Amazing. From the view of the fall leaves and the Allegheny, to how nice the cabin was, to having a chimnied fire pit. Everything was perfect,. We usually do primitive sites, but I figured we could go glamping for once, and it was beyond anything I could expect. Fantastic property! We rented the tree cabin but the tent sites also looked great. All the amenities you could ask for while still being rustic and private. We visited for our annual fall leaf peeping trip, but we fully intend to come back in the summer--we are excited to take advantage of the cute little pond for swimming and kayaking. Would highly recommend!!

I booked the tree cabin to surprise my boyfriend with a one-night-getaway for his birthday, and we absolutely loved our time here. Liam did an incredible job with communicating important info via Hipcamp messaging, and he created a beautiful, serene atmosphere at Muddy Myst that made our stay wonderful. Everything was clean, private, and beautiful. We really appreciated the bathroom & common area amenities. We had an amazing stay and absolutely will come back and recommend to a friend. Our dog loved the adventure, too!

I have been staying at various HipCamp spots while driving across the country and this one is unique (in a good way)! The property is beautiful and the cabin is right next to the road so very easy to find/access. I enjoyed having both the fireplace and the composting toilet :). I would stay here again.

Muddy Myst is the perfect relaxing getaway! The treehouse was cozy and inviting. Even with all the rain at night, we slept peacefully with the windows open. The magnetic screen door was a nice addition to keep the critters out. There are clearly marked trails around the campsites and “Hank’s Hangout” is well stocked with complimentary coffee, tea, filtered hot/cold water and a nicely kept bathroom with a shower next door. Our dog loved the beds outside and inside the treehouse. Thanks again for the wonderful hospitality, we cannot wait to make a trip back!

Weekend Trip to Mountain View Camping

Just got home and looking forward to the next time we can go! Quiet with only nature sounds and an occasional car. The rv was bigger than I thought. Plenty of room and well laid out. Close to lots of things to do in the area where we enjoyed Amish country, fishing at Mahoney Dam and hiking multiple places plus a good book sitting outside at "home". Evening campfires with Richard's perfectly dry firewood and glorious stars made our time the perfect getaway. Richard is a five star plus host. He checks in to make sure everything is OK and was quick to respond to messages.

We absolutely loved it! My husband’s from UT. Camping is his thing, not mine…but this was awesome. Well stocked camp site. Everything you need is there….and clean with a white duvet (my personal fav). Clean bathrooms, showers, a beach, bike trail, walking trails, waterfalls nearby…truly a nice weekend adventure. We had a fantastic weekend away at Muddy Myst! We were staying at the cabin site, and it was a wonderful experience! After reading some other notes left in their guest book, I saw a pattern of attentiveness and hospitality from the hosts reflected in our stay as well. They had thought of things we didn't even know would be helpful. We went hiking and exploring during the day and were able to relax in our home away from home the rest of the time. I hope to visit the same site again in the future!
