The property is a picturesque blend of ancient White Oaks, shady Maples & fields bursting with wildflowers in the spring. Several vantage points offer views of the Columbia River & iconic Mt. Hood.
During your stay, take a stroll through our one-acre garden & visit our seasonal farmstand that sits just outside the garden gate where a U-pick herb garden awaits.
Our camp features our Dreaming Tree site, an open one-acre field that sits alongside a quiet county road with minimal traffic. Big White Oaks provide a shady outdoor retreat with a view of Mt. Hood. This site is large enough to also accommodate large groups & gatherings.
While unlisted, an adjacent site "Hideout in the Hollow", can often be made available also per request.
There is a spring fed water spigot at the corral for washing up. While our family finds this spring water safe & refreshing to drink, keep in mind, it is UNfiltered thus classified as non-potable water that needs to be purified before drinking.
This site offers a unique experience where you can take a closer look at farm life by encountering cows, pigs, goats & free-range chickens. Feed them apples when available or even your left over food scraps! Don't forget to meet Petunia, our beloved free-range Kunekune pig. While shy at 1st, her affinity for snacks & belly rubs makes her favor easily earned.
Beyond the farm, you'll find yourself perfectly situated just 1.5 miles east of Catherine Creek Rec. Area. This prime location caters to a wide range of interests, from hiking & mountain biking to hunting & rock climbing at Coyote Wall. Wine tasting at four neighborhood wineries (two within walking distance) is also a popular activity. The area teems with wildlife, including deer, wild turkey, songbirds & woodpeckers.

Our property is located within the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, an 80-mile stretch of protected land that stands as the largest national scenic area in the United States. This region is world-renowned for its high concentration of waterfalls, endless hiking trails, sweeping vistas, and iconic scenic drives.
We offer two very large dispersed camping sites on the property, both with easy road access. Each of these sites is very secluded, flat, and private. For those looking to explore on foot, there is a stunning hike to a nearby bird reserve that can be started right from the property.
The trail follows a scenic ridge for several miles, providing constant views of Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, the Columbia River, and the surrounding cherry orchards.
To enhance your stay, the shared hot tub on the property can be reserved for a one-hour private soaking session per day at no extra charge. While this is a natural, dispersed camping experience, there are certain areas on the property where campers can connect to WiFi if needed.
If you visit from mid-April to mid-May, you will find the property completely transformed, as it becomes covered in vibrant Balsamroot and a variety of other local wildflowers.

Waterfall Sanctuary is a hidden gem on 17 acres, bordered on two sides by the Gifford Pinchot N F. In the heart of the Columbia River Gorge just outside Carson, Washington. It's home to a mini-farm with goats, ducks, & chickens. Deer & elk walk through the property on a fairly regular basis depending on the season, it's less than a mile walk (or short drive) to the Wind River with a swimming hole, & a short distance further to the Pacific Crest Trail.
A 20-minute drive & you're at the Columbia River. An hour to the West is Portland if you are in the mood for some city life, & 35 minutes east is Hood River, a gorgeous old town with tons of charm. The closest town, Stevenson, Washington is home to shops, local restaurants, & access to the Columbia River.
Also in close proximity are amazing waterfalls, trails, & National Forest roads that are close by & well maintained. No matter the season there is something to do a short distance from the property.
Keep in mind that the property is very rugged except for the trails we have provided to access other parts of the property. We are as off grid & sustainable as possible- while no electricity or running water is available at the individual sites, we provide battery or solar operated lighting, a container of water for each site.

Our camp is right off the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Highway just minutes away from Portland Women's Forum and Crown Point, the Jewel of the Columbia.
Our facilities include an outdoor shower, a solar-powered composting toilet, fresh water, fire pits, and plenty of flat ground surrounded by trees for excellent camping!

Note: The use of the sauna, hot tub, and composting toilet are only for Glamp bookings! The campsites and tipi use the port-a-potty and have the use of an on-demand outdoor shower, which is free of charge.
Our home and farm is on two acres. Your tent site, is all in our ample acreage.
Although pets are welcome, we expect them to be well-behaved around our two cats, our own big sweetie of a pup, Frejya, our two crazy goats Cupcake and Muffin, and our free-ranging chickens. Expect to hear some animal noises here on the farm.
Our property literally borders the scenic highway. Because we are so close, you can hear the sunset-view-seeking drivers, motorcycle riders, and yes, racers who come out this way for a spin on one of the most scenic highways in the world. Traffic quiets down after dark and mornings are quite 'chill'.

