from April 2022. There is a video tour posted on youtube of the property, which can be navigated to via our twitter site link that is shared here as our website address.
