From 1939-2020 our family ran a summer sleep-away camp for children on the farm, with an emphasis on caring for each other and the land. Located in a small valley at 1400 feet of elevation, our fields and woods are home to a broad diversity of native plants and animals. Our family has been caring for this land since 1926, but before European colonization it was home to the Lenape people from whom it was forcibly taken. Acknowledging this fact and working to expand awareness of Indigenous cultures and their rights is important to us. While at the farm, besides the amenities listed in each listing, you are welcome to hike or walk around and explore our farm which has many acres of woodland, creeks, springs, a pond, and open fields. A hot day is a great time for a walk along - or in - the creek. A rainy day brings out the Red Efts - beautiful orange newts that are all over the woods when you know where to look. Guest access Guests will be able to use the whole home and lake access in the backyard. There is ample parking in front paved driveway. You will be receiving a door code the day before your travel, it is a unique code that will only activate at time of check in. * Host will require a liability waiver after booking. Our HOA requires a tenant registration form filled out and submitted a week prior to arrival ( for last minute bookings, you will need to submit this form back as soon as I send it with your confirmation). *For lake fishing: You need a fishing license to fish in any lake in PA. Security and Game commission does show up to check so make sure you are in compliance. Host will not be responsible for you ticket violation if caught. Our dock will only allow up to 1000 lbs of weight at once, about 4-6 persons and less if carrying a boat to launch. Guests will wear life vests on the dock, boats and swimming on the lake. Guests will not leave any personal belongings on the dock or leave out chairs to avoid any loss of property. Guests will not release the floating dock off the secured attachment on the shore anchor. NO ACCESS to lake Spillway: At any time, do not attempt to swim or hang out on or near the lake spillway ( located to the right of propery) This is very dangerous and is a violation of our HOA rules. We have a Well water system, bring your own preferred water bottle for drinking. We have a water filtration system for the house and a Brita if you would like to use it. We also have a queen sofa pull out bed in the living room and a futon in the largest room for when you need it. 1 night at Dude, Girl! Ranch.
We had a perfect fall Sunday followed by a rainy Monday that somehow made the cabin even better. Warm, quiet, and easy to settle into. Jennifer was kind and responsive, and everything felt thoughtful without trying too hard. We found and brought an old CD player, a crate of our old scratched mix CDs, and ended up listening by the fire, laughing at what used to be our favorite songs and what stuck. Turns out, that’s about as good as it gets. Highly recommend bringing a few of your own instant time machine.

We had a lovely trip to Journey’s End! We typically tent camp but found this cabin to be a perfect fit for our annual camping trip! It was close to hiking and white water rafting (within an hour), and had the perfect vibe for our evenings at the site. The land was gorgeous. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area- thank you for the lovely getaway!

Another lovely visit to Journey's End! We were early in the season so it was chilly, but we had an amazing time away from home with friends. We rented both cabins and both treehouses so the kids in the group had different places to explore and options for sleeping. Made for a very fun weekend; visiting the goats and chickens, cooking by the fire, even got a little fishing in on the small pond in the back of the property. And we wouldn't leave a weekend at JE without bringing home some of their maple syrup - it's really amazing. Highly recommend a visit!

Le petite cabine is the perfect combination of civilization and simplicity. We had a rainy weekend and so enjoyed the sound of the rain on the roof, the birds and the river and that’s all the sound there was! It was incredibly private. The outdoor shower was incredibly refreshing. It is a 5 minute drive from the town of Narrowsburg which has all kinds of restaurants and shopping. There is direct riverfront access. The site is good for all seasons and the host provided wonderful instructions and recommendations which helped us enjoy our trip so much. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

Everything that we sell is grown or produced on-site with the intention of nurturing the soil and ecology of the land. From 1939-2020 our family ran a summer sleep-away camp for children on the farm, with an emphasis on caring for each other and the land. Located in a small valley at 1400 feet of elevation, our fields and woods are home to a broad diversity of native plants and animals. Our family has been caring for this land since 1926, but before European colonization it was home to the Lenape people from whom it was forcibly taken. Acknowledging this fact and working to expand awareness of Indigenous cultures and their rights is important to us. While at the farm, besides the amenities listed in each listing, you are welcome to hike or walk around and explore our farm which has many acres of woodland, creeks, springs, a pond, and open fields. A hot day is a great time for a walk along - or in - the creek. A rainy day brings out the Red Efts - beautiful orange newts that are all over the woods when you know where to look. Guest access Guests will be able to use the whole home and lake access in the backyard. There is ample parking in front paved driveway. You will be receiving a door code the day before your travel, it is a unique code that will only activate at time of check in. * Host will require a liability waiver after booking. Our HOA requires a tenant registration form filled out and submitted a week prior to arrival ( for last minute bookings, you will need to submit this form back as soon as I send it with your confirmation). *For lake fishing: You need a fishing license to fish in any lake in PA. Security and Game commission does show up to check so make sure you are in compliance. Host will not be responsible for you ticket violation if caught. Our dock will only allow up to 1000 lbs of weight at once, about 4-6 persons and less if carrying a boat to launch. Guests will wear life vests on the dock, boats and swimming on the lake. Guests will not leave any personal belongings on the dock or leave out chairs to avoid any loss of property. Guests will not release the floating dock off the secured attachment on the shore anchor. NO ACCESS to lake Spillway: At any time, do not attempt to swim or hang out on or near the lake spillway ( located to the right of propery) This is very dangerous and is a violation of our HOA rules. You will incur a fine from security dept if caught. I really appreciate your cooperation for your safety. Other things to note Please read " HOUSE RULES" before booking. We have a Well water system, bring your own preferred water bottle for drinking. We have a water filtration system for the house and a Brita if you would like to use it. We also have a queen sofa pull out bed in the living room and a futon in the largest room for when you need it. Our home is fully equipped w/ stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven, blender, dishware/flatware, drip coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, spices, bar seating. Firewood is not included. Bring your own firewood for the fire pit.
