Coos Bay has an regional airport made accessible by our world class golf course Bandon Dunes 1/2 hour from our place. The airport has one 55 minute flight a day to San Francisco. While the listing says "no wheel chair access" this is just for the camper because there are steps. If someone in your party has a wheelchair and would like to camp we can help you arrange the area for a tent or car camping for that individual but we do not have an accessible toilet other than an REI camp seat on bucket we can let you borrow if you promise to clean :) Our tiny house is on the same property as this camper. We have two gates so our guests have a private entrance with secure parking. There are two well behaved dogs, Figi and Kit and one cat, Riddle on the property. It is okay to have your well behaved dog off leash and a small camp fire most times of the year. We have an outdoor sitting area and BBQ. Small shower bath combo in the camper and in progress a dog washing station! Even though the photos illustrate the beauty and privacy to the West, we do hear some traffic to the East and the ground can be a bit muddy near the bay. We encourage guests to walk on the pathways vs the marsh which we are preserving if they head out to the sandy beach to clam or kayak. Other sports that could be fun would be kite surfing, or wet suit swimming.

The main camping area has enough room for about 2 large RV's or 3 smaller RV's depending on the size.  We like to allow for turn around room and pretty much let you set up camp however you like.  There is some overflow parking if needed across the property near our shop for an additional $5 charge per vehicle which we can discuss.  We do not have a toilet facility, so you must be self contained.  Pricing is $60 per night per RV.  We are approximately 1.8 miles from Hwy 101 across from the Myrtlewood factory in Hauser.  We are close to the dunes and Horsefall beach.  This is dry camping with water available via hose from our house if needed.  Fire season may be in effect depending on the season. (See restrictions.) If you do reserve with us, please make sure you reserve according to how many RV's in your group.  Please be courteous when making reservations and try not to cancel last minute. If you have additional questions, please call or send me a message. Also each upstairs bedroom has a hanging bed with three 8 foot skylights above for indoor star gazing. Original artworks from local artists are throughout the home. Many pleasantries await the curious such as embedded fossils in the cracked mud walls.Nestled amongst towering fir and cedar trees, with windows everywhere, you'll feel and see nature's presence. This home site has a remarkably peaceful way about it. Recently featured in Southern Oregon Magazine and KCBY 11 TV's ~In Focus~ 'Goin' Green' and Oregon's Solar Home Tour, this is a unique 'green' home. This home was built with environmentally friendly materials. Building with little impact on the surroundings was very important to us during construction. The myrtle hardwood floor in the kitchen and living room was milled on site which came from trees that stood where the house is now. Same story for the beautiful maple flooring in the ½ bath. All of the large beams and fir flooring came from two 4' thick 104 year old douglas fir trees which also stood and were milled where the house is now. The fir trees sprouted after the last forest fire that came through the canyon. One of our neighbors fell a sixty five year old redwood that was over six feet thick! We used some of it as a wonderful wainscot paneling throughout the house. All of the finishes used are no or low VOC. Surrounding the house is native vegetation, huge trees and a few herbs and spices for cooking. You'll enjoy the fully equipped kitchen with labradorite granite counters. The kitchen island has a new five burner gas stove with a convection oven and warming oven. The island has plenty of granite and wood counter space. Hanging from the exhaust hood are stainless, non-stick, and cast iron cookware. We also provide shade grown fair trade coffee and a grinder, espresso machine, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, utensils, chef knives, glasses and frosty cocktail glasses in the freezer. The dining room table has a river view and can seat six comfortably. There is also seating for three at the island bar. From the kitchen you can visit with the folks in the living room thanks to the open floor plan. Beside the wood stove are two chairs and the futon couch with reading lamp. A CD changer, TV with a DVD player and VHS machine are in the downstairs bedroom. Bring your favorite videos or browse our selection of movies. The property has 150 feet of creek frontage with great views of Glenn creek, the forest and distant cliffs. Enjoy wildlife viewing with River Dippers, Chipmunks, Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, Screech Owls, Pileated Wood Peckers, Elk, an occasional Bald Eagle or River Otter and other wildlife from the house and back deck. The main camping area has enough room for about 2 large RV's or 3 smaller RV's depending on the size.  We like to allow for turn around room and pretty much let you set up camp however you like.  There is some overflow parking if needed across the property near our shop for an additional $5 charge per vehicle which we can discuss.  We do not have a toilet facility, so you must be self contained.  Pricing is $60 per night per RV.  We are approximately 1.8 miles from Hwy 101 across from the Myrtlewood factory in Hauser.  We are close to the dunes and Horsefall beach.  This is dry camping with water available via hose from our house if needed.  Fire season may be in effect depending on the season. (See restrictions.) If you do reserve with us, please make sure you reserve according to how many RV's in your group.  Please be courteous when making reservations and try not to cancel last minute. If you have additional questions, please call or send me a message. We like to let people know that there are a lot of deer passing through all the time and they do leave droppings everywhere that we cannot control, so please be aware.  Pets must be on a leash at all times please. Relax and revive in this artistic 'cabin' with wonderful views of historic Glenn Creek from every room. An architectural dream, you enter this lodge style home through a pivoting hobbit style front door with hardware from the 1800's. Highlights of this original home include a gourmet kitchen with labradorite granite counters, 800 year old juniper tree spiral stair case, huge beams and exposed rafters, a sauna, and a romantic wood stove. Also each upstairs bedroom has a hanging bed with three 8 foot skylights above for indoor star gazing. Original artworks from local artists are throughout the home. Many pleasantries await the curious such as embedded fossils in the cracked mud walls.Nestled amongst towering fir and cedar trees, with windows everywhere, you'll feel and see nature's presence. This home site has a remarkably peaceful way about it. Recently featured in Southern Oregon Magazine and KCBY 11 TV's ~In Focus~ 'Goin' Green' and Oregon's Solar Home Tour, this is a unique 'green' home. This home was built with environmentally friendly materials. Building with little impact on the surroundings was very important to us during construction. The myrtle hardwood floor in the kitchen and living room was milled on site which came from trees that stood where the house is now. Same story for the beautiful maple flooring in the ½ bath. All of the large beams and fir flooring came from two 4' thick 104 year old douglas fir trees which also stood and were milled where the house is now. The fir trees sprouted after the last forest fire that came through the canyon. One of our neighbors fell a sixty five year old redwood that was over six feet thick! We used some of it as a wonderful wainscot paneling throughout the house. All of the finishes used are no or low VOC. Surrounding the house is native vegetation, huge trees and a few herbs and spices for cooking. You'll enjoy the fully equipped kitchen with labradorite granite counters. The kitchen island has a new five burner gas stove with a convection oven and warming oven. The island has plenty of granite and wood counter space. Hanging from the exhaust hood are stainless, non-stick, and cast iron cookware. We also provide shade grown fair trade coffee and a grinder, espresso machine, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, utensils, chef knives, glasses and frosty cocktail glasses in the freezer. The dining room table has a river view and can seat six comfortably. There is also seating for three at the island bar. From the kitchen you can visit with the folks in the living room thanks to the open floor plan. Beside the wood stove are two chairs and the futon couch with reading lamp. A CD changer, TV with a DVD player and VHS machine are in the downstairs bedroom. Bring your favorite videos or browse our selection of movies. The property has 150 feet of creek frontage with great views of Glenn creek, the forest and distant cliffs. Enjoy wildlife viewing with River Dippers, Chipmunks, Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, Screech Owls, Pileated Wood Peckers, Elk, an occasional Bald Eagle or River Otter and other wildlife from the house and back deck. Build a fire and have lunch on the nearby picnic table and benches.

