Close to area cities, but private and beautiful. Campsites are along the woods in an open meadow. We have a tasting room onsite where we serve cider, perry and wine that we make here (open Fri-Sun, 3-9pm in summer). Lots of great bird watching, beautiful gardens and great backdrop of the coast Range. We host a summer concert series, usually on Saturdays, so those days are blocked. You may still be able to come though- just shoot me a message!

Tent Site is for campers who want to pitch their own tent on the farm. We can be a bit flexible on where you might want to sleep, especially if it is just for one night! There isn't a ton of shade during the middle of the day anywhere on the property, but we can try and get you either morning or afternoon shade. Please let us know if you have a dog (and how many!) we have a farm dog and cats and want to plan accordingly.

One RV site is in the open field on our property. Most people park near the tasting room parking lot so they don't have to traverse the grassy field too much. We have a few site options though and are somewhat flexible on location. It's a short walk over to the Art+ Science tasting room area where you can get a drink Friday-Sunday, 3-9pm. There is a flushing toilet by the tasting room and seating areas guests are welcome to use. We sometimes we have live music on the weekends, if the site is blocked on the day you want, it's likely during a music event. We still allow camping, but we don't always have glamps available as we set them aside for bands to use. Our property is an organic farm with a wide open field with a beautiful view of the Coast Range! It can get hot in the summer, but most nights we enjoy a coastal breeze that comes in and makes things bearable.  Dusk is my favorite time of night here when the mountain range glows a soft purple and you can often glimpse barn owls hunting the fields.

The Pygmy Owl Tent sits is roomy and comes furnished with a real queen bed and cushy bedding and pillows, 2 chairs and a bedside table. We can add a power box (if available) to this tent to give you lights and a charging station too. This glamp tent is tucked in the corner of the property to get the most of both afternoon and early morning shade. FYI, there are animals in the woods and deer & owl noises & sightings are normal. The porta potty bathroom is a couple hundred feet away You do need to drive across a grass field for access. (it's only a little bit bumpy, but you can get there in a regular car) It's a short walk over to the Art+ Science tasting room area where you can get a drink Friday-Sunday, 3-9pm. The Barn Swallow Cabin Tent is roomy and comes furnished with a real queen bed and cushy bedding and pillows, 2 chairs and a bedside table. We can add a power box (if available) to this tent to give you lights and a charging station too. It's tucked up against the hedgerow for bit of morning sun protection. FYI, there are animals in the woods and deer & owl noises & sightings are normal. The porta potty bathroom is a couple hundred feet away The cabin tent is along the edge of the field, it is between two other tent sites, but with enough distance between to have a good buffer. You do need to drive across a grass field for access. This is a beautiful place! The way Kim had made it special with the cabin and the tasting area is really great. Very peaceful and not too far away from McMinnville if you were silly like us and forgot to bring food. The dogs also loved it!

Sarah was a Wonderful Host! She was Very Welcoming-made us feel comfortable. The land is beautiful and we really enjoyed the Lounge area to relax out of the Sun. Was easy to get to.

Kim is great! Welcomed us and helped get us settled in a perfect spot. Water is easily accessed to fill up a camper, and there are bathrooms on site. Wifi is strong and consistent. The Hipcamp site is beautiful, quiet, and away from it all but not too far from McMinnville where you can see a movie, or grab a meal or walk about a cute downtown. And the stargazing is amazing!

This place is magical. You feel it right when you drive up and it just pops up everywhere in all the details of the property. The cabin views are incredible and it’s so cool to watch the birds/sky change colors throughout the day. Also the bed/cabin is so cozy I slept for 10+ hours both nights (magic!). Kim is so kind and generous. She feels like you’ve known her for ages. It’s hard to put into words how special this place felt. In short, I can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to come back!

Pygmy Owl Cabin Tent
The Glamping tent at Roshambo was a treat! It was out in a beautiful field backed up to blackberries and a hawthorn tree, sounds of the crickets so wonderful at night and such big stars! What a wonderful relaxed vibe Kim provides with the cider tastings, amenities offerings and her flexible and gracious hospitality. I can’t recommend this spot enough and Will definitely be back!

Great west valley stay

Pygmy Owl Cabin Tent
I had never visited the west valley before and I’ll definitely be back. It was nice to be there on a weekend and enjoy great conversation in the shaded tasting area before wandering across the field to my camp spot. They were very welcoming of my dog too. Next year, I hope to come and camp for their music nights. Only note is there is no shade in the camp areas, including the glamping tents.

I would highly recommend staying at Roshambo Artfarm. Kim, the owner, is very welcoming and will explain what sets their wine and ciders apart from the others. Sitting up on a bluff, the views were beautiful.

Kim’s land was not only beautiful, but a pleasant escape for the night. The cider tasting is not to be missed, and really brought all the other HipCampers together. I wish I planned to stay longer, because it really was a great experience!

Loved the tent and LOVED the super comfy bed. It was a very cute little spot for a good value. We had campers on either side of us but the way the owners set everything up allowed it to still feel private. I really appreciate the hosts for being so responsive and accommodating. Can’t say enough good things about them! Having the tasting room within walking distance was also fantastic. Would definitely book again.

The Roshambo Artfarm was a lovely, quiet location and Kim was a pleasure to correspond with. The restrooms were very nice. I enjoyed the beautiful flower beds around the outdoor tasting room and lounge. I was there mid-week when the tasting room was not open.

What a beautiful spot to tent camp! The property is wonderfully taken care of, plenty of space to stretch out, incredible ciders, clean and comfortable restrooms, really can’t say enough about how much I loved it here and I can’t wait to come back and check out one of their live shows!

We loved this place. It was quiet and beautiful. Lots of space. The sinks and flushing toilets were a huge bonus. The ciders and wines made there were also very tasty. There is almost no shade during the day since you’re camping at the edge of the field, but we chose the side that had morning shade and it was lovely. Highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Perfect spot for a getaway

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago, the hosts are great peoplem. The cabin has a comfortable bed, love the decor, very short walk to the well maintained porta potty. If you want a little escape from the city I can't recommend Roshambo Art Farm enough and I'm looking forward to my next stay.

Great communication from hosts! So many wonderful features including a common space called “the lounge,” with cidar and wine tasting when open. . Lots of private space. Clean bathrooms. Beautiful stars at night.

Amazing stop for me when I was biking from the Oregon coast back to Portland! The host were so friendly and helpful! The tent and RV sites are on top of a beautiful hill with a panoramic lookout of the sunset! If you have a chance to try some of the cider they grown on the orchard nearby it will be worth it! So good! Lots of outdoor seating space and lounge area with plenty of charm! The cherry on top is the hidden cabin on the West of the hill that surrounded by wild berry trees.

Was honestly such a beautiful place to spend the night! You are about halfway between Salem and the coast, so it gets nice and dark. There is a bit of light pollution from a logging plant a couple hills over, but still very beautiful at night. I absolutely will be staying here again in the future, just next time, I will be more prepared for how cold it can get! Lol
