A 20-minute drive & you're at the Columbia River. An hour to the West is Portland if you are in the mood for some city life, & 35 minutes east is Hood River, a gorgeous old town with tons of charm. The closest town, Stevenson, Washington is home to shops, local restaurants, & access to the Columbia River. Also in close proximity are amazing waterfalls, trails, & National Forest roads that are close by & well maintained. No matter the season there is something to do a short distance from the property. Keep in mind that the property is very rugged except for the trails we have provided to access other parts of the property. In the heart of the Columbia River Gorge just outside Carson, Washington, it is home to a mini-farm with goats, ducks, & chickens. Deer & elk walk through the property on a fairly regular basis depending on the season, it's less than a mile walk (or short drive) to the Wind River & a swimming hole, & a short distance further is the Pacific Crest Trail. A 20-minute drive & you're at the Columbia River. An hour to the West is Portland if you are in the mood for some city life, & 35 minutes east is Hood River, a gorgeous old town with tons of charm. The closest town, Stevenson, Washington is home to shops, local restaurants, & access to the Columbia River. Also in close proximity are amazing waterfalls, trails, & National Forest roads that are close by & well maintained. No matter the season there is something to do a short distance from the property. The little A-frame structure was perfect for my needs and stood up well to some pretty blustery weather on my first day. It takes a minute to locate the structure if you arrive in the dark and rain, as I did, but once I was oriented, all was well. Definitely recommend this instead of a tent if you're coming at a time of year when the weather is a bit unpredictable.

We absolutely loved this spot - one of our favorite stays ever! It was exceptionally quiet, clean and cozy. We felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and serenity of the property - sitting on the porch watching the sunset, listening to the crickets, and watching the friendly deer eat blackberries. The trails behind the cabin were lovely for a daytime stroll and lounging in a sunny clearing. Brian was such a friendly and welcoming host and made us feel comfortable and taken care of. We arrived a little late and Paul reassured us that was okay last minute we let them know we’d like the fire pit and they had the propane ready to go for us when we arrived . The drive up wasn’t bad and it was easy to find with gps .The cabin we stayed in was very cozy, cute and perfect sized for us two , they also have wagons to get our things from the car to the cabin with ease cabin faced a secluded area and we really appreciated it . A 20-minute drive & you're at the Columbia River. An hour to the West is Portland if you are in the mood for some city life, & 35 minutes east is Hood River, a gorgeous old town with tons of charm. The closest town, Stevenson, Washington is home to shops, local restaurants, & access to the Columbia River.