Exceeded Expectations! Tim's property is stunning. Everything is very well maintained, the porta-potty is the cleanest and best smelling that I've ever experienced. The area is open, yet private. We had a sneaky visitor while we were gone one afternoon, help himself to a jar of peanut butter we mistakenly left out. Our Racoon camp buddy came back that night to sniff our tent and hang out in the bushes while we relaxed by the fire. The location is perfect. It's very close to one of the best beach spots along the southern Oregon Coast, Sunset Bay. While we didn't make use of the shower or sauna, we checked them out when we picked up firewood and chatted with Tim - they seemed clean and inviting. Tim was a great host - I had some vehicle issues that caused us to get in very late one night and impacted our departure time. He just gave us a jovial wave as we left. FYI - Lots of neat stuff to explore within the camping area - check out the creek! The ground was wet and slick; I tried as hard as I could to not spin-out in my truck, but unfortunately I left a few minor marks in Tim's beautifully maintained grass. Very sorry, Tim!

We loved our stay here! Melissa and Dave were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Our dog loved playing with their two super sweet dogs, and there are few things nicer than walking right out to the water from the camper to have coffee or watch the sunset. The camper was cozy and warm, bed was comfy, and overall delightful place to stay.

The yurt was very roomy and comfortable! There were lights and a propane heater and a comfy futon. There was a picnic table and fire ring out front. We arrived after dark and it was a little tricky to navigate to the site in the dark but we managed. We stayed one night and were pleased with how private and remote the campsite was. The view of the stars was incredible due to low light pollution! Highly recommend this "glamping" experience.

I had an amazing stay at this cozy yurt near Coos Bay, Oregon. The property itself is stunning—set on a vast stretch of woodland that is even part of a golf course, it felt like a peaceful retreat tucked away in nature. The yurt was warm, inviting, and the skylight made it extra special. Hearing the nearby stream in the evening and waking up to soft natural light were some of my favorite things about the yurt stay. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, even taking the time to show me where to find edible mushrooms on the property. It’s clear they genuinely enjoy sharing their land and encouraging guests to explore and connect with the outdoors. The sauna and outdoor-style shower added to the rustic, nature-inspired experience—simple, refreshing, and perfectly in tune with the setting. Overall, this stay was peaceful, unique, and full of thoughtful touches. As a solo female I felt incredibly safe and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, nature-focused getaway. 🌿

Absolutely stunning ocean front property and cozy bungalow equipped with small kitchenette, couch and cute rustic decor. The kitchenette had a coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave and mini fridge as well as necessary cutlery. The composting toilet was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. For being right on the cliffside, the bungalow was very dry inside and not a bit moist or musty like most coastal houses can be. The path to the beach is very steep but well maintained. Morning coffee on the beach is a must! Beach is low tide access only. My little dog was the happiest I’ve ever seen her. She was elated, running circles on the luscious property and scaling the rocks on the beach. 10/10 would love to stay again!

Tim's place was absolutely amazing, the endless possibilities and beautiful sounds and views 😍 we will be back. The sites where way bigger than we expected, we had plenty of room for all of us. It was so nice. We could hear the Elk and sea lions all night and the morning before we left we seen some whales just a couple of minutes down the road. It was an experience.
