KSJoy’s property was as described and a nice spot to hang out for a couple of days before the busy holiday season kicks in. Full electric hookup. No water this time of year (was just shut off last week). Nice area. Drove around. Followed the host’s recommendations for local food. Great advice! Had our four dogs with us. The property is close to a fairly busy road so having good recall (or we brought a fencing system) is essential. The road noise Fri-Sun in mid Nov. was not an issue. The host was very communicative and answered all questions but was hands off which we liked. Highly recommend.

We overnighted here for my sons birthday fishing trip. 3x 13 year olds and dad. Jocelyn was an amazing host. Super friendly and approachable. The barn is a great place for cold nights and rain. It’s a great way to plan a camping trip without worrying about rain or weather. If you are into trout/small mouth fishing the Natchaug is right across the street and there are many many walks all around. Great location will definitely be back again!

Mary and Victor were very nice and when asked were flexible to let us stay in the converted trailer due to weather. The horses were amazing and friendly to bet! Jim and Amy’s spot might not be the traditional Hipcamp setting (it’s in their driveway) but it’s the perfect place to explore Newport if you’re in an RV. Just park and you’re a short walk to downtown and the water with easy access to drive the famous Ocean Drive. And as hosts, you won’t find any better. Experts on the area/history and always willing to assist with anything you need…and don’t miss out on the campfire experience in the backyard—it’s a great hang!

This campground is amazing! If you want a place that is serine and private, this is the place for you. Mary and Victor are super hospitable and accommodating. They keep the outhouses clean and the campsites are roomy and comfortable. It’s a beautiful property with gorgeous horses. Thanks to the hosts for a wonderful stay!!! I recommend this to anyone who likes true camping as there are no hookups, but gorgeous serenity and peace.

Justin and Amy are very friendly and responsive to any questions. They give very detailed instructions before arrival. The campsite is peaceful and comes with so many amenities, packing was so easy. Getting an add on of a cooler full of ice was so great, the ice lasted the whole time we were there!
