An extension to the Honey Grove trail leads out of the property accessing a user maintained hiking/mountain biking trail with 1.5, 3, 5 and 7 mile loop options. Other nearby activities include hiking and mountain biking in Mary's Peak and Alsea Falls recreational area. Weekend Trip to Zen Garden Sanctuary Spa

These guys put the hip in #hipcamp. Jim was a wonderful and engaging host. We stayed in the caboose and the highlights were hanging out with the host and his friends, the sauna, and hot tub. If you are bringing kids maybe check with the host or Eric on the vibe before coming. It is a beautiful property and you can tell Jim has put a lot of thought, effort, and himself in the place. We hope to return, go Hoosiers!

One of my favorite cabin stays Ive ever experienced! The land is magical and the cabin was so cozy and inviting with thoughtful touches. My favorite place was the loft, waking up to the windows surrounding you with beautiful trees and rain pouring on the roof- can’t get much better. My partner and my dog and I felt very welcomed by Danny and Molly and we hope to return!

Carly’s property and yurt made for a perfect weekend getaway! Though just minutes from downtown, it was quiet, private, peaceful, and secluded. The space had everything we needed, including a functional toilet and shower. Along with the cozy vibe of the yurt, there were plenty of options for hiking trails and close to a vineyard for wine tasting. I highly recommend this property for a nice, cozy getaway.

Weekend Trip to Alsea Valley Farm

We had a wonderful time staying at this special spot for a friends getaway. Our host was extremely helpful and responsive. The cabin is so well thought-out, and it's lovely to see the creativity and time that has gone into this property. It's so nice to be able to walk right out the door and hike their private trails, listen to the creek, and relax. We arrived right after fire restrictions were lifted, so we were able to use the outdoor fire pit and look at the stars. We also used the sauna every day we were there. It has an electric sauna heater and a small woodstove, so you can choose your heat source, and the short little path down to the cold dip in the creek is genius. Some folks in reviews have mentioned the composting toilets--as some of our group lives entirely off-grid, we were actually taking pictures of their setup because it's really well designed. Just think of all the water you're saving in the world. The property itself is well cared for, and their little dog is such a cutie. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic and relaxing time with our pups. They loved running around in the grass, and sleeping inside by the cozy wood stove. The yurt is completely equipped, we barely had to bring more than some food and our clothes! We walked over to the winery next door, wandered the trails on the property, and relaxed with games and books. A really special weekend!

This place is magical. You feel it right when you drive up and it just pops up everywhere in all the details of the property. The cabin views are incredible and it’s so cool to watch the birds/sky change colors throughout the day. Also the bed/cabin is so cozy I slept for 10+ hours both nights (magic!). Kim is so kind and generous. She feels like you’ve known her for ages. It’s hard to put into words how special this place felt. In short, I can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to come back!

The Glamping tent at Roshambo was a treat! It was out in a beautiful field backed up to blackberries and a hawthorn tree, sounds of the crickets so wonderful at night and such big stars! I had never visited the west valley before and I’ll definitely be back. It was nice to be there on a weekend and enjoy great conversation in the shaded tasting area before wandering across the field to my camp spot. They were very welcoming of my dog too. Next year, I hope to come and camp for their music nights. Only note is there is no shade in the camp areas, including the glamping tents.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Vista Tent! Everything was impeccably clean, all you could possibly need was provided, and the bed was SO comfy! We loved our time at Carly’s!! We loved it so much, we stayed an additional night. Every detail was thought of. Very well curated. It felt luxurious. And the sauna!!! Huge perk we went several times. Will definitely stay here again. Two things to note: be physically capable of walking up a steep incline while carrying items to get to the TENT. The location and view are perfect and very private, but it’s a little workout to get up there for sure. Secondly there are many farm animals and dogs. The noise travels easily and it can be noisy late into the night. We still slept fine and loved our stay overall - but important to be aware of before you arrive.

We loved staying at the Alsea family farms creek cabin! Where to begin?! The hosts were so kind and left us veggies and fresh strawberries picked from their garden on the property. Also a fresh vase of flowers sat on the kitchen table when we arrived which was so thoughtful. The cabin has a private hiking trail that was so peaceful and lovely. The streams and small series of bridges behind the cabin was charming and peaceful. I sat on the bigger footbridge for breakfast one morning taking in the surroundings. Small and all children not connected to devices especially would love to explore around near the creek and look and listen for critters. For the space itself was beautiful clean with everything you need. Bedding was lovely to look at comfortable to sleep in and clean. One thing that might throw certain people off would be the composting toilet. The management team works hard maintaining the space and keeping it as clean and functional and good smelling as possible. But it is a composting toilet. I personally had no problem with it. I grew up camping so this was no big deal. Up in the loft my children said they felt like they were in a treehouse. We really enjoyed everything about this place and I would have stayed longer if I could. I look forward to coming back and have shared pictures and my experience with friends. 2 nights at Alsea Valley Farm

This was such a tranquil spot for our family. The cabin had everything we needed, was super comfortable, with so many windows looking out into the beautiful woods. The camp hosts were thoughtful and friendly, responded quickly to messages, and welcomed us onto the whole property with its gardens and chickens. We took a relaxing stroll through the stunning woods and spent quiet afternoons playing games and reading. Perfect!

Absolutely beautiful place to be! Our family loved staying in the yurt, sitting around the fire at night, and falling asleep seeing the stars through the clear window on top of the yurt.
