A Gem of a Campground - Highly Recommend! We just returned from a fantastic camping trip and had to share our experience at Round Stone. This place is a true gem! From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and easy. Casey's communications on expectations were on point. We stayed at Tent Site 4, which was perfect for our needs. It was spacious, well-maintained, and offered a good amount of shade. The ground was level, making setting up our tent a breeze. We also had a great fire pit and picnic table at our site. One thing that truly stood out was the cleanliness of the facilities. We've been to campgrounds where the portable toilets are less than desirable, but the porta-potties here were spotless! It's clear the staff takes great pride in keeping the grounds clean and comfortable for everyone. This alone makes a huge difference in the overall camping experience. Beyond our site and the clean restrooms, the campground itself was wonderful. The atmosphere was peaceful and exactly what we were looking for in a getaway. Overall, we were incredibly impressed with Roundstone and are already planning our next trip back. If you're looking for an excellent campground with great sites and exceptionally clean facilities, look no further! Highly recommend!

What an absolute camping trip! I booked a camping trip for Friday night-Sunday morning. Majority of the time we were there it was pouring rain!! However, that didn’t stop us from having fun at all. We put a tarp right under the camp fire, and thankfully our sent had a SHED! So we put most of our stuff like kitchen stuff, and things that we didn’t want to get wet. Which was an absolute life saver! Had such a great camping trip despite the rain. Casey the owner also made everything such a breeze. From booking the trip, asking questions and even a partial refund from last minute some of my friends canceling. 5 stars out of 5! My friends and I decided we are coming back to this area. Super chill, relaxed vibe which is what we needed!

The location and accommodations were great. Check in and out was seamless. An incredible spot to get away from it all and enjoy nature and some quiet.

This Hipcamp was exactly what my partner and I were looking for! We stayed at Tent #4 and loved discovering that with a short walk behind our set we had our own little babbling brook and stream. I'd definitely recommend this Hipcamp for anyone looking for a smooth camping trip getaway in some beautiful woods.

3 nights at Hippie Havens: A Groovy Retreat

Hippie Havens was an AMAZING find. Shaggy and Kendra are really friendly and welcoming. Their dog Taj got along very well with our dog and us. Just an all around cool vibe. The cabin was immaculately prepared and the attention to detail was great. The multicolored wifi controlled lights were a cool touch. We mentioned it was a birthday for one of us, and they had it prepared with an adorable birthday card, balloon, and some friendship bracelets. Honestly, the additional touches were over the top. The s'mores are a must get. The sauna was a big plus and definitely relaxing. All in all this place is amazing, and we will be back. We've already booked our second trip.

1 night at Bear Beaver Farms

We stayed here overnight with our family and were absolutely in awe of the place. It gives off a rustic, primitive, off-the-grid vibe that's truly unique. If you're a family with kids looking for a safe yet quiet and adventurous spot, this is it. John even came by at night to check on us, which made us feel even more welcome and cared for. You really have to stay here to understand the vibe—it's something you feel more than anything else. There was definitely a fun rush of adrenaline at night, but in the best way possible. Highly recommend!

Rustic tent sites and log cabins on nearly 400 acres nestled in the Appalachian Mountains. The property has been in our family since the late 1800's, initially operating as an ochre mill. We are near the historic town of Jim Thorpe, Whitewater Rafting Adventures, Hickory Run State Park, Lehigh Gorge State Park, Tuscarora State Park, and more. ***PLEASE READ BELOW AND READ EACH SITE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING*** - Our tent sites are rustic with NO electric or running water. Cabins have electric, but no indoor plumbing. Porta-Johns are available throughout the grounds. (Some sites are closer to port-a-johns than others.) We do not provide potable water or showers for tent campers but we allow responsible use of the stream for cleaning. Cabins have a rustic outdoor shower available May-October. Most sites are 100+ yards apart, but you may hear some noise carrying from neighboring sites. Please inquire for camper vans and pop ups. - FIREWOOD: Due to the threat of invasive pests, we do not allow firewood to be transported onto the grounds. We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. You can pick and crate your wood at the wood pile on the grounds at your convenience. Please bring cash if possible or get in touch at the end of your stay to pay via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. -We have a variety of wildlife in the area, including BLACK BEARS. Please follow 'Leave No Trace' protocols and be mindful of trash and food throughout your stay. Keep your coolers in your vehicles and take garbage to the dumpster frequently. We have a dumpster available to you on the grounds. -Check in is contactless. Upon booking, you will receive directions to your site. **If you would like to stay for one night during the week or one night on a weekend during November-April, please get in touch and I can adjust the booking specifications. Located 50 miles from midtown Manhattan (approx 1:08 minutes) is our brand new campsite located right off the Appalachian Trail. The camp is at the base of Wawayanda mountain right between the iconic hikes "Stairway to Heaven" and "Pochuck Boardwalk" on the Appalachian Trail. Hike right from camp up to "Pinwheel Vista" (named one of NJ's best viewpoints!) At the entrance to the property is the Valley Farmers Cooperative that sells local grass fed meats and artisanal farm goods. You can walk two minutes to Heaven Hill Farm which has plenty of goods, produce, and fun fall activities like pumpkin picking and haunted hayrides. Drive your car from route 94 directly to your campsite nestled in the woods with a great view of the valley. A perfect getaway from the city with plenty to offer. About 10 minutes down 94 is the beautiful town of Warwick or about 4 minutes in the opposite direction is the town of Vernon. Warwick is a quaint small town with plenty of great restaurants and bars, and famous for its apple picking. Vernon has plenty to offer as well including the popular ski resort/waterpark Mountain Creek and Minerals Spa (Located just under 10 minutes away.) The quiet charm of Wawayanda State Park appeals to hikers, campers, swimmers and boaters. Forested hills surround Lake Wawayanda creating a restful backdrop for canoeists and fisherman, while steep mountains challenge casual as well as serious hikers. A twenty-mile stretch of Appalachian Trail runs through the park, while the top of Wawayanda Mountain offers sensational views. More than sixty miles of trails are marked in the park.
