There is also an artisan pizza spot with indoor/outdoor seating, hipster vibes and fun cocktails and live music @ thedaleNY For shopping you can also stop by @ forageandgather - they have foods, meats, gourmet deli and coffee and carry all the little things you may have forgotten to bring along in addition to a locally and craft focused wine and spirits shop. Also stop by @badgrandmashop for the most vibrant and stylish clothes for all sizes and styles. Not to be missed. There is also a lovely yoga studio and bollywood dance spot in addition to some other delightful gems in town. There is superb hiking nearby at Neversink Unique Area in Rock Hill. Your'e also about 30 minutes away from super cute fun larger towns and attractions like New Paltz, Livingston Manor, and tons of incredible Catskill hiking and nature opportunities. NOTE! It all started when grandfather Charles B Wright first establish this farm in 1904. He purchased it for its natural springs. In our barn (now home to Gardiner Brewing Company) he had gravity fed water troughs for his cattle. Since then we have slowly switched from animals to tree fruit. You will enjoy rolling hills of fruit trees and fruit gardens along with beautiful views of the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge. We have 450+ acres so it in very private. As we are a working farm, you can see us driving pass with our tractors or maintaining the orchard around your campsite on occasion. You are welcome to ride your bikes, hike or jog where you will pass ponds and a working farm landscape. Please don’t pick our fruit. If you would like to enjoy the fruits of our labor please visit our farm store open year round on the premises where we sell cheeses, our fresh picked fruit and veggies, local meats, and our famous cider donuts along with other farm products. We also have a farm brewery open 3-7 in our old dairy barn for you to enjoy. Live music Saturdays and Sundays. Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Reserve are only 10 minutes away. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping. Please be aware that during the months of September and October there may be a Pick-Your-Own customer or two walking around picking apples around the campsite area between the hours of 10:00-6:00. Sarah and Stein * Camp Blackbird is a 28 acre property that runs along Beltzville State Park in Carbon County, PA. So besides the camp, there is an additional 3,002-acres of state park to explore. There are a total of 2 sites. The land was vacant for decades and unfortunately used to dump household garbage during that time. We cleaned up the land, built a home and bat habitat. We, Sarah and Stein, always disliked renting a camp site somewhere and then ending up on top of people. So it was our goal to make space on our land for campers like us that want to be surrounded by nature, not other camp sites. A portion of the proceeds from your stay will be donated to bat habitat conservation and bat sanctuaries around the world. We are grateful for the hundreds of campers that have stayed with us. Thank you to all of you that have left a clean site and not made unnecessary noise that would disturb the countless species that share the forest with us. Also, Thank You for patronizing local businesses while you are here. We'll give you a map so you can see where to take a short walk to get to the lake. There are miles of hiking trails a few minutes walk from your campsite. Beltzville Lake is a great place for paddling. The boat launch is just a few minutes drive from Camp. In addition to the beautiful immediate surroundings, we are centrally located near many exciting destinations. Year round activities at Blue Mountain Resort, adventure on The Appalachian Trail, fine dining, biking the rail trail and whitewater rafting in Jim Thorpe, all within a 25 minute drive. The property is not suitable for parties or events. The area is a QUIET ZONE. Ideal for people looking to unplug from it all and become one with nature. It is teaming with wildlife and is ideal for birding. The hosts mission is to disturb wildlife and its habitats as little as possible. We had a group not understand this so I want to make sure it is clear. Firewood is for sale here for CASH! Please bring CASH with you. Sixty acres of magical trees, a one acre pond, and a three acre field. From the road there is a two hundred foot elevation gain to the top of the hill. Along the way are several hundred feet of rock ledges, caves, and critters. Most of the land is sloping, but the hilltop is flat as a table, with prehistoric-looking ferns under a dense canopy of mature trees. The campsites are ultra secluded- about a quarter mile apart from each other. All sites include a fire pit, cooking grate, picnic table, and sites 2&3 have platforms. Camp ONE: is on the top of the hill, and a small car can be driven to within 150 feet of it. It is pretty flat, and surrounded by blackberry bushes, ferns, and trees. Camp TWO: is on a bluff overlooking a picturesque swamp, filled with hemlock trees and ferns. This site can not be driven to with anything less than a high clearance SUV (ie- jeep wrangler), so I consider it a hike in site. It is under a ten minute walk from the pond and parking lot, but the view and feel is worth it. (It has been brought to our attention that there is occasionally a group riding atvs on a neighboring property that are audible from this site. We have no control over what time it happens, so please keep this in mind) Camp THREE: is accessible with a four wheel drive vehicle, something at least as high as an SUV. It is the closest to the house and pond, but still far enough to feel secluded and completely private. If you choose to walk there, it’s only a couple minutes from the parking area. Throughout the property, there are many quiet places to hang out, flat spots to do yoga, trails to explore, and fishing and swimming in the beautiful pond. A marked trail to the site with trail markers for easy direction. This tiny house has solar powered WIFI and lights. This is not an insulated structure and during the winter months there is no running water. The outhouse is located about 50 feet from the tiny house. The Tiny House is located in a very private and remote location that sits next to thousands of acres of state land with beautiful hiking trails and access to the Neversink River. Guest access Private and easy parking with short hike down hill to the site if you are unable to drive directly to the site (NOTE: During the winter months all guests must park in the designated parking spot and hike to the site. Driving to the site can only be done during the spring and summer months and requires a high clearance Truck, Jeep or SUV with all wheel drive or 4-Wheel Drive ONLY. Keypad on the front door for easy entry. Other details to note Unless you have an all wheel drive or four wheel drive vehicle, Please DO NOT drive or attempt to drive to the tiny house site. IF you decide to drive an all wheel drive or four wheel drive vehicle, it is at your own risk and the owners are not responsible for any damages. (NOTE: During the winter months all guests must park in the designated parking spot and hike to the site. You cannot drive as a result of the unpredictable weather) Please keep in mind the WIFI and lights are solar powered, therefore we cannot always guarantee its consistency. We, Sarah and Stein, always disliked renting a camp site somewhere and then ending up on top of people. So it was our goal to make space on our land for campers like us that want to be surrounded by nature, not other camp sites. A portion of the proceeds from your stay will be donated to bat habitat conservation and bat sanctuaries around the world. We are grateful for the hundreds of campers that have stayed with us. We had a group not understand this so I want to make sure it is clear. Firewood is for sale here for CASH! Please bring CASH with you. Sixty acres of magical trees, a one acre pond, and a three acre field. From the road there is a two hundred foot elevation gain to the top of the hill. Along the way are several hundred feet of rock ledges, caves, and critters. Most of the land is sloping, but the hilltop is flat as a table, with prehistoric-looking ferns under a dense canopy of mature trees. The campsites are ultra secluded- about a quarter mile apart from each other. All sites include a fire pit, cooking grate, picnic table, and sites 2&3 have platforms. Camp ONE: is on the top of the hill, and a small car can be driven to within 150 feet of it. It is pretty flat, and surrounded by blackberry bushes, ferns, and trees. Camp TWO: is on a bluff overlooking a picturesque swamp, filled with hemlock trees and ferns. This site can not be driven to with anything less than a high clearance SUV (ie- jeep wrangler), so I consider it a hike in site. It is under a ten minute walk from the pond and parking lot, but the view and feel is worth it. (It has been brought to our attention that there is occasionally a group riding atvs on a neighboring property that are audible from this site. We have no control over what time it happens, so please keep this in mind) Camp THREE: is accessible with a four wheel drive vehicle, something at least as high as an SUV. It is the closest to the house and pond, but still far enough to feel secluded and completely private. If you choose to walk there, it’s only a couple minutes from the parking area. Throughout the property, there are many quiet places to hang out, flat spots to do yoga, trails to explore, and fishing and swimming in the beautiful pond. This was perfect! We stayed for a night on a cool fall night. Lots of space, and included a picnic table and fire ring. The brewery was great (we were there on a Saturday) the portapotty is a bit of a walk from this particular site, but it wasn’t too bad! The farmers market was walkable, but also a short drive. Be sure to check out the farmers market while you are there! Would definitely stay again.

