We have 3 camping locations which you can park near with your vehicle. They are all private camps and out of sight from others.
Our camps sites are for people that like camping in the mountains and near a working farm. Our farm and the community we built is focused on sustainable living with nature, local self reliance, and kindness.
Also, feel free to join us in the fields, request a tour, pet a goat, smell a pig, and check out our DIY home renovation, (built with hempcrete).
Pets should not be off leash unless well behaved and pets should not be left unattended.

Family Camp at Ten Mile River Scout Camps is a unique public campground located on beautiful Lake Nianque. Designed as the scout camp for families, we offer an expansive program for youth and adults seeking a summer camp experience. The facility features secluded cabin sites, many of which are right on the shore. Family Camp is well equipped to provide a refreshing and enjoyable outdoor adventure for the whole family.
Our Lakeside and Family Camp is unique in that the entire family—from toddlers to grandparents—can participate in outdoor activities or spend the day relaxing in the beautiful, secluded forest. Most families return year after year for the fun, camaraderie, and togetherness of Lakeside.
From the last week of June up to the last week of August, we have a Camp staff to run daily programs suitable for all ages and provide access to program areas with experiences like handicraft and guided waterfront activities and even nighttime campfire programs!
Looking for a more private event, family reunion, or a couple’s romantic woodland experience? Our Schiff cabins are ideally located in a small area away from the bustle and excitement of Summer Camp programming but with access to the same fun all summer!

Nestled in the mountainside in Morris County this 10 acre farm estate is home to a plethora of wildlife, small lake, and large brook that runs through the property. The lake is home to native wildlife and the brook is loaded with trout. There are a couple of professionally maintained landscaping areas perfect for camping and firepit. It comes with a firepit, and everything you need for an amazing night out in the wilderness. The Beaver Lodge is a single-site glamping retreat tucked in the woods just outside Honesdale, PA. The site features two ponds and roughly five acres of quiet forest to yourself.
Our site sits beside Spinner Pond. You'll arrive by a short wooded walk (about 3 minutes), or catch a ride in on the UTV — we're happy to shuttle guests and gear. At the waterfront, there's a fire circle, two Adirondack chairs, and a canoe with paddles. Fishing and wildlife watching from the pond edge are genuinely excellent: bald eagles, beavers, deer, ducks, and the occasional black bear on the far end of the property are regular visitors.
Inside the canvas bell tent you'll find a real queen-size bed made up with sheets and pillows, LED camp lighting, and a footlocker stocked with cooking essentials — cast iron skillet, pot, utensils, and dinnerware. The site includes a two-burner propane stove with fuel, picnic table, and a second waterside fire pit. Potable water, a composting toilet, and a gravity-fed outdoor shower are all on-site. Optional extras include a propane Buddy Heater, two additional cots, and firewood bundles.
The camp is tucked behind our home, so you'll feel completely private — no other structures in view. We're nearby if you need anything, and we mean that.
Dogs welcome off-leash on the property.

Enjoy BEAUTIFUL, lakeside camping at our mostly private and very spacious lake property with dock and boats. Our folks bought this family property in 1953, and it is still used and maintained by our family. We feel blessed to be able to share it with our own children and grandchildren today, and offer it to others to enjoy who may not have such a peaceful and serene spot to relax and unwind.
Stay on 10 beautiful acres of rustic, private land with many good camping spots to choose from in grassy areas with lots of trees.
Enjoy boating/fishing/swimming. We have a gazebo at the lake shore, and an anchored swimming float. Kayaks, canoe, rowboat, and peddle boat are available. Lots of wildlife around the lake to enjoy.
Campfire ring, water spigot (private drilled well) and electric available on the property. Neighbor cottage partially visible, but our property is pretty secluded and private. Picnic tables and chairs provided. Well behaved pets okay, leashes may be required. Mostly level terrain, ample parking area. Very peaceful here. My favorite place to relax, with a guitar and a glass of wine!
Choose your own campsite; spots are reasonably private and secluded. Mowed paths throughout camping section; both sunny and shady spots on both sides of stream. The lake and dock area and the boats, the gazebo w/seating, and lake side picnic table, are all communal.
Parking is in a large gravel area behind cottage. Campsites are located across a small stream, easily accessible (less than a 3 min walk) from the parking area. Path immediately next to parking leads to a nice camping area alongside stream, farther from lake front. Truck and car-top tents in the parking area may be allowed upon request. We ask that cars stay in the parking area, but there is a wheelbarrow for use in transporting your gear to the spot you choose.
There is no bathroom. (The cottage is private.) You must pack it out, or bring your own portable toilet with disposable liner bags. Trash and recycling cans are provided. No shower, but the lake is great for swimming, very clean.

