Enjoy 8 beautiful, secluded acres on the Conewago Creek at Bald Hill, Northern York Co. My homestead was once part of the Conewago Turf Farm. It borders the creek a length of 1100 feet, mostly maintained with easy access. Camp is at the base of a steep section of the Conewago Mountains, creating privacy and protection from wind and afternoon sun. This is not a whole house rental. I have a one bedroom, queen size bed, kitchenette, private restroom and outdoor shower with on demand hot water. There's plenty of room for tent or van camping. Please see pictures for detail. I live in the house above the glamping quarters. Plenty of good fishing and paddling here. I offer shuttle service for 1 or 2 day float trips, paddle in one day, paddle out the next day. Canoes, kayaks, paddles and PFD's are included in the price of your stay. The Conewago is very beginner paddling but remote, very clean and full of wildlife. Gifford Pinchot State Park is 7 miles away. I have two paddle boards if you want to paddle the 3 mile lake. This adventure would require a short hike out to a parking area. Relax in a wood fired Norwegian sauna and cook in a Peruvian wood fired earth oven or cook under the stars over an open fire. Firewood is also included. Foodies will rejoice here. I live and work here, part time blacksmith and wood worker. I'll assist you in any way or do my best to stay out of your way. Wildlife love it here, I think you will too.

2 nights at Fairview Farms Airfield

Our time in the treehouse was magical. It was my 13 year old son and I. He is 6’1” and he was able to comfortably sleep in the loft. Bill and everyone at Fairview Farms was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The stargazing was phenomenal; I highly recommend a dip in the hot tub under the stars. I would recommend bringing a heated blanket in the colder months. I brought ours and it was the perfect mix of cold and snuggly warm. There is a heater that works like a charm, with the blanket we only used it during the day.

I love spending time at Craig's property. This was my second visit and somehow it was better than the first trip which was amazing. We weren't able to paddle bc the creek was down, and it wasn't impactful to our fun at all. Just book it! And if you can check out the nearby dirt race track BAPS, fun for kids and adults alike.

We had a lovely fall weekend glamping on Gini’s land. The site is beautiful and well maintained and the tent is very comfortable and filled with everything you could want even for cold weather camping. Gini’s hospitality was also exceptional (going out of their way to provide extra blankets and hot water bottles to one of our party who camped in a tent), and the land is perfect to walk through. Our dogs enjoyed the freedom safely. Will definitely be back!

Bill and Erin were so helpful and friendly; you can tell they love creating a great experience for their guests. Give Yeti another hug for me when you see that giant white dog guarding the goat; he is the true g.o.a.t. Lol. The tree house is amazing. It's exactly the type of club house my husband and I wanted as kids. The loft and ladder are super sturdy; I'm over 300 pounds with a bum knee and still shimmied up into the loft to sleep on the comfy queen mattress. We stayed in last September when it was like in the 70s during the day but 50s at night, and we never felt cold in the loft. Pro-tip: the light and ceiling fan in the first floor has a remote, so don't use the light switch. Outside, under the house, is a little outdoor kitchen area with a propane griddle. That thing was so convenient. We had fresh eggs from the chickens on the property and pancakes in the morning with minimal fuss. It was such a relief after a day exploring the outdoors to just ignite that griddle for hamburgers and hot dogs instead of using my camp stove or the grate over the campfire. The fire pit did have a grate if you prefer to grill over an open flame, so options! My favorite part was nighttime. Everyone was super respectful of noise policy, so with the exterior lights off, it was us, the insects, the night birds, at least one coyote, and the stars. Pure magic.

3 nights at Conewago Glamp and Paddle

This was my second time at Craig’s space and it did not disappoint! Great eating, beautiful scenes and amenities galore. Me and four other friends set up a tent down by creek and woke up to some of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve seen in a while. If you’re into birding, we heard and saw all kinds of amazing feathered friends. Our dogs explored every inch of the property and we got a chance to kayak pretty far down the Conewago creek. Craig was a master host, incredibly responsive but gave us plenty of room to feel like the space was our own. I can’t recommend this spot enough!

Weekend Trip to Conowingo Creek Campsite

My wife and two older dogs loved glamping at Conowingo creek! When they say they take care of everything, they mean it. We definitely overpacked thinking, “surely they won’t have x item, we should bring it from home” but they do have everything except your food, clothes, and toiletries outside of the normal soaps. Being able to let the dogs off leash on the 23 acres and take a dip in the creek made our weekend. It was nice to just connect with each other in nature with ease. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay at the farm was a perfect peaceful getaway. The cozy treehouse was charming and comfortable, nestled in a great location near a state park within walking distance. Watching the beautiful sunset from the ridge was a highlight—absolutely breathtaking. The hosts were accommodating, with a sunset hayride, firewood and tomatoes from the garden, making the experience even more enjoyable.

What wonderful place to spend some time in nature. We loved our stay in the treehouse. There is a fire pit just outside and we made dinner over the fire while enjoying all of the gorgeous views of the farm. The bed in the loft was cozy and there was plenty of space in the tree house for us and our medium size pup. A friend camped in a tent below with his doggo too. Thanks to Bill for taking us on a ride to see everything! The goats, chickens, ducks, and vintage plane gave us plenty to do and look at. Can’t wait to come back again this fall!

2 nights at Conowingo Creek Campsite

We stayed two nights, and the experience far surpassed our expectations. I've been camping all my life, and this is one of our favorite, most memorable camping experience ever. The feeling of peace and serenity was amazing. We both unplugged from regular life and relaxed so much that it was hard to remember my password when I returned to work at the end of our trip! Some highlights: -Friendly, helpful, communicative (but inobtrusive) hosts -The gift of whoopie pies was a nice nod to the local Pennsylvania Dutch culture -Lots of tools and amenities, such as cooking pots and multiple flashlights and candles -The wide, well maintained paths and walking trails were appreciated -The woodchip base at the campsite kept everything neat and dry -The amount of privacy was unmatched -Being able to let our dog off leash was a plus. It made us so happy to see our dog bounding around with a happy grin on her face - The creek was next level and our dog enjoyed splashing around and chasing sticks -The hammock by the creek is a beautiful little peaceful spot -The fairy lights that came on at dusk were both beautiful and practical, as were the tiki torches & torches made out of repurposed wine bottles -We had mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary, and they left us a jar of Hershey kisses, a card, and flowers -A regular fire ring is available as well as one with a cooking grate that can be raised, lowered, or moved to the side -A supply of firewood right at the campsite 10/10 stay

Bill and Erin’s were very helpful. Directions were very clear. It has a very nice view. It’s a huge land. my little girl loved feeding the goats and seeing the chickens and the cows. a lot of activities to be done around in the state park , lake , kayak and hiking .