The awesome book selection, incredibly comfortable bed, the amazing shower, the vast land of trails behind it all paired with quirky/cozy decor are only a few of the warm takeways from this experience. Kat swiftly responded to us and answered all our questions promptly. We enjoyed it here so much we decided to extend our trip in the middle of it. It's obvious the care, attention and love that was put into this place. It truly felt like our home away from home. Would absolutely return here.

We love Tiny House as it’s nestled in the woods and feels very private. The hosts are kind, give clear instructions, and they’re super responsive to any questions that may come up. We love to tent camp and this tiny house is a great option for the colder months. We were not able to use the woodstove during our stay, but there is also a diesel heater which warms the place quickly, and for a quieter option, a small portable propane heater (purchase cans of propane at the conveniently located trading post which also has literally anything else you may forget at home). As others have mentioned, the path down to Tiny House is steep… like for REAL. An ACTUAL 4-wheel drive can make it, but ONLY if the ground is dry. That said, be prepared to hike in/out your gear if need be. And if that’s not your cup of tea, we did discover that the hosts have a couple reasonably priced Airbnbs in the area - check out Cabin in Rock Hill “Trails Head Cabin” (on the same street as Tiny House) or nearby Home in Rock Hill “Beaver Lake Escape”. Our reason for visiting was to tackle the challenging hikes of the Neversink waterfalls. Trails Head Tiny House provided amazing access, as well as, respite from our hectic city life. We look forward to a future visit!

Great location! Just a 10 minute drive from Mohonk Mountain trails which we hiked before setting up camp. We arrived around dinner time and were able to snag a bite and drink at the brewery and listen to awesome live music! The staff were very lovely in both the brewery and attached market. Stayed at the Stonehenge site which was easy to find and equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. Porta potty with sanitizing station was located a short walk away which was convenient even in the dark. There was another group camping in our area but they’re so well spaced that it felt private. If you’re a stargazer, this site is stunningly unobstructed. Would stay again!

Really beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The fall foliage was stunning. It was so fun watching sky divers in the distance right in front of our campsite, ridge view 1. This site felt private and was easily accessible. Also some pretty good stargazing when clouds broke.

Host was very receptive, he space was very woodsy, and a perfect getaway for a group of friends and family. Had wood for sale if needed, fresh eggs, and an ax and shovel which was a great touch. Highly recommend this site.

Weekend Trip to Pocono Cabin With No Name
We loved our stay at Kat’s land in her cozy and quaint cottage. It has the perfect layout for sleeping, relaxing by the fireplace, making food (and roasting smores!) We couldn’t have picked a more perfect time to visit - the fall colors were on full display. I selected to have fresh eggs and two bundles of firewood which was very convenient. The beds were comfy, there were plenty of fresh towels and blankets for all. We loved how stocked the bookcase was with books and games for all ages! The best part of the cabin was getting to hike down to the small creek and trails. It was just perfect and the whole house is quite convenient to town. We enjoyed our stay!

Nestled in the mountainside in Morris County this 10 acre farm estate is home to a plethora of wildlife, small lake, and large brook that runs through the property. The lake is home to native wildlife and the brook is loaded with trout. There are a couple of professionally maintained landscaping areas perfect for camping and firepit. It comes with a firepit, and everything you need for an amazing night out in the wilderness.
