What a special find! The cabin is in a beautiful location, with hiking options right from where you stay. It has all the benefits of being enveloped in nature with above expectations on comfort. It is beautiful to see many years of how they built this property out. Don’t be deterred by the compost toilet. The managers on site are so nice and responsive, they truly made us feel like welcomed guests.

Alsea Valley Farm was a beautiful and peaceful place for our family to spend a couple days. I took advantage of--and loved--the hiking trails, and our daughter was excited for the swing, hammock, and trampoline. The host's dog, Joy, was also a big hit! And the hosts are lovely folks. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Great site and location. Easy to find and access. We really enjoyed hanging out down by the river. Dog friendly with a zip line for the dog to roam. Lots of firewood at the site. The hosts were both very friendly and we loved the DMB theme! We’d definitely stay here again.

2 nights at The Flying F Ranch Bunkhouse

Brent and Tabitha's Flying F Ranch is a perfect getaway that offers privacy, comfort, quiet, and natural beauty right in the beautiful Willamette Valley. We had so much fun cooking cast-iron meals with the ranch's delicious signature beef and farm-fresh eggs front and center in our recipe considerations. We are grateful for the generator power, but didn't use it once -- we were so happy with quiet and relaxation that we opted for lanterns and candles instead & did all of our cooking outdoors. The opportunity to get away in a secluded setting surrounded by gorgeous landscapes and the sights & sounds of wildlife (including friendly roaming cows) gave us a much-needed break from busy jobs and urban chaos. We are so grateful. As return campers already, we will definitely be back. THANK YOU!

We had a truly wonderful family camping trip on Carmen’s land! So peaceful and a stunning location! The cows are great camping companions and the river is beautiful to see and hear! Carmen is a warm and very thoughtful host! Thank you so much Carmen - we certainly will be back in the future!! ❤️

The cabin was super cute. It was great for my husband and I to get out of the rain and relax by the river.

Really great spot. The cabin was great, well appointed and thought out. We ended up using the generator and enjoyed some conveniences. The DVD selection is aces! River is beautiful and the land is lovely. Host we're super nice. We'll definitely go back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Alsea Valley Farm! Beautiful, comfortable accommodations, a great loft that our kid loved, and very welcoming hosts. Whether you want to just hang out inside and read, bake some cookies, relax in the sauna, or get out on the trails and see the woods, you can do it here!

Weekend Trip to Alsea Valley Farm

We had a great friends’ biking weekend using the cabin as a base for exploring the many miles of glorious gravel the Coast Range has to offer. Super relaxing and private spot by the creek with plenty of creature comforts and some fresh farm produce as a bonus. Molly and Danny are really friendly and made us feel welcome. Need to come back to try the wood fire sauna!

What a beautiful location and great cabin! Gorgeous views and scenery and one of the best campgrounds we have visited on Hipcamp. Sarah and Michael were amazing and made our stay extra fun and memorable. They have 3 beautiful cats that hung out with us as well! I would recommend highly and it is a 10/10 stay for me. Weekend Trip to The Flying F Ranch Bunkhouse

Brent and Tabatha, were very kind and they made the whole process of finding the bunker super simple. Everything was just as advertised, and there was plenty of firewood, they made sure the generator had plenty of fuel, and the land and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous.

Super cute cabin right by the river. Hosts were amazing!! Friendly helpful and so great to talk to! Plus the informal cat hosts were adorable! Close to town but still a good forest camping vibe. I will definitely be going back!! <3 :-)

The small town of Lincoln City sits on the shores of the Pacific, at the midpoint of the Oregon coast. It's about 2 hours southwest of big city Portland and an hour west of Salem. Lincoln City sees a lot of traffic from travelers coming to spend time at popular Devils Lake. Trout fishing is a big draw at this state park; you'll also be able to catch crappie, catfish, and bluegill. Are you looking to get out on the water? You can rent a kayak or boat or bring your own. Regatta Grounds Park is the most central and popular area near the lake. Prefer a slightly more isolated spot? Try Sandpoint Park, which offers swimming access with fewer bodies around. If you're coming in via RV, set up camp at Devils Lake RV Park. You'll find full hookup electric and sewer spaces here, as well as free Wi-Fi. Note that the spaces are long but quite narrow, so pull in cautiously if you're in a big rig!
