Lovely private stay perfect for a few old dogs. Easy for the dogs to dip in the river and lots of space to sun bathe. Was near a road but didn't bother us at all. You will need a capable vehicle to make it down the dirt road. Don't know if it was intentional or left over, but we appreciated the hammock hookups that allowed us to easily hang the hammock we brought as well! There are also other hammocks on site already to use. There was lots of space so eould be perfect for a larger family gathering. If you go in the fall you can time it with the pumpkin patch activities!

Group trip
I wish I could keep this place a secret so it's available whenever I want to book it, but I have to be honest about how great this spot is.
If you choose to stay here, you can expect excellent hosts who are friendly and great at communicating if you have questions. The site is private, and very nicely set up. The cabin is very cozy. There is a queen-sized bed with clean, quality bedding, a small wood stove, and generator-powered electricity, including a coffee maker. If you have kids, there is room on the floor for an air mattress (the floor is concrete with a thin rug).
The site has hammocks and picnic tables, plus outdoor string lights that make the spot even more magical. The creek is a wonderful place to splash around and observe aquatic wildlife. There are outdoor fire pits for your enjoyment when burn bans are not in effect. The portable restroom is well-stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer, and it is clean and well-maintained. In addition, there is a hand-wash station with soap and water.
You do need a vehicle with decent ground clearance to access the location. Make sure you allow yourself enough time to check out the farm stand at Get to Gather Farms to purchase their farm products, and check out the critters as well! It is about a 1 mile walk, mostly uphill, to the farm stand, but well worth it.
We love this place, and plan on coming back as many times as our schedule will allow. My dog and my human friends were all very impressed. We will be back!

Riverside cabin is the perfect quick getaway that is absolutely picturesque. The privacy and amount of space you have access to phenomenal. The farm store is the perfect place to purchase some of your food needs so you can pack light.I do recommend your own portable toilet if you have one. There is some road noise in the daytime but quiet at night. Our host got us to try some goose eggs and one of the best things we did, they are amazing. I highly recommend them. The generator is not strong enough to run any type of hot plate if there is a burn ban and you cannot use any type of fire even propane, it can get a little difficult to make some food. We will definitely be back during a no burn ban.

Such a gorgeous spot that is perfect if you’re looking for a private place for families, kiddos, and four legged friends. It was so easy to enjoy being there knowing our kids & dogs could explore different areas of the campground but be safe and visible. Farmer John was very hospitable and helpful when we needed it, a great host! You get access to a sweet little swim hole on the Washougal, and there’s plenty of tree shade for tents. We can’t wait to come back again in the fall!
