Close to area cities, but private and beautiful. Campsites are along the woods in an open meadow. We have a tasting room onsite where we serve cider, perry and wine that we make here (open Fri-Sun, 3-9pm in summer). Lots of great bird watching, beautiful gardens and great backdrop of the coast Range. We host a summer concert series, usually on Saturdays, so those days are blocked. Weekend Trip to Kilchis River Retreat

The cabin at Sarah’s place is awesome. It’s warm and cozy with thoughtful touches and the rushing river is blissful. Seeing the salmon spawning and jumping was an extra treat. Dionne is a amazing host that helped us find the location and also came out to make sure we were all good at our campsite later on in the night. I recommend going to this hipcamp any time!

Camp Colton is an awesome place to visit! Their property is large and has a lot of activities to explore (animal petting area, trails on the property, and a fishing pond). They've got a variety of awesome structures including cabins, a tiny home, yurts, and a communal covered fire pit gazebo. The Beehive cottage met my expectations perfectly, it was clean, warm, and tucked into the trees right by a creek that runs through the property. It was perfect for a quick getaway, while providing comfortable amenities during a cold and rainy Oregon fall evening. The bed is perfectly comfortable, and was made prior to my arrival. The host provided towels and linens, I didn't need to bring anything extra. Additionally, there is a covered back patio which is a perfect spot to sit out and listen to the babble of the creek and wildlife spot. I would recommend a stay here!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was cozy, the river view was beautiful, and having the chickens around (plus renting Butters the cat!) made it extra fun. 🐓🐾 The campfire setup was perfect, and the hosts were awesome! Super responsive and kind. Such a peaceful little escape...we’ll definitely be back!