Nestled among majestic White Oaks, our HipCamp, Havest Haven rests within the charming Hillbilly Farm, a family-owned & operated haven with roots that run the depths of 6 generations. .
The property is a picturesque blend of ancient White Oaks, shady Maples & fields bursting with wildflowers in the spring. Several vantage points offer views of the Columbia River & iconic Mt. Hood.
During your stay, take a stroll through our one-acre garden & visit our seasonal farmstand that sits just outside the garden gate where a U-pick herb garden awaits.
Our camp features our Dreaming Tree site, an open one-acre field that sits alongside a quiet county road with minimal traffic. Big White Oaks provide a shady outdoor retreat with a view of Mt. Hood. This site is large enough to also accommodate large groups & gatherings.
While unlisted, an adjacent site "Hideout in the Hollow", can often be made available also per request.
There is a spring fed water spigot at the corral for washing up. While our family finds this spring water safe & refreshing to drink, keep in mind, it is UNfiltered thus classified as non-potable water that needs to be purified before drinking.
This site offers a unique experience where you can take a closer look at farm life by encountering cows, pigs, goats & free-range chickens. Feed them apples when available or even your left over food scraps! Don't forget to meet Petunia, our beloved free-range Kunekune pig. While shy at 1st, her affinity for snacks & belly rubs makes her favor easily earned.
Beyond the farm, you'll find yourself perfectly situated just 1.5 miles east of Catherine Creek Rec. Area. This prime location caters to a wide range of interests, from hiking & mountain biking to hunting & rock climbing at Coyote Wall. Wine tasting at four neighborhood wineries (two within walking distance) is also a popular activity. The area teems with wildlife, including deer, wild turkey, songbirds & woodpeckers.

Our property is located within the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, an 80-mile stretch of protected land that stands as the largest national scenic area in the United States. This region is world-renowned for its high concentration of waterfalls, endless hiking trails, sweeping vistas, and iconic scenic drives.
We offer two very large dispersed camping sites on the property, both with easy road access. Each of these sites is very secluded, flat, and private. For those looking to explore on foot, there is a stunning hike to a nearby bird reserve that can be started right from the property.
The trail follows a scenic ridge for several miles, providing constant views of Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, the Columbia River, and the surrounding cherry orchards.
To enhance your stay, the shared hot tub on the property can be reserved for a one-hour private soaking session per day at no extra charge. While this is a natural, dispersed camping experience, there are certain areas on the property where campers can connect to WiFi if needed.
If you visit from mid-April to mid-May, you will find the property completely transformed, as it becomes covered in vibrant Balsamroot and a variety of other local wildflowers.

Waterfall Sanctuary is a hidden gem on 17 acres, bordered on two sides by the Gifford Pinchot N F. In the heart of the Columbia River Gorge just outside Carson, Washington. It's home to a mini-farm with goats, ducks, & chickens. Deer & elk walk through the property on a fairly regular basis depending on the season, it's less than a mile walk (or short drive) to the Wind River with a swimming hole, & a short distance further to the Pacific Crest Trail.
A 20-minute drive & you're at the Columbia River. An hour to the West is Portland if you are in the mood for some city life, & 35 minutes east is Hood River, a gorgeous old town with tons of charm. The closest town, Stevenson, Washington is home to shops, local restaurants, & access to the Columbia River.
Also in close proximity are amazing waterfalls, trails, & National Forest roads that are close by & well maintained. No matter the season there is something to do a short distance from the property.
Keep in mind that the property is very rugged except for the trails we have provided to access other parts of the property. We are as off grid & sustainable as possible- while no electricity or running water is available at the individual sites, we provide battery or solar operated lighting, a container of water for each site.

Our home and farm is on two acres. Your tent site, is all in our ample acreage.
Although pets are welcome, we expect them to be well-behaved around our two cats, our own big sweetie of a pup, Frejya, our two crazy goats Cupcake and Muffin, and our free-ranging chickens. Expect to hear some animal noises here on the farm.
Our property literally borders the scenic highway. Because we are so close, you can hear the sunset-view-seeking drivers, motorcycle riders, and yes, racers who come out this way for a spin on one of the most scenic highways in the world. Traffic quiets down after dark and mornings are quite 'chill'.

Incredible! Surrounding trails and transport were perfect. Beautiful area and Jim was generous and kind. He made sure we were taken care of and was practically on call with an immediate response the whole time we were there. He offered us rides to get food when we didnt have a car and helped get us home off the mountain safely. Beautiful human being. The tent warmers were fantastic enough to keep us perfectly warm in snowy weather. We had so much fun! Thank you and thank you so much Jim!

Great experience sleeping near the gorge. Got snowed in but our hosts were gracious enough to stop by and give us heads up of the inclement weather. They offered us some of their wood for the stove and a parking spot out of the rough snow covered roads. What a hidden gem! I’ve never glamped before but have always wanted to try, and this place exceeded my expectations. The tent was super cozy and the space heaters/heated mattress pads kept us nice and warm through the night. We woke up to snow and then enjoyed the absolutely MAGICAL sauna in the woods (with a cold plunge in the creek). Also a plus knowing that the money from the stay goes to support the kids at the boarding school. Highly recommend and will definitely be looking for another time to come back :)

Absolutely adored this treehouse!
The owners were great to work with and very accommodating, directions were very clear, and the overall scenery and aesthetic was absolutely adorable!
I would be a bit careful with the roads and make sure your tires are up for the job. I got a flat from all the sharp rocks and found out the morning of check out, but the on-site neighbor Jeremy was a ton of help!
The treehouse is quite secluded with a hot tub, oven, all the things you need. We hung out on the pull out couch downstairs while we played games. Absolutely adorable and cannot wait to go again!
