New in July, 2026! A peaceful riverfront nature retreat on the pristine Upper Delaware River. Easy, private river access to swim, wade, fish, and hand launch your kayak or small boat.
Guests enjoy eagle sightings, birdwatching, and a thriving wild trout population that draws anglers from all over the world. Campsites are nestled in a shaded grove of mature hardwood trees. The riverfront is a one minute walk down a trail to a gently sloping riverbank. The water is typically 1-3 ft deep near shore.
Amenities: Each site has a large mulched area, picnic table and fire ring with cooking grate. There is a clean port-a-potty bathroom by the parking area, serviced every Friday. Firewood is available to purchase by the bundle in advance (see Extras) or on-site. Bring your own drinking water jugs. Garbage is pack in, pack out.
Group sizes: 4 people per site. We consider exceptions for up to 6 if you have good HipCamp reviews or for additional kids in the same family. Send us a note. A full site buyout for up to 20 guests is also available.
Well Behaved Dogs: At Site 5 Grouse Cove only. This is to keep the vibe tranquil and clean. Max 2 dogs.
River safety: Typically calm and shallow near shore. Depth increases and current becomes stronger as you walk out toward mid-river. This is a river not a pool or lake. The river is not always safe for swimming after heavy rains and upstream water releases. Life jackets are strongly encouraged even for strong swimmers and are required by the National Park Service for kids. Swim at your own risk. No lifeguard.
Boats: Canoes, kayaks, rafts, tubes, or inflatables - hand carry and launch right from camp. The walk to the waterfront is less than 2 minutes from parking down a stone trail. Trailered boats - launch at the nearby paved PA Fish and Boat Ramps (we are between Shehawken and Buckingham). Overnight parking for trailered boats is OK in our parking lot.
About Your Hosts: We are two nature-loving families with a 10+ year connection to the area. Our vision is a friendly, peaceful, low-density campground where friendships are made for a lifetime. Nestled in the foothills of the New York Catskills 150 miles Northwest of New York City is a place called Paradise Falls. It was named many years ago and as soon as you arrive you will see why the name was chosen. It has been in our family for almost 100 years. You can still see remnants of the gristmill that use to operate there. Many great memories have been made at the Falls and we now want to share our slice of paradise with you.
The rolling creek, a feeder searching for it's mama - the Delaware River - runs down the mountainside and over the rocks to give power and life to the falls. The steady flow makes you think you are far from civilization. But not really - only a short hike and you travel from the falls to a dirt road to a paved highway in a matter of a few minutes.
Over thousands of years and a few hundred year floods nature has made this wonderful cave-like formation under and behind the waterfall. The flat rock is a great place to picnic and enjoy the tranquility of the water. The trees surrounding the area make a fitting canopy for this unique campsite.
The mountain behind is great for climbing and a short walk down the creek will get you to the base of Jensons Ledges. The ledges are a steep hike up a mountain to a spectacular vista. Definitely worth the time and effort it takes to get there.

I loved that my first experience camping was here! It was very clean and the campsites were well spaced out. The river was fun to walk to and a portable toilet near the site was great to have. It was clean and well taken care of.

Firefly Farm was a great spot to stay on journey to the Northeast. We fished the Delaware River with a guide from Sweetwater Guide Service and had an amazing time catching almost 50 fish of multiple species. Adam, the host of Firefly Farm made the recommendation and it did not disappoint.
Firefly Farm has 5 newly created parking spots to choose from. It had been raining for a couple days when we arrived and our spot was quite muddy, so we decided to park our van in the overflow parking area which was covered in fresh gravel. The spot ended up being perfect and was close to the provided porta john.
Would definitely consider staying at Firefly Farm on our next trip.

2 nights at Sunset Shore Cabin on Private Lake
Sunset Shore Cabin had everything we needed for a great weekend trip. Everything was neat and clean. There were multiple towels and washcloths for use to use, and all the silverware/pots/utensils and supplies we would ever need. The lake is peaceful and quiet, and the inflatable boats and dock are in great shape. We even lit the tiki torches going down the path at night. We purchased wifi as well and it worked great, I would certainly love to stay here again!

The river was beautiful and not too far, the porta potty was kept extremely clean and the space was overall cozy. There were mosquitos and other bugs but they were barely noticeable. You don't need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get into your campsite, the ground was relatively flat and cleared out. The fire ring comes with a grate for campfire cooking and the firewood we purchased was dry, neat, and burned well! We will be bringing friends and family in the future!

Weekend Trip to Stockport Riverfront on the Upper Delaware
My son and I spent a couple nights on the property at site #4, the Fox Den. As we were in the site furthest from the entrance to the property from the road, we really felt pretty isolated. Loved having access to the river right down the path. Was great for a couple of cool-off sessions! We used our site as a base camp for a few days of kayak fishing on the river, and the property is conveniently close to many access points. A big shout out to Adam for excellent communication and putting together a very useful list of attractions and amenities in the area. Looking to head back in the Fall👍

Group trip
This spot was PERFECT for our annual Wood Elves Camp Trip. You can pull right up to the spot with your vehicle which is located near a beautiful sparkling double waterfall, a nicely kempt and covered area for cooking, eating, and lounging; and the sleeping tent keeps everything as dry as it can with lots of room for indoor activity in case it rains (it did). In fact it poured enough that the water in the river rose a great deal, but fortunately where the tent and dining area is located, everything was kept safe from the roaring river. It was truly miraculous to witness! You don't get any service at the spot and it is very private, but you're still only 15 minutes drive from grocery and civilization. Randall is responsive and was kind enough to meet us to show us the exact location. This place really has everything for glamper types. We will be back again and again!

Perfect place to unwind and disconnect. The campsite is nicely secluded, with access to a few trails that let you explore the property. Directions were clear and Daniel was very welcoming, coming out to greet us at the ice cream shop when we first arrived. Would love to come back!

Perfect weekend getaway with own private mossy waterfalls and wood-fired bathtub in the forest. Couldn’t ask for more. Adam was a perfect host, always there to help with any questions (fire wood, local attractions, forest berries etc). Will def come back for more when the waterfalls have more flow. Dope!
