We have a tasting room onsite where we serve cider, perry and wine that we make here (open Fri-Sun, 3-9pm in summer). Lots of great bird watching, beautiful gardens and great backdrop of the coast Range. We host a summer concert series, usually on Saturdays, so those days are blocked. Rustic tent and hammock camping on 20 private forested acres, just half a mile from the Pacific Ocean. It’s peaceful, wild, and surprisingly close to Yachats. You’ll fall asleep to ocean waves, not generators. This isn’t a tourist campground. It’s our home. We’re opening a few of our favorite spots to people who appreciate quiet, nature, and thoughtful presence. Our campsites were built for our family, not mass use. If you like forest stillness and a touch of wildness, you’ll probably love it here. If you’re looking for drive-in glamping with full facilities, this probably isn’t your spot. What to expect: • Walk-in campsites (5 minutes or less from parking) • No RVs, trailers, or car camping • No water, power, or trash service: pack everything out • Shared outhouse: use for bodily waste only! • Optional outdoor shower ($10/person) by request. It's attached to our home and rustic (some love it, others skip it - or wish they’d brought a bathing suit.) • Guided check-in required between 4–7 PM. No arrivals after 8 PM • All communication via Hipcamp messages - no text messages • One check-in per group. If arriving in two vehicles, coordinate timing or walk your party in You’ll park near our greenhouse and home, where you may see chickens, a kiddo on the play structure, or hear a tractor. Campsites are deeper in the woods and often feel totally private. A seasonal creek flows nearby. Depending on the time of year, you might spot wild mushrooms, huckleberries, and more. The beach is about a 15-minute walk, including a short stretch along Highway 101. It’s walkable but may feel exposed to some. Yachats, the 804 Trail, and Cape Perpetua are all nearby. This land once held a WWI-era spruce logging camp. We’ve lived here since 2013, slowly transforming bramble into trails, gardens, and space to grow. Our son is a cancer survivor, and our connection to this land runs deep. We’re not a commercial farm - we’re a family practicing stewardship, slow living, and welcoming guests who do the same. We love hosting quiet campers, nature lovers, foragers, backwoods hikers, and families who understand personal space and come prepared. If that’s you, you’ll feel right at home.

A 40-acre isolated forest paradise, our property has several places to dry camp with your tent or with your trailer/RV. We are close to Falls City, the vast wilderness of the Oregon Coast Range, Valley of the Giants, and are about a 15 minute drive from the cities of Dallas and Monmouth. We have two sites currently ready for camping with AMAZING views of the Oregon Coast Range with phone service, pets allowed if kept on leash (there are animals on neighboring properties), and a designated fire ring for fires if a fire ban is not in place. There is a water hose available for filling up jugs on site. We are currently in the process of putting in an outhouse and showers, but currently we ask that you leave the site as you found it. Carly’s property and yurt made for a perfect weekend getaway! Though just minutes from downtown, it was quiet, private, peaceful, and secluded. The space had everything we needed, including a functional toilet and shower. Along with the cozy vibe of the yurt, there were plenty of options for hiking trails and close to a vineyard for wine tasting. I highly recommend this property for a nice, cozy getaway.

We had a fantastic and relaxing time with our pups. They loved running around in the grass, and sleeping inside by the cozy wood stove. The yurt is completely equipped, we barely had to bring more than some food and our clothes! We walked over to the winery next door, wandered the trails on the property, and relaxed with games and books. A really special weekend!

Kim is great! Welcomed us and helped get us settled in a perfect spot. Water is easily accessed to fill up a camper, and there are bathrooms on site. Wifi is strong and consistent. The Hipcamp site is beautiful, quiet, and away from it all but not too far from McMinnville where you can see a movie, or grab a meal or walk about a cute downtown. And the stargazing is amazing!

This place is magical. You feel it right when you drive up and it just pops up everywhere in all the details of the property. The cabin views are incredible and it’s so cool to watch the birds/sky change colors throughout the day. Also the bed/cabin is so cozy I slept for 10+ hours both nights (magic!). Kim is so kind and generous. She feels like you’ve known her for ages. It’s hard to put into words how special this place felt. In short, I can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to come back!

The Glamping tent at Roshambo was a treat! It was out in a beautiful field backed up to blackberries and a hawthorn tree, sounds of the crickets so wonderful at night and such big stars! What a wonderful relaxed vibe Kim provides with the cider tastings, amenities offerings and her flexible and gracious hospitality. I can’t recommend this spot enough and Will definitely be back!

We had a nice large campground to enjoy for the weekend, there are lots of yummy huckleberries to enjoy and there are many forest critters; small bunnies, chipmunks, raccoons, birds. It is a wonderful place for a retreat. My husband and two small children found it very quiet and the campground was very well kept, and the outhouse was very close.

I had never visited the west valley before and I’ll definitely be back. It was nice to be there on a weekend and enjoy great conversation in the shaded tasting area before wandering across the field to my camp spot. They were very welcoming of my dog too. Next year, I hope to come and camp for their music nights. Only note is there is no shade in the camp areas, including the glamping tents.

I would highly recommend staying at Roshambo Artfarm. Kim, the owner, is very welcoming and will explain what sets their wine and ciders apart from the others. Sitting up on a bluff, the views were beautiful.