Sleep like a log in our one-room charming cabin on a small private lake lot with non-motor boats only.
Little Elk Lake is 43 acres.
Queen bed with linens provided, plus 2 adult cots with pads and sleeping bags.
Rowboat plus 1 youth kayak, two adult kayaks and a canoe are available for your use, and we have life jackets in many sizes.
We are sorry but the pontoon boat cannot be used by guests. The fishing is EXCELLENT and bring your binoculars - BALD EAGLES frequent the lake!
We want you to have so much FUN during your visit, but we are not a party spot.
The lake is rural and quiet, and so we must request low noise levels after 10 pm in order to keep our neighborhood HAPPY!

What an absolute gem! I had the most lovely, secluded getaway at The Dam House. The host truly thought of everything—having all the right cookware on hand made prepping dinner a breeze. I had an excellent stay at Jaclyn's Hipcamp and would absolutely return. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. One of the biggest surprises was the quality of the amenities. There were clean toilets, hot showers, and even a dumpster available for bagged trash disposal, which made camping much more convenient without taking away from the outdoor experience.
The pond was a highlight of the property and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The grounds were spacious, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Everything felt thoughtfully designed and cared for, from the gravel paths and lighting to the overall layout of the campsite.
Jaclyn was a wonderful host and has clearly put a lot of effort into creating a welcoming place for campers. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with the perfect balance of nature and comfort, I highly recommend staying here. This is one of the nicest Hipcamp properties I've visited.

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s quiet, private and lots to do. Fishing, relaxing, big yard to play in and the hiking is great. The showers were nice and we would definitely come back. There is lots to explore on the trails if you have time.

We had a great friends trip stay here! Our hosts were so lovely, even came to give us a shout and warn of thunderstorms set to roll through so we could prepare our camp. We loved getting to interact with the farm animals! We highly recommend the eggs, our best camp breakfast of the trip!

This spot was so fantastic. Totally as advertised which, honestly, was surprising. I’ve stayed at HipCamp sites hosted by farmers in the past and they’re a bit too close to the farm experience and the noise and smells that come with it. This is entirely separate.
Great amenities as well! The bathroom was super clean, the hosts provides 5 gallons of drinking water, the hammock is great, the for ring with swing on grill was perfect for cooking surrounded by four chairs, there’s a canoe, kayak and paddle board, and the water is clear and clean. Perfect for family camping or a low key hang.
I’ve camped at a ton of spots through hipcamp and this was the best.

This is a wonderful place to spend a quiet weekend! Great fishing, nice campsite not far off the main road but very secluded. Gorgeous pond with lots of bass and pickerel, plus a few beavers cruising around to keep you entertained. We had a doe with a new fawn spend the weekend just behind our tent. Sherri was a super host and even checked in via text to assure we had made it and were happy/comfy. It was a fantastic weekend and we will most certainly be coming back!

Paul and Marilyn are so kind and accommodating—we had an unexpected personal issue pop up, and their flexibility was greatly appreciated. They went above and beyond as hosts.
The farm is full of fun and life—pigs, sheep, chickens, geese, a 29-year old donkey named Windy... The perfect place for people who want to be around animals!
We brought extra veggies (carrots, celery, broccoli, etc) so feed the animals, which they loved. Visiting in the spring + early summer also means lots of little goats and lambs, which is a bonus. We will definitely be back!
