We’re located on the quiet back side of the Lancaster Reservoir, a beautiful public lake with designated fishing days on Thursdays and Saturdays.
The waters are home to bass, bream, crappie, and catfish. There’s a public boat ramp on the opposite shore, and the lake allows electric motors only — perfect for peaceful days on the water. Kayakers are always welcome!

Lake Wateree, a 13,250-acre lake with unspoiled natural views, was created by the damming of the Wateree River in 1920. It is located about 30 miles northeast of Columbia,
just east of I-77.
The lake is owned and managed by Duke Power and is surrounded by three counties: Fairfield, Kershaw, and Lancaster.

Rosewood Farm and Agripark is my home. I honestly had about the most amazing childhood one could have on this very land! We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! We have 200 acres of farmland that features rolling hills, multiple ponds, creeks, farm animals, show horses and countless wildlife viewing opportunities. Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Listen to the frogs croaking, crickets chirping and whipporwhills calling every evening under a magical blanket of stars. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark!
For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? My goal is to make this land as magical for your family as it has been for mine!

My Neighbor has started his own Campsite, "The Swimming Hole". If mine is booked up and you still want to camp, look him up. His is better suited for small groups but has much more privacy.
We have a new road to the campsite; you can now drive down with two-wheel drive vehicle or RV down and park near your tent!
There is plenty of soft sand to set up one tent or ten tents; large groups are welcome for an extra fee.
A Porta-Potty is available at the campsite.
Swimming is usually possible at the base of the falls; however, large amounts of rain can change conditions and make it unusable.
I should also add, this is not a completely private campsite deep in the woods. The camp is visible from a shared driveway, and my residence is up a hill that overlooks the area. Also, I do not own the land on the other side of the stream. Occasionally, the owners of that land will spend a weekend afternoon enjoying the waterfall view also.
Still much quieter and more private than a regular campground.
Glamping tents and additional camping tents are available through a local company. Look in the pictures for the tent with red, white, and blue balloons. Message me for details.
Close to US National Whitewater Center (mountain biking, whitewater rafting, kayaking), Kings Mountain National Military Park (Horseback riding and history), Crowders Mountain (Hiking), 3 miles off of I-85 and US-321 for people passing through.

The 3rd site (Branch View) is in the deep woods by a creek. All 3 have water barrels and benches. It is 10 minutes to South Carolina's oldest inland city, historic Camden and 6 minutes from Lake Wateree (about 240 miles of shoreline). Had a great experience with my family this past weekend. For some of the it was their first experience camping and the spot was great for that. The creek was fun enough for the kids and adults to walk through and explore. The host was incredibly helpful and had firewood ready available to purchase, it was some really good sized firewood.

Very quiet and relaxing location. Set back about 150’ from the lake and on an extremely quiet road. This was a very relaxing weekend. Ann was super nice and brought us a dozen of her delicious eggs from her chickens. We really enjoyed kayaking on the lake and star gazing!

Our class C had no trouble going down the drive to the site and finding a level spot. David was a great host, good communication and very friendly. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I spent 4 days here to reconnect and center ourselves.
Such a wonderful location. We Fished, swam in the river and was able to relax in a very secluded campsite BUT also close to grocery stores and a liquor store.
The campsite is so secluded IF you wanted to skinny dip, you can with no one around to judge your life’s choices 😀
We were able to kayak a little ways up the river to fish but there were so many downed trees we couldn’t go far.
I’ve been camping for over 10 years and this is definitely in my top 5 campsites
**The walk from parking to the campsite will humble you if you over pack! A wagon would be helpful. ( the walk is worth the privacy!!)

Stayed one night. just needed a safe place to sleep. Lots of privacy and multiple places to setup. I got in late around 10:30 but was setup and in my sleeping bag by 11:30 pm and slept straight through to 6 am.
Would book again. Janie stayed in contact with me as I was traveling and made sure I was set for the night before they turned in.

Lucky Farms Under the Stars was an incredible stay. The land was beautiful, clean, and spacious. There were walking trails through the woods that led to other sites, the communal campfire, a rope swing, and more. My dog loved running in the grassy field. It was so quiet and peaceful, and at night there were amazing views of the stars. The bathrooms were spotless. The muffins were delicious and made a perfect breakfast treat. An animal had gotten into the first batch of muffins before we got back late, and Taylor had another batch waiting for us the next morning. An overall wonderful experience. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Dennis and Melissa were great hosts. They made sure we were welcomed and went above and beyond to give extra information about the area and history of the farm property. It was SUPER QUIET- which we were really looking for. Star views through the longleaf pines with whip-poor-wills calling in the distance was idyllic. The bathroom and shower (did not get a chance to use) were bonus amenities to our usual primitive camping. A great getaway! Thank you for offering these sites on hipcamp!
